- binaryloop, on 12/02/2007, -1/+58I really hope this story gets out there. All of the conservatives who support Rudy Giuliani need to hear this before voting. If this is how Rudy treats the taxpayers of NYC imagine what he'd do if he had access to trillions of dollars. This guy is bought and sold by the corporations. He's a tool. Rudy would screw all of us over just the same if he became President. He doesn't care if he's stealing your money. It means NOTHING to him. Tell everyone you know about this information.
- djvchris, on 12/02/2007, -1/+38Dear Viewpoints and Questions that Make me Look Bad,
Screw you.
Cordially,
Rudy
P.S. 9/11 - yanked, on 12/02/2007, -1/+20Don't forget having the NYPD walk her dog.
http://www.nydailynews.com/news/politics/2007/12/0 ... - AshamedAmerican, on 12/02/2007, -2/+20I wonder how many calls went unanswered due to them chauffeuring them around.
- djvchris, on 12/02/2007, -0/+12Um...except this is another drop in what is a rapidly-filling bucket that represents the demise of Giuliani's campaign.
A lot of diggers have a hypothesis that Giuliani is a corrupt, idiotic politician. This article is an example of evidence for that hypothesis. - medalian1, on 12/02/2007, -3/+14WOW and this is the Republican front runner. Good job America!
- pintomp3, on 12/02/2007, -2/+12rudy is a true conservative, he doesn't want to waste tax payer money on health care for children. he didn't say anything about wasting it on his family and friends. hypocrisy at it's worst.
- binaryloop, on 12/02/2007, -1/+10@travbrack: on the contrary. It's COMPLETELY relevant to bring this up again. If you were about to buy stuff from some guy -- and he had previously been accused of fraud and theft -- wouldn't you want to know? We are voting for the President of the United States -- arguably the most powerful office in the world. If he's willing to scam New Yorkers what do you think he'll do to the American public?
- drdarkenyc, on 12/02/2007, -1/+10As a former resident of NYC during Il Duce's reign of terror, I have to say I couldn't BELIEVE the love most of America was showing him! He's a bully, an intolerant scold, and has zero respect for the rule of law or due process if it doesn't agree w/him (he had more ordinances and policies shot out from under him by court rulings than any Mayor in New York City's history).
Guiliani is a GENUINE Fascist - as opposed to a Fratboy-Fascist-Wannabe like The Traitors Bush, Cheney and Gonzalez - and I fear he will complete the destruction the Treason Triplets started should be be elected President. - chase001, on 12/02/2007, -2/+9Why was infidelity such an abhorrent crime when Clinton did it but when this fascist transvestite with a salivation problem does it it's peachy keen to the red state zombies?
- inactive, on 12/02/2007, -1/+8Come on people, WE ALL know that she did it to protect herself from the terrorists, after listening to Rudy's warnings.
Speaking of which...
9/11 - stephbangm, on 12/02/2007, -2/+9Fruity Benito Ghoulitranny (I fit them all!)
1) Married his cousin
2) Public Crossdresser (SNL, Mayor's Circle, NY State Conventions, etc.)
3) Married 3 times; Divorced twice.
4) Advocates gun control and illegal immigration
5) Flip flops a lot! (Google: Giuliani flip-flop)
^
Are these the new "informal" Presidential attributes? - etsa, on 12/02/2007, -2/+8Ohhh, this is prelude to some interesting... dugg
- annienyc4, on 12/02/2007, -1/+7My favorite part of the Video is "...former police commissioner Kerik, now indicted..." lol.
- yanked, on 12/02/2007, -1/+5By the way, the real point isn't just that he treated his mistress to all the perks traditionally afforded to the mayor's wife. I'm sure all the "old news" arguers are just as in favor of mistresses and adultery as I am. The point is that he seems to have secretly billed those perks to a wide variety of utterly unrelated city agencies -- ie, he stole from the city. That's not old news, and not a minor gotcha.
- obliviousfool, on 12/02/2007, -0/+4This primary is extremely important! If it comes down to a choice between Hillary and Giuliani, the American people have already lost!
- chase001, on 12/02/2007, -0/+4True. They should have made tshirts that said "I spent $16 Million In Taxpayer Money and All I Got Was This Little Blue Dress".
- obliviousfool, on 12/02/2007, -0/+4She shouldn't have needed a security detail. After all, Rudy eliminated violent crime from New York City!
9/11 - Elranzer, on 12/02/2007, -0/+3Because the GOP were desperately looking for something to slam Clinton with, and that's all they could come up with.
- PeppermintPig, on 12/02/2007, -0/+2The Beautiful people certainly should not be exposed to the dregs of society!
- barktwiggs, on 12/02/2007, -1/+3Let's just say that his second marriage didn't end very amicably. What type of a guy announces his divorce at a press conference without notifying his current wife? This, while he was having an affair on the taxpayers dime.
- Acewrap, on 12/02/2007, -0/+2No, but when the boss's girlfriend tells you to jump, you ask how high.
