- john2kdiggs, on 09/05/2008, -1/+26What ever happened to "The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probably cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized." ?????
For anyone not familiar with that quote, it is one of the amendments to the Constitution of the United States. Part of the Bill of Rights.
How can they do this?
And they confiscated BOOKS!???
HITLER CONFISCATED BOOKS!!!!
How can stuff like this be happening in the United States of America?
People tend to throw around the term "unAmerican" rather loosely these days. But if these actions are not "unAmerican" then I fail to understand the meaning of the term. - ZombiesSuck, on 09/05/2008, -1/+21Welcome to McCain's America
- tamckissick, on 09/05/2008, -0/+16"This is McCain territory" This impunes the McCain group. McCain should be held accountable for the actions of 'his group'.
It is illegal to impersonnate an officer of the police at any level.
There has to be some legal ramification available for anyone impeding the right to free speech and the fair and accurate voting process.
The public wrath would be harsh for all people involved if specific names were made household names.
Legal actions may be suppressed in the news due to false privacy rules of some kind.
It is not only our right, but our DUTY to absolutely flood every news agency with this information. There needs to be a public inquiry and the RNC officers need to be held responsible and publicly thrown out of office. The only way this will happen is to gather support for it from the grass roots and the only way for that to happen is to clearly define every specific action to be taken. I hearby call for Dr. Paul to publicly announce each and every one of those actions to put us all on the same page. United we can stand up to this blatent corruption, but divided we don't stand a snowball's chance! - MG1234, on 09/05/2008, -2/+16Fascism in Minneapolis (and Denver): defend the constitutional republic!
See you in NYC / 9-11 = Inside Job - WRellim, on 09/05/2008, -0/+14Most likely they were NOT actually secret service personnel.
Much more likely that they were hired McCain party goons who dressed and lied about being secret service, and these people fell for it hook line and sinker.
And yes, it is technically illegal for someone to misrepresent themselves as law enforcement when they are not, but first you have to be aware of it, second they have to be caught at it, and third you have to find someone who IS actual law enforcement and is also willing to stick their neck out.
I believe this type of thuggery occurred, yes. but I sincerely doubt that is was actual Secret Service Dept personnel. - fredjones2005, on 09/05/2008, -0/+12The Bronfmans are the “godfathers” behind the political career of John McCain.
In 1976 a crusading Phoenix reporter, Don Bolles, was murdered by a car bomb after writing a series of stories exposing the organized crime connections of a wide-ranging number of well-known figures in Arizona, including one Jim Hensley. Five years later “Honest John” McCain arrived in Arizona as the new husband of Hensley’s daughter, Cindy. “From the moment McCain landed in Phoenix,” according to Charles Lewis of the Center for Public Integrity, “the Hensleys were key sponsors of his political career.” But the people behind the Hensley fortune are even more controversial.
McCain’s late father-in-law was the owner of the biggest Anheuser-Busch beer distributorship in Arizona—one of the largest beer distributors in the nation. But the mainstream media has had nothing to say about the origins of the Hensley fortune that financed McCain’s rise to power. The Hensley fortune is a regional offshoot of the big-time bootlegging and rackets empire of the Bronfman dynasty. - veeew, on 09/05/2008, -0/+11This is a clear violation of people's constitutional rights as American citizens - yet it accurately reflects a McCain dictatorship...I mean "presidency"...
- inactive, on 09/05/2008, -0/+11Welcome to the USSA. Please leave your liberty and freedom of speech and dissent at the door. ;(
- vbullinger, on 09/05/2008, -0/+10And Obama's.
- veeew, on 09/05/2008, -0/+10The McBama dictatorship is in place - no matter which one wins it will be a fascist police state. This country is doomed.
- john2kdiggs, on 09/05/2008, -1/+8I sure hope they didn't confiscate their cameras as well!
- voicce, on 09/05/2008, -0/+7Now we know the National Conventions are just stage shows with choreographed audience participation. The RNC crowd was told to yell USA to cover any shouted dissent. You can clearly hear it all on the many YouTube videos now posted. Guards threatened and intimidated anyone who supported Ron Paul. Our taxpayer dollars bought two multi-million dollar charades. The DNC had less inside suppression only because its dissenters rolled over and played along for "party unity" and a share in the power freebies.
There is no such thing as a free election when the only candidates are appointed by power brokers far ahead of the election.
Only Ron Paul offered a challenge, and the RNC closed out free choice for the people along with him. - cbunce, on 09/07/2008, -0/+6I was a Nevada Ron Paul delegate. We let them play their games and we just learned from them for the future. We were followed the entire week, in and outside the RNC. I skipped the last day because I was so exhausted from being harassed and taunted.
They wanted us to fight them, so they could take our credentials away and we would not be allowed in the RNC anymore. This is just another reason to continue the fight for liberty in the US. Fascism is in the open for everyone to see, we just have to spread the message of Freedom and allow people to choose their own future. - cbunce, on 09/07/2008, -0/+6They may have been Secret Service, there were many levels of security. I confronted one group of gentlemen following us and asked why are you tailing us, you suck at it. He stepped back a moment listening to his ear piece. Then said "I am not one of those black hats, I have no idea why I am following you." I assume this man was just some level of RNC or McCain security since he even talked to me.
