Please, go grab your dictionary to look up "hypocrite"; clearly, you're not up on the definition. It would be hypocrisy if this lady got relieved by a commander who then went out and posed for Playboy or some other magazine. On the other hand, if that commander relieved the lady, then went out and bought the issue of Playboy, that's not hypocrisy. It would be kinda creepy for a commander to do that, I'll give you that, but it's not hypocrisy.
It's always the chuckle-heads who wave the "hypocrisy" flag at the drop of a dime. How about this? Do some research to see if she violated the Uniform Code of Military Justice? Well, what do you know? Article 134-27. Indecent Exposure, "(1) That the accused exposed a certain part of the accused’s body to public view in an indecent manner; (2) That the exposure was willful and wrongful; and (3) That, under the circumstances, the accused’s conduct was to the prejudice of good order and discipline in the armed forces or was of a nature to bring discredit upon the armed forces."

All the laws against drugs and prostitution, but they are rampant, worldwide in many countries that have laws against them. The real problem is laws against victimless crimes.
It's Congress that decided to keep most adult magazines from being sold on military installations. Congress pushes an unrealistic idealized "wholesome image" on the military. I don't believe she is naive about the consequences of her actions, due to others getting in trouble for similar things. Remember the mud wrestling scandal? The people investigating her have no choice, and may even sympathize with her. The military requires people to quickly follow the orders of superiors. How seriously can you really take a superior you've seen spread her legs for Playboy? Don't give me some crap about how humans should be more enlightened than that, we're dealing in reality here, and you and I both know that there would be issues coming up. There's a long history of the military expelling people who do this. You can be put in prison for having sex with a married woman other than your wife. I am not saying that the UCMJ is just, but I am not surprising that this would get her discharged.

I mean, if all she did was pose for Playboy without bringing the Air Force into the matter, that would be a simpler thing. However, she has directly challenged the Uniform Code of Military Justice, and if she wasn' t made to answer for that, throw out "good order and discipline".

The Air Force is overmanned. They're looking for reasons to kick people out. The Army is undermanned. Look up "Operation Blue to Green". Basically, the Army is taking Air Force and Navy rejects now. -
