- mattewood, on 11/30/2007, -17/+352Giuliani's such a douchebag.
- rexb, on 11/30/2007, -14/+179What a terrible person
- inactive, on 11/30/2007, -10/+164Heh, his response to bus driver's allegations of corruption went down exactly the same. Bring up something he deems not being a worthy subject? He'll pick on you and say your insane. Very well spoken response to what Giuliani said, too bad I doubt he'll ever see the video.
- diggerman, on 11/30/2007, -63/+173Giuliani didn't know the caller had Parkinson's before he started mocking him, and the caller was extremely rude insulting Giuliani before even explaining why he disliked him.
- raymondmarble, on 11/30/2007, -10/+116Yeah, this kind of disdain from Giuliani to all people and groups that he considers inconvenient is why I started hating the man when he was my mayor in the 1990s.
Of course, the more you learn about him, the more reasons you have to hate the guy. - budgetguitar, on 11/30/2007, -9/+98Giuliani is a bully. He has to result to insulting people to belittle them in order to communicate with them. He has no time for the American people and I'm sure he hates campaigning since it requires him to talk to the public and deal with their questions.
Don't give this A-hole any more attention. He lacks integrity, honesty, compassion and vision. Power and money are all he's interested in. - Ramble, on 11/30/2007, -14/+85A political opponent or anyone in a debate shouldn't make fun of him, they should debate their points. He is clearly avoiding the subject by making the poor man look insane.
- sockpuppets, on 11/30/2007, -2/+65As a douchebag I am highly offended by your comment.
- Rezzy, on 11/30/2007, -6/+63This man is the _last_ thing this country needs right now.
- V1bes, on 11/30/2007, -14/+66wow, i never thought someone could be so heartless and cruel but giuliani suprises me yet again
- cjackson, on 11/30/2007, -1/+36Not that I'm a fan of Romney, but did you see his reaction when that old guy said he'd never vote for a Mormon? It was a similar situation in that it was someone flat out disrespecting the candidate, but Romney just walks away. As a political candidate, you're always going to have some people who disrespect you out of hand, but a decent person (and politician) knows knows how to handle it with dignity and grace.
- TsuruchiBrian, on 11/30/2007, -3/+38It's only a matter of time before we start calling douchebags "...such a Giuliani"
- nytel, on 11/30/2007, -8/+42***** OFF
- inactive, on 11/30/2007, -5/+38It's scary to think that if Rudy Guiliani gets elected, we could actually be even worse off than having Bush as our president... What an insensitive *****.
- ryan850, on 11/30/2007, -2/+34Either way I want my president to respect people regardless... not act like he's 16 and someone just called him a pussy.
- juniorb, on 11/30/2007, -4/+34Stop making apologies for Giuliani. What, he's a New Yorker, so it's charming when he's a dick?
I want a president who's able to get through to even the most angry and irrational person.
A good leader should have the uncanny ability to soothe fears, address concerns, and renew peace of mind. A good leader should clap the shoulder of an agitated man, whisper a few words into his ear, and send him away with a smile on his face. A good leader should understand the darkest thoughts of the most desperate people, and empathize with them in a way that few others can.
We care too much in this country about who's the sexiest, quippiest, most entertaining candidate. And it's because we've lost sight of what qualities a real leader must have. A real leader unites people just by being present in the room. Whoever thinks a leader needs to be a tough, take-no-names cowboy bad-ass has seen one too many Michael Bay movies.
What this country needs is a president who accepts that people are coping with disaster and alienation, and doesn't mock them, ignore them, or talk over them. - Salgat, on 11/30/2007, -0/+29Rudy has a damn lisp, how can he go criticizing how other people sound.
- theskyman, on 11/30/2007, -6/+34Rudy loves to insult people regardless of the situation. He has no tact and is so unprofessional. Yet he calls himself a Christian!
- marspidey, on 11/30/2007, -3/+30Exactly. This shows his true character, if you confront hm he will just mock and scorn you. It's just pathetic that he doesn't have the integrity to respect others not matter what they say.
- toekneebullard, on 11/30/2007, -3/+28I agree. The guy complains that Rudy was rude to him, but the guy was rude within seoncs of the call being picked up. I HATE Giuliani, but this is just a lame attempt at being controversial. His answer wasn't right by any means. He dodges the accusations, but you can't make it out like Giuliani looked this guy in the eye and told him he breathes funny.
- fani, on 11/30/2007, -0/+24I live in NY and on 9/11 and after, I didn't understand why he was being hailed. I always only saw him on TV and he was a hero...for what exactly ?
And America's mayor for what exactly ?
I've despised the media since then and do so even today. Media is as guilty as is Giuliani for his grandeur visions which I hope won't make him President. - Nougat, on 11/30/2007, -2/+26911 911 911 911 911 911911911911911
- InfamousAtheist, on 11/30/2007, -3/+25Wow, do you wipe his ass clean too?
That image is offensive. - inactive, on 11/30/2007, -5/+25I was pointing out the terrible banner graphic on that giuliani forum that no one would ever visit. Several time's i've pointed out something purposely leaving out any bias, and people have jumped to the wrong conclusions. It's like you HAVE to lead people towards one bias or another, otherwise they misunderstand what you are trying to say. To those that responded to my comment like it was pro-giuliani, you are fools. Try harder to avoid being flaming idiots
- inactive, on 11/30/2007, -3/+20So you support adultery?
You feel that's appropriate behavior for an adult and Presidential candidate?
Adultery is cowardice. It means you are too much of a pussy to break up before sneaking out and finding a bang pig. - terrordome, on 11/30/2007, -6/+23Giuliani's perspective is that of an *****. It's dark and smells like *****.
