- nixonrichard, on 10/12/2007, -16/+65Rosie O'Donnell is a hoax to turn public opinion against fat, ugly, retarded lesbians . . . and Donald Trump will back me up on that.
- RogerStrong, on 10/12/2007, -4/+49The Gulf of Tonkin is widely considered to be a false flag incident. Yeah, she's calling it a hoax.
- dukeeeey, on 10/12/2007, -15/+43Educate yourself
look how we ***** iran before

Toppled its first democracy .. - LostApostle, on 10/12/2007, -28/+53I would say she is a little off but that would be rude.
Her saying this is the equivalent of me yelling fire in a theatre. There is little reason to make this up. She demeans these individuals lives with this statement and should be ashamed as a mother for talking ill of someones' sons and daughters. - Zique, on 10/12/2007, -11/+31So why did Iran admit kidnapping the sailors?
- dle5, on 10/12/2007, -5/+19I'd like to see Iran capture Rosie. They would probably beg us to take her back.
- gojeda, on 10/12/2007, -3/+15Ratings must be down.
- primetime75, on 10/12/2007, -5/+16It's interesting that she decided to proclaim herself the moral dictator of Hollywood. Before you point out the splinter in someone's eye, you should remove the log in yours.
- AriZoney, on 10/12/2007, -20/+30She's only a mother in a strictly biological sense, and when that is good for her ratings.
Rosie's got all the credibility of an apologetic pyromaniac packing a flame thrower. Nothing she does, says or sensationalizes matters to her at all, except in the respect that it gets more people paying attention to her and feeds her ego.
I doubt she herself even believes this. All she's doing is courting the (foil hat) 'conspiracy nuts' trying to get a few more of them to watch her on T.V. She sees the fervor with which they attach themselves to anything 9/11-truther and says "hey, why not me too?" Even the way she makes the comparison (Gulf of Tonkin. Google it. Okay.) is indicative of the way these conspiracy nuts talk these days. - Sharky35, on 10/12/2007, -13/+23Rosie will self destruct in...5...4...3...2..................
- SultanTravi, on 10/12/2007, -5/+14I would say they would behead her, but I don't think they make swords big enough to cut through that much blubber.
- Zacharute, on 10/12/2007, -5/+14@KKKguy
If by American treasure you mean a plague to American society then yea I agree with you. - THX1212, on 10/12/2007, -4/+13"We then put back in place a Shah, the son of a brutal dictator, and guess what, he was a brutal dictator as well. Suffice to say, they have a reason to feel a bit of, well, animosity."
Actually, as the War Nerd put it:
"Let me set the stage, but telling the truth this time, not the crap the official sources give you. In 1978 Iran was the most powerful country in the Middle East, rapidly modernizing under the Shah, Reza Pahlevi. You hear a lot of nonsense about his "repressive" policies, but the truth is way simpler: the Shah's problem is that he actually WAS trying to make Iran a modern, powerful country. In 1963 the Shah started his "White Revolution," a typical Kennedy-style reform plan, kind of out-commie-ing the commies."
"Of course, that's not the official story. The Leftist academics will tell you the Iranians overthrew the Shah in revenge for persecution from his "feared and hated SAVAK secret police." The truth is, SAVAK was a small (15,000 men), defensive CI service. Unless you were actively involved in Islamist or Communist conspiracies, it would pretty much leave you alone, which was a lot more than you can say for the cops/spies of any other regime in the 4,000 years of Persian/Iranian history, including the creeps running the country now."
"The other lie you hear about the Shah is that he was "corrupt." He skimmed from the petrodollars coming in, sure-but compared to any other Middle Eastern ruler, the Shah was squeaky-clean. He actually put Iran's oil revenues to work changing the country, building roads, irrigation projects, and setting up an educational system (the first in the country's history)."
http://www.exile.ru/2005-August-26/american_nationalism.html - shrewduser, on 10/12/2007, -16/+25i'm only interested in hearing conspiracy theories from people who are in the know, or have some reason/evidence to back up their claims, it also helps if they're not fat, ugly, bitter little munchkins...
- RogerStrong, on 10/12/2007, -26/+34She's what Stalin called a "Useful Idiot"
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Useful_idiot - euphemizeme, on 10/12/2007, -5/+13Now I'm not going to call Rosie O'Donnell a stupid ***** ugly cow ogre sludge *****, but I will say that I think this is out of line. Shame on you Rosie. You embarrass yourself and your country.