- Seeker135, on 12/03/2007, -0/+2Like yours?
- harris, on 12/02/2007, -1/+3"This is nothing more than partisan politics aimed at the Republican front-runner."
- ralph12c41, on 12/02/2007, -0/+2Valid point!
- jakeson2, on 12/02/2007, -0/+1Does it matter than he MARRIED, instead of merely committing adultery like Mr Clinton was so famous for. And don't forget the charge of RAPE, that was never investigated. It is too bad that Mr waxman was not a Republican. We sure could have had some fun with Hillary and Bill, and McDougal, and Sandy Berger, and, and, and the list goes on forever it seems.
- McDeath, on 12/02/2007, -0/+1This is total *****, this mofo should be tasered for his incompetence and superiority issues!
- iNoles, on 12/02/2007, -3/+4Giuliani just needed step down.
- TheWindBlows, on 12/02/2007, -0/+1dont touch me.
- mOdQuArK, on 12/02/2007, -1/+2The biggest confirmation is that Giuliani's spokepeople didn't deny that it happened, just denied that it was illegal.
- Seeker135, on 12/03/2007, -0/+1Rudy is an elitist war pig. Here's hoping his indictment on corruption charges is not far off.
- Elranzer, on 12/02/2007, -0/+1We saw Rudy vs Hillary back in 2000, when they were fighting for the NY Senate seat. We all know how that turned out... Rudy backed out and Hillary won by a landslide. History will probably repeat itself.
- Zotter, on 12/02/2007, -1/+2CARP! Wrong damn article - how'd that get over here???
- johnlabmonkey, on 12/02/2007, -1/+2Oh yes, those unnamed sources. Stacks of financial records obtained under the Freedom of Information Act.
- ChimpFlix, on 12/03/2007, -0/+1It's not a matter of her "forcing" anyone to chauffer her or her friends, it's a matter of Rudy allowing it and it being an illegal use of taxpayer funds.
- arTech, on 12/02/2007, -0/+1yes. he's no chickenhawk. i mean he did server err...wait he ran away from vietnam
- Seeker135, on 12/03/2007, -0/+1Yeah, this is SOOOOOOOOO unlikely to be real. Totally farfetched. Grow up.
- MikeFallopian, on 12/02/2007, -0/+1From the article: "A source involved with the mayor's operations at the time tells CBS 2..." Or were you talking about something entirely unrelated to the article being discussed?
- mishabear, on 12/02/2007, -0/+1It only matters if the person is running for President. I don't give a damn what they do in Nebraska. Let the people of Nebraska deal wth it.
- stephbangm, on 12/02/2007, -0/+1Republicans are suppose to be conservative—being married 3 times is NOT conservative. This luminously displays how FRudy is NOT a true Republican.
- LeeSoong, on 12/02/2007, -0/+1"NYPD 911 operator - what is your emergency?"
'Listen Up, I want two large pepperoni and a two liter of Pepsi - and make sure your monkeys remember to bring cups, paper plates and napkins this time, they forgot everything last time - and it Damn well better not be cold!!!'
"Yes Miss, right away! Anything for you! Thank you for calling the NYPD 9-1-1 service.'
/humor - ladalang, on 12/06/2007, -0/+1There is one thing clear, They will lie for Rudy at the drop of a hat. Like because they say it's false that we actually believe it... How many witnesses to his abuse do we need? 9/11, 9/11, 9/11...
- LeeSoong, on 12/03/2007, -0/+1FTA: GhoulieAnnie:
"If you had any concern for people's safety, you'd have the decency to leave it alone. You should be ashamed of yourselves," the former mayor said back in 2001.
Riiight... and an Adulterer cheating on his wife while she sits at home with the kids has nothing to be ashamed of, of course.
What a total pile of @%*"$%!^ this man is. - Seeker135, on 12/03/2007, -0/+1Do you see anybody being impeached for any of the "high crimes and misdemeanors" that have been committed in the name of this illegal war? There is no left-right paradigm anymore. Wake up, then grow up.
- Seeker135, on 12/03/2007, -0/+1So the president is supposed to go to the red light district to get a header? Grow up.
- brad3378, on 12/02/2007, -1/+1Bill O'Reilly says that Giuliani is the only candidate that can beat Hillary. Sadly, it appears that his sheep are listening.
- jakeson2, on 12/02/2007, -1/+1As compared with the secret service procuring prostitutes for John Fitzgerald Kennedy? Or the State Troopers of Arkansas setting up clandestine meetings with females for Mr Clinton while governor of Arkansas?
- TheColonel, on 12/02/2007, -1/+1s/arguably/previously
- sunchild, on 12/02/2007, -1/+1This is really petty. No one cares really.
- debunker101, on 12/11/2007, -0/+0You have to wonder, how come he just didn't send "her" over to his Police Chief's secret liaison public paid for apartment.........save a few bucks.....then Julianne could play cross-dresser to boot.
