  • RTCA, on 10/10/2007, -0/+5I hope Ron Paul makes it to the primaries. The U.S. government needs a shakeup and it's going to take radical ideas from a non-mainstream candidate to make the needed changes.

    So...basically, if Ron Paul doesn't win the Republican primary...Hillary Clinton will be our next president.

    I guess the neo-cons have to choose between Hillary and Ron Paul sooner than they expected.
  • Skip742, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4I guess the point of this article is that grassroots campaigns can never win so we should just give up. Why do we ever imagine that we, the people, should be able to choose a candidate indepenently from the media and the money?

    Nonsense. I think everyone knows that it's always going to be difficult to elect someone from outside the mainstream, but that's no reason to give up. This seems like the perfect year for it.
