I'm not sure what to think of the University of Iowa. I assume Karl Rove did the event for the money. But what did the University of Iowa get out of it? As far as I can tell, they paid a criminal $40,000 so their students could yell at him. Couldn't they have found a better use for that money?

... And he expects to be fully pardoned the day before Bush leaves office. You can't get a pardon without first being indicted.

Why not wait until next January when there isn't a chummy president in the White House to give pardons as soon anything happens? (Though I expect Bush is going to do a few blank check pardons on his way out of office.)

This man is not happy. No political or monetary rewards are worth the kind of skeletons that are in his closet. Dying with a smile, knowing that you did everything you could to make the world a better place for everyone is what all people in power should aim for, and what we should demand.

Not to worry, Hillary Clinton has his ass covered. If she is elected president, he will be the first to get a get-out-of-jail-free card for helping her win the elections. "_If_" she wins, that is. Personally, I think everyones gotten sick of Karl Roves fear politics and Hillary will lose out in the end (but not without nearly destroying the Democratic party).
