- jdaniel284, on 01/08/2008, -34/+879Being on Jay Leno as the headlining guest was MUCH more helpful to Ron Paul than being just another one of the stuffed suits sitting around on the Fox News table taking turns puffing chests, raising noses, and smugly reciting campaign slogans. Jay was respectful and gave a good interview. When at every corner we are confronted by cowards and their shifty-eyed news agency cohorts, it is very welcome to see two men with dignity and class take the stage. Hats off to both Leno and Paul.
- swancher, on 01/08/2008, -24/+609A big thank you is in order to Leno for such a respectful, informative, professional, prolific and overall-well conducted interview with Dr. Paul. It's so refreshing to see Paul granted an opportunity to articulately describe his platform for us voters.
- jaymzdean, on 01/08/2008, -19/+327Leno Leans in: "We don't REALLY want that much change, do we?"
Ron Paul: "I think the American people want change."
Audience: [BIG APPLAUSE]. - toxicityj, on 01/08/2008, -14/+304Nice to see someone like Leno bring to light Fox News' *****.
- drose424, on 01/08/2008, -10/+292That's funny FOX did alot more damage than would have ever happened if they just let him in the debate. Sunday night debate vs. spot on Leno the night before the caucus. I think I can make a guess on which one any candidate would rather have.

They could have invited him to the debate and given him 5 minutes to talk like usual, but instead they excluded him and he gets undivided attention on Leno's show. And we wonder why Fox News doesn't understand the concept of "blowback" :P
- aliengoods, on 01/08/2008, -30/+218There's just one problem with Ron Paul. The man is too smart to be president.
- S3dative, on 01/08/2008, -50/+229Go Paul Go Kucinich Go Gravel '08
- muzaki, on 01/08/2008, -14/+190Great job by Leno and his team - I am excited to see Ron Paul take one of the top three positions tonight, he has a chance at even taking 2nd!
- S3dative, on 01/08/2008, -10/+180http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eLOGak7mYxE 2nd part
- chris9902, on 01/08/2008, -13/+178It's a sad day when Leno outshines Fox news for news.
- 8347, on 01/08/2008, -19/+155I truly believe Ron Paul is America's last chance at remaining a free country.
- cusoman, on 01/08/2008, -12/+145IMO, this guest spot was more influential and helpful to RP's campaign than any Fox debate he could EVER do. Fox News has certainly had this one backfire in a big way, keeping him out of the debate that is. Remember that there's still no Republican front runner and it's exposure like this that really puts candidates in a good light, look at what it did for Huckabee.
Forget Obama, the GOP race is where the *real* interesting stuff is starting to happen, and it starts tonight in N.H. - AnarkeIncarnate, on 01/08/2008, -10/+139He's too busy taking the one ring to Mordor?
- nedzalife, on 01/08/2008, -7/+123its great to see that Jay Leno had some journalistic balls and called FoxNews out for their BS in discluding all the candidates. and I agree with teku, its allowed Ron Paul to show case his platform in a more relaxed yet point driven environment.
- vawksel, on 01/08/2008, -6/+119I'd rather have a man too smart in office, than a man too dumb.
- Tyrghast, on 01/08/2008, -3/+114speaking of leno, his monologues have been much better now that he's writing them himself again
- rosullivan, on 01/08/2008, -7/+118Jay Leno gets +2 on my Respectometer for this. What a very great interview and shot in the arm for RP. Saw it live last night and was very pleased. Good job Jay!
- DrSpud, on 01/08/2008, -4/+114Perhaps. I, on the other hand, would say it's a typical day.
- krnldmp, on 01/08/2008, -17/+125Hmm. So much for Obama being the best choice for bridging party divides. Paul and Kucinich could show the world USA is still for real.
- BlacklabelSAR, on 01/08/2008, -19/+115A prime example of the intelligence level of those who smear Ron Paul.
- RepublicansSuck, on 01/08/2008, -12/+97Why can't Kucinich get this much attention?
- dumpyhumpy, on 01/08/2008, -4/+82I don't know how I feel about this new Ronpa guy.
- MWeather, on 01/08/2008, -6/+83If the last 8 years has taught me anything, it's that there is no such thing as being too dumb to be president.
- Necoras, on 01/08/2008, -2/+75Amen... "You're a republican" "I know, they're not"... Golden :)
- AnarkeIncarnate, on 01/08/2008, -2/+72It is a primary, not a caucus.
