- inactive, on 12/23/2008, -1/+31its not mental illness its propaganda. please dont call it anything else because it only excuses his actions. In reality he gets paid 250 million dollars to tell the american public lies.
- thejimmyo, on 12/23/2008, -0/+26I happen to know some people who take this ridiculous nonsense seriously. So don't think that the conspiracy theory is too crazy to be taken seriously.
- inactive, on 12/22/2008, -1/+23The man needs to be mediated. Well, mediated with psychiatrist drugs, that is.
- woodsjransom, on 12/23/2008, -0/+18If you read the biographies out there about Limpbowels he is a personal loser, plain and simple. Flunked out of college, thought he was a football player, didn't go to Viet Nam either, 3 wives, pill popper , with a fan base of uneducated, frustrated losers at life like him who need their daily cup of lets scapegoat 'em all. He comes from a family of legal achievers and all he wanted to do in life is play with a radio. Look at the demographics of his listening base. What is his constant topic for the radio? Enough said.
- thejimmyo, on 12/23/2008, -1/+18He has already gotten in trouble for his illegal drug use.

- inactive, on 12/23/2008, -1/+14How anyone could take this idiot seriously, is beyond me.
- uncajoe, on 12/23/2008, -1/+11Calling Limpballs mentally ill insults millions of people who cannot help this problem.
Call him a Bigoted *****...... - funkyloki, on 12/23/2008, -1/+10And this is news? C'mon, who did not know this?
- Berkana, on 12/23/2008, -0/+8It sucks that he's filthy rich though.
- sarahlee, on 12/23/2008, -1/+8I agree with you. Saying he is mentally ill, or "crazy" is like saying that Bush/Cheney/Rove/The PNAC Gang have failed. They have achieved most if not all they wanted this go around and Limbaugh provides the talking point propaganda to keep people involved in the shell games.
- apothekari, on 12/23/2008, -0/+7"Rush Limbaugh is a scat muncher"-William Hicks
- inactive, on 12/23/2008, -0/+6Somebody at work used to play Rush Limbaugh, not loud enough that we could hear him but loud enough to know it was Rush. We referred to it as the "White Noise Generator." Back to the subject of the article; if Rush is actually mentally ill I simply wouldn't be surprised. What worries me are all of the people who listen to him with the volume up attentively staring into the speaker for Rush's next words of wisdom.
- Berkana, on 12/23/2008, -1/+6Rush Limbaugh is a douche rocket.
- swordedge, on 12/23/2008, -0/+5PS, I have learned that there is an accusation that it was due to drug use.. He is much smaller than I remember from the short lived TV show.
- swordedge, on 12/23/2008, -0/+5He used to be fat. He lost a lot of weight about ten years ago and if that picture that you never looked at is current, he kept it off. Mind you, he is still an entertainer and this loony theory does great for that effort.
- MSUKate, on 12/23/2008, -0/+5Please dont call Rush mentally ill, gives crazy people a bad name.
- Olfster, on 12/23/2008, -0/+5Why do so many people care about what this druggy says. Don't people remember that this guy was or may still be a pill popper. Ronald Reagan wouldn't touch this guy with a ten foot pole, yet all his "Republicans" listeners think he guy is a genius or something. Have we all forgot what the the war on drugs was about and under who it was initiated.
- r250r, on 12/23/2008, -0/+4One guy at work always gets there early and sits in his car listening to Rush until it's time to go in. It's turned up loud enough that you can hear it 25 feet away, even though he has his windows up.
Hmmm, I think Rush's illness might be contagious. This guy always carries a bottle of liquid soap around - apparently the hand cleaner in the restroom isn't good enough for him. - inactive, on 12/23/2008, -0/+3Control (just like gun control, and just as racist in its roots!) and the modern version was started by Tricky Dick, who deputized Elvis while he was stoned out of his mind on various pills.
- inactive, on 01/03/2009, -0/+3Glen Beck is a shill and a flip flopper for who ever pays the bills. I watched him for 2 years on CNN and he's never stood by anything he said.
- r250r, on 12/23/2008, -0/+2If my job were to spread such lies, I wouldn't be able to live with myself. While propaganda is the right term for his program, I think mentally ill is the right term for his mental state.
