- jonmlm, on 12/24/2007, -2/+7Ron Paul doesn't believe in evolution. People need to know that.
- Dimensio, on 12/24/2007, -2/+6"First of all that theory is inconclusive"
Justify this assertion.
"and it has been shown through science just recently that the whole thing is a farce since they have not been able to prove it and have not found the "missing link"."
Your claim is nonsensical. Theories are never proven. That no one has been able to prove a theory says nothing about the theory. Your claim regarding a "missing link" is meaningless without context, and suggests that you do not actually understand anything about the theory of evolution.
"Third, if you believe you "evolved" from monkeys or pond scum please make sure that when you are on your death bed you do not ask for God to save you."
Your mean-spirited statement has no merit. - Adventeuer, on 12/24/2007, -2/+5I think I speak for everyone when I say.. you're a complete retard.
- jonmlm, on 12/24/2007, -0/+3Thank you for summing up Ron Paul supporters. Too easy.....

ahahahah you idiot - raymondmarble, on 12/24/2007, -1/+2Wow, you got dugg down hard, but I just wanted to comment to say largely, I agree. Though I'm in the Kucinich camp rather than Paul. But I agree that presumably, Paul said that to cozy up to the religious right. As and M.D., Paul must know full well that the bulk of modern medicine is based in evolutionary theory, and that all objective evidence bolsters modern evolutionary theory. You are right that there really is no feasible alternative. Evolution is both a theory and a fact.
But if I were a Paul supporter for Constitutional reasons, this would probably not deter me from voting for him. - jonmlm, on 12/25/2007, -0/+1uh, ron paul still has to work within the confines of this system. he doesn't believe in evolution. that's scary. he's a christian fundamentalist. scarier.
- jonmlm, on 12/24/2007, -0/+1A candidates belief in creationism would reflect on all those things. It's not a black and white issue. Bush talks to god about Iraq, why wouldn't Paul - now knowing this?
- Stettenbauer, on 12/26/2007, -0/+1Yea,typical of another Digg dummy ,more concerned about typos than content .
- danielforrest, on 12/24/2007, -1/+1an idiot for a typo?? thats easy. YOU and and Idiot for content. Or lack of. Say something or shut up. Stettenbauer is right. As long as Paul doesnt believe he should force his views on the World (like the current administration) then he gets my vote. BRING BACK THE CONSTITUTION!!!!
NO TAXATION WITHOUT REPRESENTATION!
RON PAUL 2008!!!!!! - rcasey99, on 12/24/2007, -2/+2Why?
- rcasey99, on 12/24/2007, -1/+1My concerns are: World War III, nuking countries, a draft, the collapse of the dollar, the merging of the Americas, the surveillance and police state which we live in, etc. Why should I care whether a candidate believes evolution is a fact or a theory? Seriously, why?
- PATSCRU, on 12/24/2007, -3/+3It goes even further! How bout some real (crazy) Ron Paul quotes?: "...The Christmas spirit, marked by a wonderful feeling of goodwill among men, is in danger of being lost in the ongoing war against religion.... The notion of a rigid separation between church and state has no basis in either the text of the Constitution or the writings of our Founding Fathers. On the contrary, our Founders’ political views were strongly informed by their religious beliefs. Certainly the drafters of the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution, both replete with references to God, would be aghast at the federal government’s hostility to religion. The establishment clause of the First Amendment was simply intended to forbid the creation of an official state church like the Church of England, not to drive religion out of public life. The Founding Fathers envisioned a robustly Christian yet religiously tolerant America, with churches serving as vital institutions that would eclipse the state in importance. Throughout our nation’s history, churches have done what no government can ever do, namely teach morality and civility. Moral and civil individuals are largely governed by their own sense of right and wrong, and hence have little need for external government. This is the real reason the collectivist Left hates religion: Churches as institutions compete with the state for the people’s allegiance, and many devout people put their faith in God before their faith in the state. Knowing this, the secularists wage an ongoing war against religion, chipping away bit by bit at our nation’s Christian heritage. Christmas itself may soon be a casualty of that war." Ron Paul supporters...you are supporting a Christian Fundamentalist who doesn't believe in one of the most important pillars of our democracy: the separation of church and state. His whole idea of a small role of the state is so that the state can be supplanted by "churches serving as vital institutions that would eclipse the state in importance" The founding fathers are rolling in their graves. There is no justifying that.
- danielforrest, on 12/25/2007, -1/+1Keep drinkin yer Vodka Patsy... I do not believe in god yet I support Ron Paul 100%. The reson being: I want to be free. Free to think what I want, free to SAY what I want and free to DO what I want as long as I dont hurt any others. This is what Ron Paul wants. He wants to give ALL OF US our rights back. Rights we had just a few years ago that are now LOST FOREVER unless we fight to get them back. Dont you believe in the constitution? Dont you believe in this "FREEDOM" that we are supposedly at war to "protect"? I SAY: PROTECT OUR FREEDOMS BY LETTING US KEEP THEM!!!
IF YOU SACRIFICE FREEDOM FOR SECURITY YOU DESERVE NEITHER AND LOOSE BOTH. RESTORE THE CONSTITUION, VOTE RON PAUL 2008!
Or forget what you learned about freedom and start practicing a new story to teach your kids about the rights of Big Brother and how he is there to protect us all... from ourselves. - Stettenbauer, on 12/24/2007, -2/+1Yea,why? and who gives a *****...It's his politics that are important
- Stettenbauer, on 12/24/2007, -3/+2Smear away sheepople....Personal views and political views are apples and oranges,(or at least they should be)been that way since politics have began..Even if that was true who gives a *****!!He can believe what he wants as long as he keeps his Pro Constitution views ,he gets my vote.Just keep your TV tuned into Fox and let the thinking up to the "paid in full "media and politicians.
- orian76, on 12/24/2007, -7/+2He is still the best candidate in the race. Like so many others in his position he's trying not to alienate the religious right (they are very sensitive). As far as evolution being being a theory that may be true, but there really are no other theories to compete with it, unless you consider the stories in the book called the bible but that is a story, and not theory.
- newbee70, on 12/24/2007, -9/+3jwharrison.com,
Don't you smaer attack dogs ever state the truth?. WHO is paying you to constantly attack people? State what candidate you are supporting before trying to smear anyone, so that everyone will have an understanding of what you are trying to do. - inactive, on 12/24/2007, -10/+2So what?
First of all that theory is inconclusive and it has been shown through science just recently that the whole thing is a farce since they have not been able to prove it and have not found the "missing link".
Second, it is irrelevant to run a country.
Third, if you believe you "evolved" from monkeys or pond scum please make sure that when you are on your death bed you do not ask for God to save you.
