- gittenlucky, on 08/06/2009, -7/+32Looking forward to more Ron Paul types in the government.
- triclipse, on 08/06/2009, -9/+32Ron Paul. Rand Paul. Peter Schiff. Adam Kokesh.
Make it happen people. Donate to their campaigns no matter how tight things are. This is the time. - Taikaru, on 08/06/2009, -8/+23Rand has a real shot here in Kentucky. If the moneybomb is successful, Rand could easily become the frontrunner! Please, help us elect the next Champion of the Constitution to the United States Senate!!
- wemessy, on 08/06/2009, -7/+20The statists in BOTH parties will take a LOT more than $100 from you if we don't put an end to this madness now- and they won't ask politely when they take it from you! Pledging to donate to Rand on Aug 20th is an investment in your future. Trust me, you can't afford NOT to pledge.
- TruthisTreason, on 08/06/2009, -7/+16Bombs away!
- Lowry, on 08/07/2009, -7/+15Dugg! http://www.RandPaulForums.com
- bucfish, on 08/06/2009, -10/+17Time for a BIG spark in the powder keg.
Freedom is popular! - saraanneburrows, on 08/08/2009, -3/+10I will contribute to the campaign of ANYONE Ron Paul endorses.
- Hortnon, on 08/10/2009, -1/+7"head of multiple Congress economic think tanks"
Because he's been there 20 years, not because he knows anything. That's how committees work - seniority. - danger1973, on 08/07/2009, -8/+14I joined Digg just because I dig Drs. Paul.
- govtdoesnotwork, on 08/07/2009, -4/+10I doubt we'll ever see an honest explanation. But I expect we'll be accused of "gaming" any & all polls of any sort we have the temerity to win. The bias is palpable. I wonder how Digg would react if this happened to other candidates?
- TheTaoOfBill, on 08/07/2009, -6/+12Ron Paul always says that. He's predicted 60 out of the last 3 recessions as they say. He predicted a depression in the 90s. And what happened? We had the longest period of prosperity in American history.
Ron Paul is a nut and does not understand economics. He just knows how to sound smart when in reality he's no different than the guys on the streets with the signs that say "THE END IS NEAR"
And even as we hit our worst economic crisis since the depression he was still wrong about it. He thought the dollar would have collapsed by now. - 1DiggWonder, on 08/07/2009, -9/+13Ron Paul doesn't believe in Evolution. What's Rands stance on that? If he's pro-creation ..he gets nary a cent.
Ahh screw it I'm not donating..going to go spend it tomorrow on strippers and grenades ..more bang for your buck, literally. - govtdoesnotwork, on 08/07/2009, -8/+11It must suck to be an anti-RP troll these days. Think about it, his primary campaign finally dies, so they think all this "let's shrink government ACTUALLY, for once, instead of just lying" stuff is over.
Then, like the hydra of mythology, Rand, Schiff, & Kokesh (and I'm probably missing one or 2 others) pop up. :) - govtdoesnotwork, on 08/07/2009, -4/+6Unless they've changed a lot since the Republican primary, I'd expect Neocons to be even more upset about Rand running than the Democrats.
- Waiting2awake, on 08/07/2009, -3/+5More FUD from the usual suspects.
Bill - The Fed is the means to your enslavement, and demonstrate all the signs of Stockholm Syndrome. You may be right that Libertarians would cause the economy to go into freefall - is it is destined to do regardless - the only difference is that it would be rebuilt without the disastrous meddling of the private corporation of the Federal Reserve - and once the pain of the freefall is done, the countries money would once again be under their control. Such is the concept of freedom.
Emailown - That is ridiculous and you know it. Your FUD is just as sad as NoLib's.
The fundamental philosophy of Libertarianism is "Whatever you think your rights are, they do not extend so far as to infringe upon the rights of someone else". Simple, basic and true. Once again unlike those parties both you guys will support regardless of the harm they do...
