- flohoff60, on 10/11/2007, -12/+328The rational and irrational......The blonde is actually scared watch her face. This is what war propaganda has done to Americans. she can't even think about what anyone else is trying to say.
- AKBryant54, on 10/11/2007, -15/+296I really just wanted the blonde to shut up, she had no idea what she was talking about. I almost felt sorry for her.
- SwordOfShannara, on 10/11/2007, -16/+243This Blonde chick is sooooo incredibly stupid and one sided it's so sad. She represents a (finally) shrinking minority.
- littlebylittle, on 10/11/2007, -17/+221Yes I think so. I never cared for Rosie all too much in the past, but my opinion has changed.
The woman has the guts to speak up on taboo topics. I admire that. - inactive, on 10/11/2007, -13/+178This is beautiful. I'm going to venture that this'll be a watershed moment, when America started thinking and talking again about what's really going on with our policies. Anyone else think so?
- 1013, on 10/11/2007, -10/+163The blonde, Elisabeth, is the type of American we should all fear.
- dukeeeey, on 10/11/2007, -15/+146no surprise then that people like O'Reilly wanted her gone
- redrock34, on 10/11/2007, -25/+146You ever notice that conservative women on TV are usually hot? Take Fox News' women anchors for example. I think these conservatives put hot women in place to help dilute the truth! Just a little observation...
- CraigB12, on 10/11/2007, -22/+137I hate watching uninformed people carry on unintelligent conversation. If you're going to talk politics you need have qualified people on both sides. Joy and Rosie are needless to say stupid, but that hot blonde is such a moron that she makes them look great.
@ DigitalOmnivore
I hate to defend Rosie, but you're an idiot. Rosie isn't part of the "America is always wrong" crew, she's part of the "War in general is a bad thing". There are other points of view other than your own, so step back and think before you spew your judgment of others. - voteforblank, on 10/11/2007, -8/+121What the 'dumb' blonde doesn't understand is that a whole generation of people have been brainwashed in other countries that we are EVIL - because of our Government sponsered terrorist actions to attack other countries.
You reap the fruit from which the seeds you sow... and we've planted some really ugly seeds around the world! It will take 30-40 years of policy change to stablize the reaction other's have towards us... many more years that that dumb blonde has been alive and been brainwashed by OUR Government!!! - bratpack8, on 10/11/2007, -3/+107While I don't agree with Rosie on 90% of the things that spew from her pie-hole, it's hard not to agree with what she had to say. For the first time, it appeared she was the one who was being calm and talked rationally. She said there are terrorists everywhere and in every government, which is true, including ours.
The blond is just the typical American, who hears about what is happening in the world for 10 minutes and thinks she's an expert. - rocke86, on 10/11/2007, -8/+102Dugg for Ron Paul getting positive coverage on TV.
- SleepParalysis, on 10/11/2007, -6/+91I feel embarassed and sorry for the blonde. Like flohoff60 has said, she can't even listen to the other argument and she can't stand to listen to fact and reason. I hope more and more people begin to realize that dissent is not treason. I'm very glad that the audience there was exposed to Ron Paul though and not in a slanderous and spun up way as he is on Fox news. Now I'll have to go and explain what Ron Paul was saying to my grandparents who insist on watching Fox news. It's pretty sick when the mainstream media can do things like that and get away with it.

Need I say more ?
Yeah I might as well.
The CIA helped Saddam into power.
"Simply put, Saddam Hussein's brutal reign was made by the USA. He worked for the CIA before be became politically prominent in Iraq. He was one of America's closet Mideast allies during the 1980s, and received substantial US military and financial aid.
When you hear references to his tyranny, his cruelty, the accounts are generally true -- he was one hell of a bastard. The 'unknown news', though, is that at the peak of Saddam's tyranny and cruelty, the Reagan administration didn't just tolerate having Saddam in charge of Iraq, they funded and armed his regime. He was America's ally, just like several of the world's most despotic bastards are America's allies now."

right, because different opinions on how the country should be means they hate america. - swifty383, on 10/11/2007, -4/+73The blonde woman seemed to think that Joy and Rosie were claiming the 9/11 attack was justified. I guess it would be unpatriotic to suggest that the US could possibly be wrong about something.
