- Razmear, on 10/10/2007, -5/+8From the Tipline: Fred Thompson uses PAC funds for “Child Support”
It looks like Fred’s game of cat and mouse with the FEC is nothing new.
In this article from July 2007 it is revealed that Fred paid his son Daniel over $170,000 from his PAC that was formed after he left the senate in 2003.
Of the $378,000 in unused campaign contributions that were transferred into the PAC $176,000 was given to his son, $46,000 for federal races, $35,000 in other political donations and $62,700 to charity. The senator’s son, in other words, accounts for more than half the outlays.

At least Ron actually got labor for the money he spent, unlike Fred who just gave his unused campaign contributions to his son. - clayasaurus, on 10/10/2007, -2/+4Please, find a job that will actually help the American people, Agent. Professional slander is not one of those jobs.
- bushesbitch, on 10/10/2007, -5/+6oh my god you changed my mind about Ron Paul could you please tell me who to vote for and why !!!
- gypsynuke, on 10/10/2007, -3/+4$60,000 as an annual salary isn't much. Many people make more than that with nothing more than a high school diploma. Dr. Paul sent all of his kids through college. If anything, this article shows how cheap he is. He could probably pay her a little more. That would be a good thing for America's budget. The only way this could be a problem is if she just collected a check and sat at home. Is this the case? Is there evidence?
- thecoolestguy, on 10/10/2007, -3/+4those are campaign contributions that people voluntarily gave him that he is using to pay for the salary campaign staff member. He is not using tax payer funds.
Paul returns more than this amount in actual taxpayer funds to the Treasury every year when he refunds the unspent portion of his Congressional office budget. He also doesn't accept the very lucrative tax-payer funded Congressional pension. - gypsynuke, on 10/10/2007, -0/+0Sure.
- Bossobass, on 10/10/2007, -2/+2Man, the first time around, your tidbits at least showed some intiative, but as recycled drivel, it's just sad.

Ladies and gentlemen of this supposed jury, this is Chewbacca. Chewbacca is a Wookiee from the planet Kashyyyk. But Chewbacca lives on the planet Endor. Now think about it; that does NOT make sense! - CmdrBob, on 10/10/2007, -4/+2 With a name like that perhaps Hitlery is your man! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vo5CZvD3-QM .. http://video.google.es/videoplay?docid=-6470450895164255089 .. http://video.google.es/videoplay?docid=-7368223584619737075