The evil you know I guess. Just at some point, you were supposed to grow up and stop being afraid of evil. - EndAntiSemitism, on 08/10/2009, -5/+7Jesus christ, another straight up spam post (dugg up by the peons under instruction from daily paul) about Randy paul. Buried, of course. It would be wise for digg to ban this URL from any more submissions.
- TheTaoOfBill, on 08/07/2009, -7/+9lol...you say that as if they are going to win...
Unfortunately for you guys... you proved in 2008 that no matter how much money you raise and no matter how much you spam digg you can't spam the election polls. - wemessy, on 08/12/2009, -0/+2Then you should be able to rebut them rather than make a simple, unsubstantiated assertion.
- wemessy, on 08/10/2009, -3/+5The value of a $1 Federal Reserve Note in 1913 dollars:
http://www.small-business-goldmine.com/images/Melt ...
These are facts. You cannot argue with them. If you refuse to believe them, your accusations that Ron Paul is the nut suddenly seem less sincere. - dshPls, on 08/07/2009, -10/+11You're ***** spammers is the honest explanation.
- MooseOfReason, on 08/07/2009, -4/+5Right, I'm sure my representative gives a crap if I buy America's Choice ketchup instead of Heinz.
- b4liberty, on 08/12/2009, -0/+1RUN RAND RUN
Rand Paul: A New Champion
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cQtQHN-NmHI - Hortnon, on 08/11/2009, -0/+1Old man? I think I'm younger than you...
- warrensengIII, on 08/07/2009, -9/+9digg sucks
(Our Digg has been reset?
Posted: 06 Aug 2009 03:16 PM PDT
I’m not sure how or why but it seems the original digg submission for www.RunRandRun.com has been removed from Digg.com. Someone just resubmitted the site and now our Digg count is at 5. I ran a search for www.RunRandRun.com at Digg and could not find the previous story. Maybe it will fix itself, but on the other hand there are now 1800+ of us on this list and I thought it might be a good idea to share this link.
dugg for rand inspite of my dislike for this ***** site - teichenauer, on 08/10/2009, -0/+1Remember that Digg.com is only a forum and has some negative as well as positive points.
- Waiting2awake, on 08/07/2009, -7/+8He is also a libertarian which means at his core his beliefs are his own and will not be hoisted onto others. Unlike, I might point out, the usual two party bozo's, that very clearly know how you should live, and feel and think better than you..
- novenator, on 08/07/2009, -8/+9As long as this thing doesn't turn into another neocon hijacked TeaParty scheme
- TheTaoOfBill, on 08/07/2009, -5/+6Don't forget that most libertarians want to destroy the fed. Which is one of the most vital pieces to our economy. Especially now that we are off the gold standard (Which by the way was the best move we've ever made for our economy)
Libertarians would send the economy into a freefall. - emailowndme, on 08/07/2009, -7/+7Also, like most libertarians, he believe the Jews are ruining this country and that the government has black helicopters flying over your homes at all time, in an attempt to control your mind.
Also, They like the way things were 100 years ago. A wealthy class and a working class, and virtually no intersections between. - dshPls, on 08/07/2009, -9/+9I heard the same thing in 2007-2008 about another Paul, how'd that work out for you?
- fadeout, on 08/07/2009, -14/+14Blatant spam! Bury and keep the followers of nutty politicians soliciting money off Digg!
- dikky, on 08/07/2009, -5/+5go to daily paul and you'll see tons of threads that have DIGG in the title telling users to go digg the article.
- b4liberty, on 08/07/2009, -7/+7I just bit the bullet and registered, this site sucks for removing first digg, but looks like we will out digg this one to spite them
- dshPls, on 08/07/2009, -9/+9Hey I'm running for Liberty too, please contact me if you'd like to "donate" to my paypal account. Seriously this is the best swindle ever! If you don't agree you're clearly a pro-government communist.
- vbullinger, on 08/07/2009, -2/+2Only bombs that will ever be associated with Rand Paul :)
- reed311, on 08/10/2009, -5/+5Buried as spam and reported for solicitation.