- PeterJS, on 10/11/2007, -4/+71To answer "what is this nation coming to?!" - Ron Paul seems to be striking a chord with more and more Americans, irrespective of their affiliations. His words and record make sense to a cross section of the population, a cross section which looks to be growing with each day. Perhaps he can bring us all together as Americans and not as Republicans, Democrats and Independents? Perhaps he really means to do good for us, the people? I think the nation is coming to realize that what Ron Paul stands for is what the promise of America is about. As corny as it sounds, a nation for the people, by the people. Whatever happened to that?
- skyfire1, on 10/11/2007, -6/+71That dumb blonde says the exact same thing my sister says. I wish I could punch her over the internet.
- Confuseus, on 10/11/2007, -10/+74who cares if she's pretty? she's a dumbass, doesn't that turn you off more?
this is what porn does to you. - brickbat, on 10/11/2007, -2/+60You know the world has gone to ***** when Rosie is the most intellectually challenging political show on tv.
- d00ley, on 10/11/2007, -3/+55"The blonde, Elisabeth, is the type of American we should all fear."
We should fear the people and systems that actively manipulate people like her. - brstilson, on 10/11/2007, -3/+55"5. Hates The Government That He is Part of
4. Thinks We Can Rationally Deal With Terrorists
3. Blames America First
2. Isolationist
1. Truther"
5 Reasons I hate you.
5. You think that the Government is infallible and above reproach simply because we are "at war," and hate anyone that tries to instigate positive change through the proper channels.
4. You believe Irrational reactionary police action will breed peace and stability, despite that fact that it has NEVER worked in the past
3. You refuse to believe that American foreign policy has no effect whatsoever. You think it is above reproach, and everyone that disagrees is a terrorist
2. You think a policy of non-interference is detrimental, despite it being the position of the people that founded this country, and the fact that deviation from our original foreign policy has not done one ounce of good, ever.
1. You use buzzwords created by Orwellian hate-mongers to clumsily insult people. - inactive, on 10/11/2007, -6/+58I almost spit out my coffee when I read this. And digg nation: our Ron Paul spamming of the fox debates seems to be really giving his campaign some momentum. Also that dumb blond was very funny trying to remember her talking points " uh they hate our freedoms right?"
- fancypantscz, on 10/11/2007, -2/+53I don't understand how anyone could entertain the idea that 'everybody' on digg thinks with the same mind. Beyond that, every individual is also allowed to shape and change their opinions as they see fit.
- thegnode, on 10/11/2007, -6/+56I agree. I really do feel sorry for that blonde. I am sure she believes everything she says.
- dukeeeey, on 10/11/2007, -0/+46if everyone is thinking the same
then no one is thinking at all - EntropyMan, on 10/11/2007, -8/+53Some men seem to believe that their penis has the power to make a dumb woman smart.
Ann Coulter is proof that this doesn't work, no matter how many people try. - jcarrion1976, on 10/11/2007, -2/+44* At a ICA meeting (Ignorant Conservatives Anonymous)
Jason stands: Hi, my name is Jason and I'm a conservative.
group: Hi Jason.
Jason: In 2004 I voted for Bush... God I'm so embarrassed... but there was no better option!?!
group: Hmm yeah, no better option.
Jason: But I have learned from my ways and have been studying libertarian views and the writings that influenced the original founders!
group: (claps hands)
The truth is if true conservatives would education themselves about what is going on with their country and study libertarian views I believe that many of them would make wiser decisions regarding who they vote for. Hell, many of them may change to libertarian. I did.
That's why I signed the petition for Ron Paul (see below). I don't give a crap if its connected to the RNC or even if Paul is under the Republican banner. The truth is that we need his voice out there. The more people hear his message the stronger this movement will become. In a era of disinformation and the flagrant destruction of our rights, this message must get through.
A lot of people like to rail against conservatives (with just cause) but if more of them become aware of whats happening around them and return to a constitutional mindset, then they will be a major force for positive change.
A true conservative truly loves this country. They love the constitution. They love the principals this country was founded.
The problem with love though is most of the time it's expressed as a feeling, and not acted out.
Emotion is a positive thing but also a dangerous thing when you allow yourself to be swayed by it without reason and logic and truth to back it up.
That is what has happened to the right. They have lost site of the truth. They have allowed moral beliefs and fear to cloud their judgment.