- Vinadetta, on 01/08/2008, -52/+121RON PAUL ROCKS!!!! NUFF SAID
- tman84, on 01/08/2008, -7/+70perfect time to go on the show, with the writers strike, Paul got a few extra minutes anyone else normally wouldn't get. Great to see Paul still spreading the message of Ending the War and promoting Freedom, including the importance of individual freedom.
- RandoTheKing, on 01/08/2008, -6/+69What bugs me is so many people are interviewing NH residents and most of them are saying they are undecided because all the other candidates are undecided and keep flip flopping. If these residents would have done a little bit of research they'd know Ron is the only one with 2+ decades of solid history that really shows what he stands for and that he DOESN'T flip flop.
- Neiby, on 01/08/2008, -5/+68Paultard definition: A term of derision used by the uneducated and weak-minded to describe the supporters or Ron Paul who are typically educated and rational thinkers who want their leaders to have substance and not just flowery rhetoric and empty promises.
- janeuner, on 01/08/2008, -1/+55And being funny?
- ZombieJoe, on 01/08/2008, -8/+62I hope Paul does well in the NH primary so that at least the media has to pay him more attention -- a Ron Paul success in New Hampshire can only mean good things for voters and Americans. I hope to see this GOP race continue to be tangled and messy, it's fun to watch and as long as it's messy, Paul will have a chance to spread his message.
- MikeFallopian, on 01/08/2008, -28/+81Go go self-contradiction '08.
- gypsie, on 01/08/2008, -8/+58Thanks Leno!
- tadisrad, on 01/08/2008, -7/+57tonightshowfeedback@nbcuni.com
This is the email for comments on guests. Drop them a line saying thanks - skyshock1, on 01/08/2008, -2/+49There was a point that I *THINK* he was hinting at as well and that is there is GOOD change and there is BAD change. I think Ron offers the kind of change America is after. But we don't need change just for the sake of change. We need change for the betterment of society as a whole.
- TheTaoOfBill, on 01/08/2008, -4/+51Yup breaking news from an admitted propagandist who likes to rile up supporters for his own cynical pleasure. Sorry but Jamie has no credibility to be making those claims.
Let's see. He claimed Ron Paul speaks in code to white supremacists. And we're the conspiracy theorists?! Wow.
Ron Paul voted against a ban on gay marriage. So he's not a homophobe.
Ron Paul claimed Martin Luther King Jr., Gandhi and Rosa Parks were his personal philosophical heroes leading him to believe that powerful change can be accomplished through non violent means. Yeah he sure sounds like a racist to me. Or maybe "Rosa Parks is my hero" translates to "kill all *****" in white supremacists code. - tman84, on 01/08/2008, -12/+56Don't feed them
- MrSketch, on 01/08/2008, -6/+49That issue came up over the holidays while watching the New Hampshire Republican debate. My family all agreed that he was the smartest one on the panel and that fact made him un-electable. Sad.
- SupaFurry, on 01/23/2008, -2/+41It's not too hard in a Republican debate. He's the only one not trying to appeal to rednecks.
- pyro138, on 01/08/2008, -4/+43I believe the common thread here is honesty and integrity.
- Teku, on 01/08/2008, -7/+46Was interesting, probably did a lot more for him then the fox news debate did for the other candidates. More mainstream, and alot more fluffy then a debate.
- rolf, on 01/08/2008, -4/+42Well, Paul did mention Kucinich as a friend at the end of part 2 of the interview.... and someone he respects on the Democratic side -- they agree on Foreign Policy and Civil Liberties -- just not economic policy. 2 out of 3 is better than 0 out of 3. So the ticket isn't as far apart as we think.
However, I'd like to see Alaska governor Sarah Palin as his VP. - RandoTheKing, on 01/08/2008, -5/+42Fantastic interview. Couldn't have gone better.
- fascistpig, on 01/08/2008, -3/+40RP isn't going to shove creationism down your throat. Huckabee will shove it down your throat and, to be sure he got it right, will pull it out from your ass. That's the difference. I'm not going to agree with Ron Paul on all matters, but he's the only candidate that WILL let me believe in what I want without taking away my liberty to believe in what I want to believe in. It bothers me that people are so focused on the black and white of everything that they fail to see the grays. The gray section is more substantial. You fail.
- ivandir, on 01/08/2008, -5/+41For whomever youtube is blocked.

- lvp1138, on 01/08/2008, -45/+78That is such a disrespectful comment. You should be banned. FROM SOCIETY.
