- cranium, on 11/30/2007, -17/+189Ghouliani speaks to a "sold out" crowd every time. "Sold out" their principles, that is.
- shadowspires, on 11/30/2007, -15/+137One of the reasons Ron Paul is able to talk like a candidate is because of us the supporters and the money we give him... Like he said it is about us not him.

http://www.teaparty07.com/ - slayerab, on 11/30/2007, -6/+112With millions more than John McCain has in reserve from grassroot support, and the responses he evokes at debates, I would cry bloody hell if he wasn't considered an official candidate. Whens the next big fund raising day for his campaign again?
- SailRacer, on 11/30/2007, -10/+108I think Paul is an interesting candidate. I've seen huge Ron Paul signs across Michigan's Upper Peninsula, which is typically conservative; and throughout the Saginaw, Ann Arbor, and Metro Detroit areas which are all typically pretty liberal. I think it's good that he's on the ballot. Whether he has a realistic chance or not, he's creating a lot of discussion which isn't a bad thing at all.
- falkonv7l, on 11/30/2007, -8/+95I just went to his site, and read the page on where he stands on the issues. I will have to say I like him the best right now.

- arcooke, on 11/30/2007, -11/+75It's not just Digg.. it's anyone that gives a flying ***** about this country. If you want to continue being spoon fed your presidential candidates, be my guest. Go ahead and vote for any other candidate and watch as this country goes bankrupt from the war, as thousands more troops and civilians die, as our country gets hated more and more, as the dollar plunges below the peso.
Have you noticed how we have a constant terror threat level? Have you noticed we rarely ever heard about that before 9/11 and the "war"? If we keep invading countries that ALREADY HATE US.. we're going to get ourselves into hot water. We might have more bombs and a better national defense than anyone else.. but it just takes one to get past our defenses and cause Hiroshima 2.0 in the US. - bffoley, on 11/30/2007, -37/+95This just in: Ron Paul had Corn Flakes for breakfest
- stephbangm, on 11/30/2007, -7/+64If the majority of Ron Paul supporters actually vote in the Primaries, we would most likely win. Even if only 5-8% of the public support Ron Paul like the official polls say, only about 5-10% of the population vote in the Republican Primary! That's why it's critical that we have to work hard right now. Just a few people could make or break this election!

He's the strongest on not regulating the internet - mezzanoitaliano, on 11/30/2007, -8/+47Who do people like you actually support? If all you have time for is bitching and complaining about other candidates, its no wonder that no other candidate has the grassroots support of Ron Paul.

Still laughing? Keep those donations rolling in y'all. - mugwumpz, on 11/30/2007, -4/+36He's certainly interesting as a candidate. He is NOT an ultra right-winger...he's libertarian. He believes, like many Diggers and many Americans, that the government has too big a role in our lives. He seems to be a principled man. I haven't donated to a political candidate for...well, I don't think ever...and I've already given this guy some money. I don't know if he's got a chance to win or not...but I do know weird things happen during elections...and I think it's way too early to count him out. At the VERY, VERY least, the longer he's in the race, the more he can force a level of honesty among the major candidates. It's too early for that now. He's just another fringe candidate...but if he wins some primaries, which I don't think it outside the realm of possibility, who knows??

- Battleloser, on 11/30/2007, -4/+35Who told you he's going to lose? CNN?
Why are they more believable than your peers? - SupremeThor, on 11/30/2007, -4/+34That's a very narrow worldview, and Dr. Paul has said that he doesn't understand many of the arguments concerning net neutrality. He is just against government intervention in general.

- philz, on 11/30/2007, -6/+35RP/CF for President!
- toasty168, on 11/30/2007, -13/+41don't forget to donate. words of support are nice but the reality is you need money to win. send what money you can. we may not get another chance to elect a candidate who hasn't sold his/her rectum to corporate america.
http://www.ronpaul2008.com/ - soulmantim, on 11/30/2007, -9/+35Yes considering the other Republicans can barely find any supporters without either buying them or sending them in from all over the country, it is.
- stephbangm, on 11/30/2007, -9/+35Ron Paul's also an official GOP nominee! We have to become delegates to get Ron Paul the GOP nomination; As delegates, we'll be picking the GOP nominee just like the electors in the electoral college pick the President; Delegates determine and decide who the GOP nominee is---it's that critical!
Become a Delegate or Ron Paul will NOT be President

. - sKiLLa182, on 11/30/2007, -5/+31Not sure if it's the "sold out" part so much as the "official" part. He's official on 2 ballots now. That's the news. Reading the article helps.
- fractalman, on 11/30/2007, -12/+36More worthy than your comment.
- spurtle, on 11/30/2007, -1/+25I think they want to break the $12 million goal today though.
- adgreene, on 11/30/2007, -6/+30thats great news!
- heartxorz, on 11/30/2007, -3/+26Why does supporting Ron Paul make someone a mindless drone? Have you been paying attention to the campaign at all? Ron Paul is the only republican candidate that isn't a cookie cutter copy of the current republican machine. His views are much more true to the original republican ideals and he fearlessly speaks his mind.
So, actually, I would think that someone who has been brainwashed into thinking that Giuliani, Romney, and Huckabee are viable presidential candidates would fall under the category of "mindless drone." - objectcode, on 11/30/2007, -8/+30that Ron Paul guy is not gonna win. lets all just vote for the candidate who is gonna win. turn your attention to fox news if you want to know who that is. war today, war tomorrow, war forever.
- yodaj007, on 11/30/2007, -1/+23I don't recall Bush ever saying he would get rid of the IRS, the Fed, reduce the size of the military, get rid of the social welfare programs, return rights back to the states, etc.
- Murdats, on 11/30/2007, -5/+27so whos dick are you sucking? hillarys?
- falkonv7l, on 11/30/2007, -1/+23Not totally, I am just starting to look at the candidates in detail, his so far seems clearest and he hits on more of the issues that I agree with.
- LeRenard, on 11/30/2007, -5/+27Some of you younger folks might not realize that there was once another "internet favorite" candidate who's buzz and following online were similar, and who's "grass roots" campaign started to threaten "more legitimate" candidates. It was Howard Dean. Take a look into how the press dismantled his campaign, eventually labeling him "crazy" or "unfit to be president" over one instance where he got really excited and started cheering really loudly. If they can derail someone over that, they are going to attack Ron Paul ruthlessly once he gets some serious press attention. Ron Paul supporters should be ready for it, and refuse to be swayed by the press.

http://www.teaparty07.com/ - jellygraph, on 11/30/2007, -12/+33What is it with some people who immediately swarm like flies on ***** simply to make stupid comments whenever theres any positive article about Ron Paul.
Ah, the glory of the internet...
Sometimes I wonder how much of the population still has a brain capable of having intelligent conversation and criticism.. - Reese268, on 11/30/2007, -4/+25I wonder how many of you idiots realize that calling people "Paultards" is stupid and ignorant. And I would imagine most if not all Ron Paul supporters are aware of his stance on net neutrality. Aside from why that is a bad idea (accepting 'good' government regulation means you must also accept 'bad' government regulation), it is also not the thing you should primarily be concerned with right now. There are far more pressing issues in this country.
- arcooke, on 11/30/2007, -5/+26What color was his bowl? Anyone?
- fractalman, on 11/30/2007, -5/+25just google Ron Paul and see for yourself. Self explanatory.