I don't want to keep on rambling here so I will draw this to a close. Study the original founding. Study the constitution. Study libertarian principals. And for peats sake, study what's really going on with the government and your rights.
The things I learned in one year blew away every preconceived notion I had about politics, government, big business etc.
It's your future. Live free or Die.
Petition for Ron Paul:
http://www.petitiononline.com/RPRNC08/petition.html - jron, on 10/11/2007, -2/+44Before this gets out of hand, I feel it must be said: Ron Paul is NOT part of the "9-11 truth movement." Please don't fall for the FOX news propaganda. Don't allow 9-11 to become a wedge issue. The real issue is foreign policy. Ron has been very clear regarding his stance on 9-11, simply take the time to read what he says... Ron is perhaps the only candidate who constantly writes what he believes. All of his ideas are out for the public to digest; Read what Ron has to say, not what the mainstream media tells you he has to say.
- AKBryant54, on 10/11/2007, -3/+43Well put, and I agree. I want them to invite Ron on the view, but I think it would be boring after a while without anyone intelligent to debate. Admittedly, any exposure is good, and the view reaches millions of people across the country.
- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -2/+41also @jsballardx
His support from both sides (ie the far right Pat and the far left Rosie) shows that people in America are sick of the status quo. - jktstance, on 10/11/2007, -8/+46That is one dumb blonde.
- rcomegys, on 10/11/2007, -6/+42The blonde chick (it'd be easier to hate her if she wasn't so hot) is really representative of people who back this war -- you can see it all in her argument, the one reason why she is behind Bush: FEAR. For many of us Americans, we grew up surrounded by two oceans, so far from the rest of the world and all its conflicts, with barely 200 years of history, where the rest of the world had thousands of years of history, war, and conflict, and all the lessons that came from that. I remember thinking when I was a kid that no one would ever attack America, because it's so far away from everything.
When September 11 came around, it scared the ***** out of a lot of people, and it certainly shocked everyone. Some people never got over it. It shook them in a whole new way, something that we've never had to experience before. It hasn't yet been 6 years since, and I think it's only natural that it's going to take time for people to cope with it. Especially when they're being mislead by the most powerful of political leaders. I think that Bush realized long ago that he can't fool everyone, but if he can fool that percentage of people who haven't healed since 9/11, he's got carte blanche. And it's working.
Please stop the US-bashing. Despite the majority of the country being opposed to the way things are being handled, due to the lingering issues of just how central the federal powers should be (again, the country, and thus the system, is relatively new), we haven't been able to do anything yet. No country is immune from choking on it's own legislative infrastructure. - inactive, on 10/11/2007, -11/+47Excellent exchange and I gained a lot of respect for Joy Behar after watching this and Elisabeth just made herself look even dumber but she is so damn sexy that its hard. Oh well Elisabeth you will have to learn. Rosie brought up state sponsored terror. I can't wait for the 24th when 'The View' will have Loose Change and other 9/11 Truth people on. Finally a show to talk about things on 9/11. Thank you Rosie!
- audiowizard, on 10/11/2007, -3/+39The curly haired woman is sorta dense too, unable to clearly articulate her thoughts, but at least she's trying....
goood...the blonde just HAS to make sure people know she believes there are 'terrorists'.....LOL no sh*t dumbie, the conversation has just moved on abit to a higher realm of thought, in which the blonde seems unable to traverse....so she falls back to 'THERE ARE TERRORIST!'.....sigh, yes, no go play with your dolls dear. - EntropyMan, on 10/11/2007, -2/+37Paul is not a Truther, despite that Fox said. I can't believe you fell for that propaganda. Or were you just lying again?
BTW, there _are_ valid reasons to not favor Paul for President. But none of them trump the notion that we have to return to the rule of law. - audiowizard, on 10/11/2007, -8/+43Why must the stereotype of 'dumb blondes' be so true on the View???
The blonde is HOT, but damn, someone please take her to school.... - reljin, on 10/11/2007, -5/+381. Rosie gained a lot of respect in my eyes.
2. The red-head is pretty smart.
3. The blonde needs to be an anchor on Fox News. - judgesuds, on 10/11/2007, -1/+34This is illustrative of the informed and the scared and uninformed.
