- dunderballer, on 03/11/2008, -6/+112After Rove called objecting students "stupid" and other childish insults, the university president should have got up and escorted him off the stage. The Columbia President had stern words for Ahmadinejad as a guest speaker, but at least Ahmadinejad remained respectful towards disapproving students and the university.
- inactive, on 03/11/2008, -8/+106Dear University of Iowa,
PLEASE DON'T FEED THE TROLLS!
Sincerely,
The American People - rzxc, on 03/11/2008, -5/+98I'm not sure what to think of the University of Iowa. I assume Karl Rove did the event for the money. But what did the University of Iowa get out of it? As far as I can tell, they paid a criminal $40,000 so their students could yell at him. Couldn't they have found a better use for that money?
- inactive, on 03/11/2008, -8/+79Waterboard his fat ass.
- 0rion16, on 03/11/2008, -16/+81If I ever met Karl Rove (aka the man who dismantled America) I'd punch him in the throat, people would have to hold me back. And I'm a nonviolent dirty hippie type, who's never thrown a punch in his life.
- Jexie, on 03/11/2008, -5/+69Considering Rove helped tear up the US constitution I am not the least bit surprised that Ahmadinejad appears more respectful than Rove does. Rove has done more to destroy what the US stands for than Ahmadinejad or any so called terrorist ever could in their wildest dreams.
- inactive, on 03/11/2008, -6/+55Then by all means, allow me. I'm the violent biker type.
- hawkeye17, on 03/11/2008, -3/+50He should get used to these reactions from the public. Especially as more and more comes out about how big a scumbag he really is. History will not be kind to Karl Rove.
- rain39, on 03/11/2008, -6/+50We should be so lucky to finally get him on something!
- thetedster180, on 03/11/2008, -3/+44karl rove is the definition of a crooked *****
- jlhoben, on 03/11/2008, -6/+46Scum.
- JoshuaLowe, on 03/11/2008, -1/+36I hate to say this but his self-righteous indignation is reminiscent of the men who were tried at Nuremberg.
- Taciturn, on 03/11/2008, -3/+34Which foreign terrorist have we passed up on prosecuting, exactly?
- quesi, on 03/11/2008, -6/+31they're not that far away, but need to have dick/bush safely confined.
- allowners, on 03/11/2008, -3/+28Which scumbag at the University of Iowa agreed to pay this notorious lying criminal a nickel?
- jaymzdean, on 03/11/2008, -1/+25...Karl Rove...I need 2 of him. One to ***** on, and the other to cover it up with.
- cyclopssmiley, on 03/11/2008, -1/+24They should have tased him!
- Shiftgood, on 03/11/2008, -3/+25I feel sorry for the hookers he uses. that guy is pretty damn ugly.
- Strman, on 03/11/2008, -1/+23The kid should have asked if we could have the half a trillion dollars spent on the war back, along with the countless lives lost and civil liberties revoked. ***** Rove, that idiotic fat piece of *****. He is a sorry excuse for a human being.
- itsameericle, on 03/11/2008, -0/+21I don't need any more of this paternalistic crap about we the simple people don't know what's good for us... Karl Rove has done more to damage this world than many others. I hope he laughs his way all the way to a real indictment and real jail time. Chances are though, that he won't.
- charlietuna, on 03/11/2008, -3/+23Damn, you are on to us pinko liberals. we want to destroy this country!! Bwhaha! How about a Libertarian gun owning, church going, anti-regulator free marketer who *still* thinks Dubya is a fricking retard? Let me guess, a Liberal is someone- anyone YOU don't agree with.
- Dingoboy, on 03/11/2008, -1/+21Yeah so Bush can pardon him on his way out!? Typical politics.
- charlietuna, on 03/11/2008, -1/+19Only Herr Karl would look forward to an indictment.
- siszam, on 03/11/2008, -9/+26I'm a socialist and I'm pro life so drop the self righteous crap. Republicans have a dead bodies everywhere they go. Or don't you count our troops that you Republican terrorists have killed and disabled? You're mighty brave when it comes to hiding at home and running your mouths while sending other peoples sons and daughter to die for imaginary enemies.
- inactive, on 03/11/2008, -3/+20slippery bastard would probably fake his own death and get away safely.
just like ken lay. - chase001, on 03/11/2008, -4/+20Because they can't prosecute a phantom menace but they can someone who outed a N.O.C. as political payback.