- Osjpr, on 10/12/2007, -16/+24lol, did someone say spreader of freedom and democracy?
- EntropyMan, on 10/12/2007, -16/+23The point is not that whether the capture of the sailors happened or not. It most likely did. The point is that the situation may have been indirectly manipulated by the US to this outcome, a sort of escalation engineered by us to lay the groundwork for an attack we already decided on. That's what makes it like Gulf of Tonkin, not the faking of the reports.
If we capture a top Iranian general in Turkey (which is what Iran alleges, some say he defected, but there is no evidence of that), and Iran says they'll capture coalition sailors in response, and then does so a week later, is this really an isolated incident that requires us to go to war? Could this alleged kidnapping even have been planned to enrage Iran? (not to mention the intelligence it gains us).
The better answer is to figure out what happened with the General -- either they're right or they're wrong. And either way, we should get an answer before we know if we (and by extension, the soldiers we put in harm's way) are innocent bystanders or not. - Ibanezfoo, on 10/12/2007, -5/+12Can't this fat whore be hanged for treason or something? Why is she even in the public eye? Who the hell actually watches her? What kind of lenses do they use on the cameras to fit her Jabba body on the screen... or, has anyone ever been able to capture a whole image of her in a single frame? If so, did the camera survive? Did the photographer survive? She is an ugly, fat, no talent, unintelligent hack who is of no use to humanity. I wish she/it would go away.
- sloof70, on 10/12/2007, -7/+13WHAT A BITCH! I hope she gets captured by Iranians.
- fr0ng, on 10/12/2007, -16/+22what a fat bitch
- oscarsonthepond, on 10/12/2007, -3/+9Haven't you people heard Achmedinejad speak? His entire existence is for the purpose of stirring the pot w/ the West.
- THX1212, on 10/12/2007, -3/+9It's a shame. Rosie has so much potential for good. For example, we could restore the draft and deploy Rosie O'Donnell to the Mexican border. With her girth and mannerisms, she would stop all comers in a heartbeat.
- Xinareiaz, on 10/12/2007, -3/+9Just another ploy to get media attention...and look. It worked!
- primehifi, on 10/12/2007, -16/+22Rosie's balls must ride in the back seat of her H3.
- qsqueeq, on 10/12/2007, -12/+18Bitch.
Google it. - nixonrichard, on 10/12/2007, -12/+17Just like the USS Maine and the assassination of Archduke Ferdinand, many think these events which precipitated war were deliberately designed to do so. Like most conspiracy theories, when a tragic or significant event occurs, those who benefit from the event immediately become suspects who potentially caused it to occur. FBI wants both Kennedys dead, both Kennedys die, must have been the FBI. However, to be a good conspiracy, there has to be more evidence than motive, and in this case, it isn't there.
- djames82, on 10/12/2007, -7/+12She needs to stop talking - she needs to cram more food into her mouth.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -2/+7I hate saying this because I always enjoy seeing the different views of diggers when it comes to our current world military conflicts/potential conflicts but let's not direct this one into an issue of war.
What we need to focus on is how to get Rosie the ***** off of TV, out of papers and out of ANY position where she can make these statements and be heard.
I am a patriot of my country. That does not mean I always agree with what we do and I enjoy the freedom to disagree and even protest however, what Rosie does is disrespectful. She is no better than those "church" people going out and holding signs that say "God killed your child" at soldier's funerals. She is out for shock and awe for ratings and what is even more scary is that she probably believes what she says. To make matters worse, she is brainwashing the weak minded people that watch the shows she is on.
Let's all let ABC know how much we are disgusted with this woman and get her yanked from the air:
http://abc.go.com/site/contactus.html - waterboy1628, on 10/12/2007, -19/+24Rosie is a fat dumbass.
- legendary, on 10/12/2007, -2/+7I think, the main reason that Iran's doing these small things is too test the water. They want want to see how the British are going to handle the situation. If the British, handle the situation passively, Iran gets the sense that they can kind of push them around. Obviously, Iran is going to eventually give the sailors back to the British government. They will use this incident to base possible repercussions. If later down the road they do decide to create Nuclear weapons. I don't think they will create Nuclear weapons until after the 2008 elections because, if they create them now Bush will go to war with them.
- THX1212, on 10/12/2007, -6/+11"Why would Iran want to create an international incident? Doesn't fly. It's clearly a Gulf of Tonkin moment."