- Karroog, on 10/11/2007, -9/+42Yay for dumb people being scared of not knowing what is actually going on. Yay for the smart who actually stand up for what is actually going on and what can be done to fix it.
Blonde chick is a tool.
Vote Ron Paul for 2008. - 15charmaxwtf, on 10/11/2007, -5/+361. He is not a "truther," all he has asked for is a proper 9/11 investigation.
2. He wants to trade and speak with other countries, how is that isolationist? Attacking other countries and making their populations hate you is isolating you from those people.
3. He blames American _Policy_. I guess you can't grasp abstractions.
4. He wants to rationally get the people who did the terrorism, not irrationally attack whole countries.
5. He tries to follow the Constitution, which the others should be. He doesn't hate the whole government (your inability to understand abstractions is showing through again.) - jizzatch, on 10/11/2007, -2/+32KMBZ radio in KC has banned Ron Paul and suggested the only way to get the ban lifted would be to deliver them a 1500 signature petition. They even went to the bizarre extreme of bleeping his name whenever it was mentioned on air. We need to make sure those signatures are delivered, and show them that they are wrong.
http://ronpaulfan.blogspot.com/2007/05/talk-radio-show-bans-mention-of-ron.html
I posted this article to digg, and it was promptly buried. - EntropyMan, on 10/11/2007, -1/+29If everyone thinks the same way, I'd expect to see only one comment per story with 2000+ diggs and no dissent.
And that would only happen on a story about Jack Thompson killing Linus Torvalds with a bloody kitten under the DMCA. - pintomp3, on 10/11/2007, -2/+28you sir are what's wrong with america. when 9/11 happened, the whole world sympathized and grieved for our losses. for you to say you don't care how many iraqi's die just highlights why we have lost all the sympathy and support after 9/11. while all life might not be equal, the death of an innocent iraqi civilian should carry the same weight as the death of an innocent american civilian. were you ok with the deaths of 9/11? it was collateral damage in a "justified" war afterall. justified being a relative term.
- brstilson, on 10/11/2007, -3/+27Neo Conservatism - fascinating. These people actually believe that terrorists hate us simply because we're a secular democracy, and not because of our foreign policy. Swear to God. Based on what? I asked them.
"Well we noticed that they're all muslims and their government has the religion mixed right in with it, so we figured the reason they hate us is because we don't mix the religion with the government as much"
Well how ***** scientific, okay. I didn't know that you'd gone to so much trouble. That's good. You believe they hate us for our way of life?
"That's right."
Okay, I got one word to ask you, a one word question, ready?
"Uh-huh."
Canada.
You know Canada is a LOT like us, similar secular government, democracy, etc. You'd think that at SOME point some big veiled woman with an AK-47 would be like "DEATH TO CANADA AND THEIR ***** BACON!!!!" - inactive, on 10/11/2007, -3/+27Is there anyone else running besides Ron Paul who wants us as a nation to stop running around the world kicking over beehives to collect more corporate honey?
- krebcycle, on 10/11/2007, -2/+25That dumb blond bitch sure said a lot of ridiculously stupid things.
Better? - brstilson, on 10/11/2007, -2/+24*sniffle* But....I did what you said Mr. O'Reilly. I repeated the same thing over and over again.....I even out-shouted everyone, but no one believed me!
- EntropyMan, on 10/11/2007, -2/+24If calling for a more complete investigation into 911 makes one a truther, then most of the country are truthers too.
I'd prefer to keep that label for people who think 911 was an inside job, which I personally don't know either way, because the evidence has been whitewashed. It took Bush 400+ days to initially appoint Henry Kissinger to head the 9/11 commission. Does that seem like an attempt to get the facts into the open?
No sane person can claim the evidence has all been put out there for the world to see what really happened. It's just not a credible position, no matter what you believe happened on 9/11.
However, by your definition, if everyone is a TRUTHER, then I guess that makes you a LIAR, B22. I can live with that. - DigitalOmnivore, on 10/11/2007, -4/+25Buchanan won NH in 1996 from Dole. He isn't that 'hated', except by liberals. What you should be asking is why is someone from the far right (buchanan) agreeing with someone from the far left (rosie)...and what does it mean for Ron Paul as a candidate in the General Election?
Could he easly get votes from both sides against a pro-war democrat like hillary?