- govtdoesnotwork, on 08/08/2009, -5/+5*****. I have no idea if they're going to win. I say that because the hater side knocks off one head (who wins re-election in his district anyway) and then finds 3 more, which seems to me like the Hydra of mythology. The recent hysteria from your side makes my case even stronger. And no matter how much you whine about it, this ain't spam unless anything asking for Obamaloot was last year, and I didn't see you whine about that.
- CaptainNoPants, on 08/11/2009, -1/+1Do you have any idea how this site works/operates? You've been here for 3 years, I'd like to think a human adult would be able to grasp the simplest of concepts but apparently, that's not the case.
Quit spamming this site with ***** submissions asking for money. And don't act as if you know what the site "has a problem with". I couldn't care less what the admins remove. The responsible users will bury your garbage scheme just as I have. - card51short, on 08/08/2009, -3/+3"Also, like most libertarians, he believe the Jews are ruining this country and that the government has black helicopters flying over your homes at all time, in an attempt to control your mind."
Proof?
"Libertarians would send the economy into a freefall."
And Democrats and Republicans will boost the economy into the heavens, right? :) Oh...right... - teichenauer, on 08/10/2009, -2/+1I hope you can find a candidate you support instead of spending your time dogging posts about Rand Paul.
http://www.isupportRandPaul.com/ - NoLibertarians, on 08/11/2009, -4/+3***** facts
- TheTaoOfBill, on 08/07/2009, -9/+8Seriously...do you guys not get that it's not cool to use digg to solicit money? It's in the ***** TOS!
"to advertise to, or solicit, any user to buy or sell any products or services. It is also a violation of these rules to use any information obtained from the Services in order to contact, advertise to, solicit, or sell to any user without their prior explicit consent;" - 1DiggWonder, on 08/07/2009, -5/+3how patriotic of you /s
- card51short, on 08/11/2009, -3/+1OK Hortnon...and what are your economic credentials again?
Oh...none? I see...
Oh, well...I commend you for at least replying this time ;)
But OK...I'll play along. So what you're saying is a U.S. Congressman who has been in Congress for over 20 years is working with Stormfront and the nazis, is a huge racist, hates America and who presides over multiple Congressional economic bodies even though he knows nothing about the economy and only a couple of sixty year olds on Digg know about the conspiracy while the mainstream media covers it all up?
We understand, old man...isn't it past your bed time? :) - teichenauer, on 08/10/2009, -4/+2There are never any guarantees in this life, only opportunities. Ron Paul was one of three finalists for the Republican Party nominee for President of the United States. He did better than most people who attempted to gain the nomination. I am happy for every dollar I used to support the effort of the Ron Paul Revolution and don't regret one hour I spent promoting Ron Paul as the inspiration for the revolution.
Rand Paul is already the front runner (for freedom) in my book.
http://www.isupportRandPaul.com/ - teichenauer, on 08/10/2009, -4/+2Folks, nobody forces you to look at this post. Couldn't you just read posts that you _are_ interested in instead of complaining about posts you have a beef about? Digg.com obviously doesn't seem to have a problem with the post.
- xLittleP, on 08/06/2009, -5/+4Donate to their campaigns only if you can afford to do so. Fiscal conservatism starts at home. Don't be irresponsible.
- jzcjca00, on 08/07/2009, -9/+7Bear in mind that they called Ron Paul a kook because he said the economy was in a bubble and predicted that it would collapse. Since it turns out he was right, do you think maybe we could drop the "nutty" epitaph?
Is it really so nutty to want money to be backed by something other than the promises and printing presses of politicians? I just want to know that my life savings won't be gobbled up by hyperinflation. If you say it can't happen here, you're only proving the adage that the only thing we learn from history is that we never learn anything from history.
An intelligent man learns from his mistakes; a wise man learns from the mistakes of others. Ron Paul seems to be one of a very few wise men in Washington End the Fed!