With a crumbling economy and an increasingly unpopular regime, Iran's theocrats need to deflect attention to a foreign enemy. Iran is banking on the notion that we don't have the resources to deal with them fully at this point. They may be right. - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -4/+8It is sad to see a once big career go down the toilet so fast. Well, it would be if Rosie was in any way, shape or form a sympathetic figure.
- THX1212, on 10/12/2007, -3/+7Please, for your sake and ours, take your medication.
- qasabah, on 10/12/2007, -25/+29***** Rosie O'Donnell. What an insult to the soldiers that are fighting and dying for freedom.
I don't care if you're for or against the she's a dangerous moron with no grasp on reality. - RezDuane, on 10/12/2007, -4/+7Let's see . . . Bush blew up the levies in New Orleans; Bush blew up the twin towers; Bush orchestrated the Brit sailors capture; The moon landing was actually filmed in a hanger in Nevada; Global warming is a product of man-made technology; Popeye and Bluto are gay lovers; the Illuminati and the CFR are planning on enslaving the common people of the world; JFK had Marilyn Monroe killed; O.J. Simpson is innocent; Hillary will be the next president; Rosie and Sean Penn got married and liberals finally get the "logic" thingy! We are living in exciting times!
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3"The things that will destroy America are prosperity at any price, peace at any price, safety first instead of duty first, the love of soft living and the get rich quick theory of life." - T. Roosevelt
That pretty sums up why America is dying. - ronk, on 10/12/2007, -9/+12What is wrong with you people. How did this story come to the front page??
This is all about publicity and a lame attempt at capturing ratings for her show... please don't fall for it.
Bury this... - fuzzmeister, on 10/12/2007, -16/+18We toppled its first democracy, which we had encouraged and helped in the first place. (If that isn't irony, I don't know what is) We then put back in place a Shah, the son of a brutal dictator, and guess what, he was a brutal dictator as well. Suffice to say, they have a reason to feel a bit of, well, animosity.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3She has a daytime talk show along with some other yapping yentas (Including a Weekend at Bernies Barbara Walters)
The danger is... Rosie speaks to an uninformed populace (the uneducated and unemployed sitting at home getting fatter by the minute... like her) and they are just stupid enough to believe her... - fuzzmeister, on 10/12/2007, -12/+14You assume that Iran's government is rational. It's hard to believe, but Iran's government is even less rational than Bush's. Do some reading on Ahmadinejad, and you'll quickly realize he's as much of a nutjob as they come. For instance, he claims that he has a personal line of communication with the 12th imam, and even had a highway repaved outside Tehran so that the imam (who has been dead for over 1100 years) would not have a bumpy return.
- qsqueeq, on 10/12/2007, -2/+4Donald? Is that you?
- spudnic, on 10/12/2007, -2/+4Why the does this woman's political views get airtime? I just don't understand it at all...
It's like asking your baker for dental advice. She's just some woman, she has absolutely no qualification to be talking about things of this nature.
I really worry about the standard of news over there in America - lysdexia, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Yes, it must be a hoax - that'll explain why the Iranian govt is joining in with comments rejecting the UK position. Because, clearly, they want to be attacked and setting up their own Gulf of Tonkin would obviously help.
Aye, right. I don't know who the ***** Rosie is (but I can see that AC/DC were right about her) but I do read about the terrible situation the captured are in. Maybe Rosie could wobble over there and scare them into handing the prisoners back. - Halbermunken, on 05/25/2008, -0/+1Captured UK sailors were not in Iraqi waters, British Documents confirm
http://www.globalresearch.ca/index.php?context=va& ...
The fact is the world is being sold another imperialistic PNAC war of aggression and choice. Tell me folks, how did operation ajax of 1953 end up? - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Actually I'd rather see her die in a revenge killing. Committed by Tom Selleck of course.
- ghostlywind, on 10/12/2007, -3/+4When did anyone cares what Rosie said. Wait let me think ......... i got nothing.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Someone needs to call up for some dirty deeds, done dirt cheap, on Rosie.
- yellowsnowcone, on 10/12/2007, -6/+6Actually, I think she raises some interesting points, certainly no less intelligent than some of the political comments on Digg and other message boards.
- crashflow, on 10/12/2007, -3/+3when they form the Committee for the Liberation of Iran, then i worry.