We found out through some inside intel that the "Black Hats" were assigned to any identified Ron Paul delegate on the floor of the convention. One day on the floor a man with no visible press credentials, came with a compact shoulder camera and pointed the camera at my face for about a minute from about 10 feet away, then did the same to my friend who was also a Ron Paul delegate. I can only assume they were capturing images for Facial Recognition, since the next day they started following us on the way in the door.
The entire RNC experience was overwhelming and somehow not surprising after I have had a chance to think about it over the past couple days. There is no room for dissent in our country anymore, that is for certain in my mind. - evilplayer, on 09/06/2008, -0/+5What kind of person do you have to be to get in someone's bag and take their books and buttons?
What is also amazing is the number of people who are oblivious to the media block out against Dr. Ron Paul. - moonlitfire, on 09/05/2008, -0/+4WRellim said
"Most likely they were NOT actually secret service personnel."
I doubt that they were just McCain camp cronies. Especially with the SS asking for more money (approx 9.5 million) to "protect" this years candidates on the campaign trail. They were appropriated $107million to begin with, which is more than the $73 million they were appropriated in 2k4. The amount of dough they've been given should be proof enough that these thugs are out in full force harassing the hell out of everybody not marching in step with the rest of the people at these campaign events. I think this story holds quite a bit of water coming Paul delegates, and is probably true. - lessgovguy, on 09/06/2008, -0/+3McCain and Obama are running for dictator. They both promise to do things that the Constitution does not authorize the President or even Congress to do.
- charlesn12, on 09/09/2008, -0/+3It has been noted from other websites that McCain has ties with the Mafia...this recent event proves it!!
- pietrocappello, on 09/06/2008, -0/+3They should have fought back physically so thaty it would have ended up in a court room.
- ZombiesSuck, on 09/05/2008, -0/+2I didn't mention Obama because this happened at the GOP Convention. That being said I agree
- pietrocappello, on 09/06/2008, -0/+2gotta say one more thing. these guys are all racketeers. I come from a Sicilian upbringing. My family is strictly anti mafia, i have seen what real racketeers can do. This mccain bush family are amateurs, all they have really is a lot of money. They are sloppy and feel so empowered that they are willing to let their crimes happen in the open. . My point is , is they are weak. we can and will take them down. I hope you are reading this. Justice will be served. we are coming for you.
- lessgovguy, on 09/06/2008, -0/+2Yes. I have to say tho I do not think I would have because I think you would be arrested and physically hurt.
- vbullinger, on 09/09/2008, -0/+2Ah. Nice. Thumb's up, then, for your follow-up comment, too.
- WRellim, on 09/06/2008, -0/+1Nah, I still doubt it.
Much easier to just have "security" (self-called) thuggers around. Most people in America are INCREDIBLY easy to intimidate. And it's a piece of cake to hire these types -- same guys who act as "bouncers" for night clubs, or as "security" at concerts and such... incredibly simple to hire through fraternities and the extended frat brother network.
See, THIS way there is no paper trail, no "official involvement" and 100% loyalty along with "plausible deniability" -- they can simply say it was "private citizens" acting independently on their own initiative, and that they possibly just got a bit ... how to phrase it "overzealous" in their support of McCain. And on the off chance that some local cops actually DO arrest the thugs... it's no biggie as these types are used to doing a night in jail (if absolutely necessary) especially when they know how to work the system afterward to eliminate long-term consequences.
You've actually SEEN a lot of these "thugs" at work -- remember the "suit riots" over the chad-vote counting in Florida? Well, that was a bunch of GOP frat-boy thugs in suits. I even attended a GOP event where a slide show of that event was shown by the guy who was the "chief thug" at that Florida rally (now a salaried GOP "regional coordinator") -- he was QUITE proud of what he had done, and got a very vigorous round of applause from majority of the attendees (mostly retirees -- the GOP is literally dying off...but I digress).
Anyway... attend some local GOP events with RNC sponsorship or RNC speakers, and you are VERY likely to encounter this guy or one of his frat brothers; and afterward (if you hang in the right... or actually the "wrong" places) you'll see them get their rewards in terms of booze money and chicks.
Bullies are cheap and abundant, and they learned in high school & college to be 100% loyal to the "coach" and to "take one for the team." (And they also learned how easy it is to bully people -- especially if they gang up together). Likewise, most OTHER Americans were also taught very well in our schooling system... taught how to CAVE IN to bullies; rare is the "little guy" who truly knows how to turn the bullies into eunuchs. - Hangly, on 09/09/2008, -0/+1The SS *are* party goons.
- lessgovguy, on 09/06/2008, -0/+1Why would you doubt it? US officials (FBI, CIA, various contractors, informants, the Attorney General, the President, VP, etc) have been blatantly violating the very Constitution they took an oath to uphold for the last 8 years. Have you been comatose the last eight years. Police goons in get ups definitely intended to intimidate we attendees to the Ron Paul Rally for the Republic were lurking just outside the Target Center after the rally. It was not pleasant being folowed down the street as we left.
- federaljack, on 09/06/2008, -0/+1This has now been updated with photos and video interviews!!!! Check it out!!!
- fromthinair, on 09/06/2008, -0/+0It's anyone's guess if they were SS or police or paid goons. What does it matter? These people should have been able to get protection of their personal property from law enforcement. The point is there is no more protection for citizens under the law!
- brad3378, on 09/05/2008, -8/+3Hate to say it, but I'm going to call this a rumor until I see the video.