- DaviDTC, on 03/11/2008, -1/+17Shouldn't this story be censored soon?
- mrcoderga, on 03/11/2008, -3/+18Gotta love how crowds hiss at the especially immoral politicians wherever they go. These political villains can pretend to themselves and their followers to be oh-so-moral but the truth comes out in the end. They are shunned from society, fully due the bad karma they got now. Rove, Rumsfeld, Gonzales, Ashcroft, and soon Bush and Cheney will be chased out of USA. Europe even has warrants for their arrest if they set foot on their soil. Paraguay is starting to make a lot of sense for Bush.
- chase001, on 03/11/2008, -2/+17Miss Piggy would have too much fun in jail. It's like a smorgasbord for a Repug closet queen.
- toddcat, on 03/11/2008, -5/+18Represent IOWA!!!!!
- kinerry, on 03/11/2008, -0/+13We didn't want this guy to come.
Unfortunately we don't make this decision. Even more unfortunate was that 60% of the price came from student fees. - SilenceGold, on 03/11/2008, -3/+15I won't be surprised that if an accident, that would lead to his death, would happen before he is indicted.
- toddcat, on 03/11/2008, -3/+15Not to mention Rove is supposedly an American and we are (if you believe the wingnuts) a higher order of people....so now we're relegated to claiming we're just a little bit better than a supposed nutjob? Uh yeah....they hate us for our freedoms.
- sratiug, on 03/11/2008, -5/+16Stupid bastard. Karl Rove, he is.
- inactive, on 03/11/2008, -1/+11Looks like company SWIFTBOAT HAS SPRUNG A LEAK
Poor Karl Rove - no more chain link pens miles away, ironically referred to as First Amendment Zones. No more walking into a room full of enthusiastic supporters to give you that spirit, to kind of put that wind behind your back
No more massive police force standing by to throw dissenters out, - digindrivefast, on 03/11/2008, -7/+17I got the part about the video/audio being "limited" to the first "x"minutes... This is pricele$$ OOOPS not: $40,000.00 and no video!!
Hope he chokes on his bile in his sleep! The man should never be paid one more thin dime to speak anywhere in this Country!
Oh! Hell! There is no more "anywhere" in this Country!
Knock. Knock...
- Vanhalenite, on 03/11/2008, -1/+10Rove isn't worth more than that
- spucky, on 03/11/2008, -3/+12No, there is nothing good that can be learned from Rove. He simply needs to be buried upside down in salt.
- bjornski, on 03/11/2008, -0/+9Ethics and honesty
- sotthapana, on 03/11/2008, -2/+10This man is not happy. No political or monetary rewards are worth the kind of skeletons that are in his closet. Dying with a smile, knowing that you did everything you could to make the world a better place for everyone is what all people in power should aim for, and what we should demand.
- DanOnTheMoon, on 03/11/2008, -1/+9You, Sir, masturbate to pictures of Himmler.
- T8erT0T, on 03/11/2008, -1/+9This should be retitled to "I Fully expect to be pardoned by the end of the year."
- Disfnord, on 03/11/2008, -0/+7you sure you want to eat a burger cooked by a digger?
- bjornski, on 03/11/2008, -1/+8He's laughing, because he knows it'd be blocked, and even if he WERE convicted, he'd be pardoned.
They're not just ***** on this country, they're flaunting it and laughing at us. - yunus, on 03/11/2008, -2/+9For $40,000 I would stand in front of just about any crowd and say just about anything. Why did the school pay this guy?
- relaxeder, on 04/17/2009, -1/+8If he had balls he would have said no and not enabled the president on every crooked decision he's made.
- digindrivefast, on 03/11/2008, -3/+10No that was pretty perfect! I'm screaming & yelling so loud right now that "scum" is almost a "calming" balm!
- sgtpppr, on 03/11/2008, -1/+8They spent $40k to get their university in the paper and stir up a little controversy. They'll be a lot of analysis and articles written and the University gets attention. Sounds like they got a decent deal on a very large PR package including front page of digg.
- jellygraph, on 03/11/2008, -5/+12if your role model is the bastard son of satan, then you have issues
- inactive, on 03/11/2008, -2/+9at rove's throat?