- JettaMan, on 11/30/2007, -19/+36Okay, I'm a big Ron Paul supporter but these spurious digs at Rudy are so stupid. First of all, how the hell is he supposed to diagnose someone as Parkinson's over the phone? Some dip ***** called up and started the call by insulting Giulianni. What did you expect him to say? Second, how come the guy sounds totally normal on the phone but then in the video interview his voice is all wobbly? Something is not right here.
- 11oops, on 11/30/2007, -2/+18I accidentally got some Santorum on my girl's bed last night.
- marspidey, on 11/30/2007, -3/+19One shouldn't have to see a person to have the respect to not insult them. Even if the caller was wrong Guiliani was still in the wrong for the insults. Two wrongs don't make a right, as cliche as that sounds.
- LondonChick, on 11/30/2007, -11/+26Somebody needs to taser that guy every time he opens his mouth. Oh hey, we could throw Bush in there as well. Now THAT I would pay to see!
- kamikazicondon, on 11/30/2007, -4/+19BAG OF DOUCHE!
- bovox, on 11/30/2007, -9/+22I think Giuliani's a giant dirty douchebag as well, however to be fair, he did not know that this person had Parkinson's. The only thing Giuliani knew was that there was a person calling him on the phone who started verbally assaulting him. If someone came at me like that on the phone I would attack back.
- dime, on 11/30/2007, -3/+16"No one's saying Giuliani is a great candidate, but if you want to trash him, trash his VIEWS and POLICY PLANS, not his apparent "unfriendliness."
Sorry champ, but I'd like my President to have the moral character (and testicular fortitude) to respond to harsh words with wit and intelligence, not 5th grade playground jibberjabber.
Rudy was one step away from "I know you are but what am I". lol. - cerealman, on 11/30/2007, -1/+14So what you are saying is that Giuliani was wrong for what he did, or that the caller was right?
Of course, do you really want your president making poor decisions without actually knowing what he's doing or would you rather have your president react without thinking? - Lshah, on 11/30/2007, -1/+13Okay to your point that Rudy didn't know that the man was ill.
But lets face it...when you're in that high up a position, shouldn't you know better then to start shooting your mouth off and calling people crazy because they dont like you? What's with asking the guy if he was in a hole? I mean, did he have to be a jack ass back? Where was his dignity? Why couldn't he ask, 'so, why is it that you say that I'm the worst mayor NYC had?' etc? Cmon! - Ramble, on 11/30/2007, -6/+18What a grade A *****.
- natedouglas, on 11/30/2007, -12/+23You clearly need psychiatric help, Digg4This. Please provide your name and address and we'll be over to see you.
- Fafnir43, on 11/30/2007, -3/+14I'm gay, and I consider the comparison to Guiliani one hell of a lot more insulting than use of the word "fag".
- shaun1018, on 11/30/2007, -5/+16Bush 2.0
- Miche1987, on 11/30/2007, -2/+13Stop that, you're insulting the douchebags.
- dime, on 11/30/2007, -0/+11Yes, let's take pity on the poor poor politicians who can't bear to hear mean mean wordys.
God forbid if he gets elected President. Putin will call him a name and Rudy will respond with 1000 nukes. bahahaha. - inactive, on 11/30/2007, -1/+11Your take on the title for this is distorted. Rudy Giuliani insulted a man. The man on the other end of the phone, does indeed have Parkinson's. Did he pick on the man's breathing? Yes. Did he pick on the man's breathing knowing he had that condition? No.
A true distortion of the headline would read "Rudy picks up on man's disabilities and mocks him for it."
Notice how one headline doesn't stretch any of facts that the READERS know and the other does. We cannot tell if Rudy knew of his condition, but we sure can tell he was mocking the indicator of it. - inactive, on 11/30/2007, -1/+11The mark of a true statesman is not rising to the bait. Rudy failed.
- mrjit, on 11/30/2007, -0/+10Interesting considering I recently saw a video with another candidate who had a 95 year old man shout "I'm not voting for a mormon" and the candidate still asked to shake his hand and was 100% polite, demeanor is huge part of being a successful politician. Rudy doesn't have an ounce of class.
- alkajazz, on 11/30/2007, -2/+12To all you whiners " Giuliani didnt see the man....How could he of known? " Blah blah blah
I don't want anyone who is supposed to be a leader stoop that low and insult them back. What happened to taking the high road and having good character? I guess we want leaders who act just as childish as the people who insult them. - theOster, on 11/30/2007, -8/+18yeah, i can't stand rudy, but this is just dumb
- Grummond, on 12/01/2007, -6/+15Remember, your precious Ron Paul would cut this man off his food stamps too.
Might not make fun of him, but he'd cut him off from his life support. - plhearn, on 11/30/2007, -13/+22This is so much BS. I hate Guiliani, and he is indeed a douchebag. But the guy calls him up on the radio, starts spouting off insults, says hes the biggest criminal in the city. What did he think Guiliani was going to say? He didn't know this guy had parkinsons and all he really did wrong was stoop to the caller's level and start insulting him back. I really wouldn't be surprised if any other candidates have done the same to a heckler at some point or another.
Based on the headline I was expecting to see Guilinai mock a parkinson's victim to his face. This is just a bunch of sensationalism. - chrisfoxinc, on 11/30/2007, -0/+9The other guy was not running for president. If you want to run for president then I think that you should be able to show yourself to be the bigger man. Showing yourself to be as small as the caller is hardly a defense!
- Miche1987, on 11/30/2007, -2/+11I REALLY hope that site is just one huge, elaborate troll.
