Ron Paul's "Campaign for Liberty" is all over Minneapolis

westernstandard.blogs.com — Dubbed "Operation St. Paul," the goal was to raise funds and compile possible ads to place all over Minneapolis during the RNC. They have been successful. Here are a few images of the billboards and the "high tide" video (to view it, follow this link) that is now playing at the Mall of America:

    If you think Denver is bad right now, just imagine the clash to come when the hardcore Democrats cross paths with the hardcore Republicans!

    I'm expecting to see lots of Democrats protesting outside of the RNC in St. Paul,
    but not nearly as much action 8 miles away at the Rally for the Republic in Minneapolis.

  • inactive, on 08/28/2008, -0/+8The police in that region are not concerned with protesters at the freedom rally. They have made no provision to deal with protesters. They apparently are of the belief that even if all three protesters show up at once it will not be enough of a big deal and have not allocated resources to combat it.
    Contrast that with the massive show of force and use of force at the Denver convention and the "free speech zones" where they put protesters behind chain link fences with razor wire.

    Let's see John Edwards or Fred Thompson or some other non-nominee get 10,000 people together for some speeches and a rally. Not likely!

In fact, Sara Evans' people have reserved 3-4000 seats just for her performance; and those people will be leaving the event right after her set.