I do think that telling his fans that it's propaganda will have more effect than telling them that he is mentally ill. Saying he's mentally ill calls into question the health of his listeners, as opposed to merely implying that they are gullible. - statismisdead, on 12/23/2008, -0/+1People who think Limbaugh is anything more than an entertainer are mentally ill. Turn off the mossad stream media and become a political atheist. The false dichotomies the media are presenting to you is only meant to destroy you as a nation.
- pintomp3, on 12/23/2008, -0/+1rush gets paid to be crazy. it's his dittohead followers that are mentally ill.
- loganava, on 12/23/2008, -0/+1Yes, Rush Limbaugh is mentally 3.
- inactive, on 12/24/2008, -0/+1I said it at the time and I still believe it now. Schumer's a horse's ass for other reasons, but this fiscal ***** IS NOT Schumer's fault at all, no matter how much "conservatives" (who have forgotten the *****' fiscal part in literally 99.9% of cases, it seems) whined then or whine now. Indymac was a ***** bank with ***** management, and Schumer said-so (probably because the ***** bank management gave $ to ***** Republican politicians instead of giving $ to ***** Democrats like Schumer, but AFAIK no journalist has looked into whether that's true about Indymac!).
Pointing out Indymac was run in a ***** way in no way increased or decreased the bank management's *****. Further, by that "logic," if you blame this fiscal ***** on Schumer then a wide variety of Republicans (starting no-doubt with Ron Paul, since his warnings in the campaign foretold what would happen later, as we've seen) are to blame for the Fannie & Freddie bailouts because they said Fannie & Freddie were ***** institutions with ***** management. What's the logical difference???
I'm seriously starting to suspect Rush is back on the ol' Hillbilly Heroin or Vicodin (given the maid any "cabbage" lately, Rush??). Or maybe he needs to take another viagracation to the DR, I dunno, but something's ***** up his mental processes. Do "conservatives" (neocons) really want to censor politicians who are critical of financial institutions?? Have we gone *that* far downhill intellectually while trying to play the blame-game?
PS If Bush really believed "that markets do best when let alone. […]" then I'm *still* left wondering why he increased regulatory spending by $20 BILLION-with-a-B inflation-adjusted dollars. And once someone explains THAT to me, can they also explain why it's anything resembling honest to call such increases in spending "DEregulation"?? I can take all kinds of prefixes which don't result in NewSpeak. Try "crapregulation," or "corruptregulation," or just "*****." I don't care. But don't misrepresent Bush as a deregulator. Bush is a SPENDER. Period. Just like Republicans SAY they don't want when they're not whinging about Ron Paul, come to think of it. - biotch, on 12/23/2008, -0/+1Interesting I could of sworn it was Bush who got up there and told everyone the economy would fail unless he could give 100s of billions away to the banks.
- eliot2000, on 12/23/2008, -0/+1Yeah, because California was one we were really worried about. The collapse of Lehman Brothers, which people anticipated would be saved by the fed and was allowed to die caused a major sell-off because they insured a huge amount of those short-sold bonds, which get cashed in when companies fail. If Rush has done any research, he knows this- but there's no political hay to be made in that explanation.
- inactive, on 12/23/2008, -0/+0I thought we already decided that he was really, really, really, really high...
- normlsparky, on 12/23/2008, -2/+2Limbaugh is fat, bald and angry.
- PhoenixTx, on 01/03/2009, -1/+1Well that's great. Write a book. I don't care.
- PhoenixTx, on 01/03/2009, -1/+1I like 'em both. I like 'em all. They all say things I agree and disagree with. I think it's important to not take it too seriously if you know what I mean. I try to worry about those things that I can actually control. It's not healthy to get all worked up about those things we can't control.
- PhoenixTx, on 01/03/2009, -2/+1Rush is richer than all of us and has done well just telling his opinon on the radio. I applaud achievers! Kudo's to him and God bless him.
- 0insane1, on 12/23/2008, -1/+0limbaugh , rove and cheney.. triplets????
they are kinda like charlies angels...
so hot... - inactive, on 01/03/2009, -2/+1And leftists accuse the right of being intolerant and full of hate? Just read their unsubstantited comments about Limbaugh on this submission. BTW, for the record, I haven't listened to Rush for several years. I like Glen Beck, on opposite Rush.
- inactive, on 12/22/2008, -11/+6He's also fat.
