- OptionsTrader, on 01/07/2008, -14/+67A president that will be the champion of the US constitution and a champion of the people. Read the federalist papers. Read the constitution. I'm sure Huckabee is a fine minister and McCain "looks strong", but what we need is a president that has a track record of reducing the size of government, increasing our liberty, and dedicated to stopping the murder and bringing our troops home from this foolish "global war on terror". Ron Paul is the leader that will truly bring peace. All of the others offer a different management style, not REAL change.
- sestalker, on 01/07/2008, -6/+50I was disappointed I missed the live broadcast but this was far more educational than the debate on Fox.
- Soriven, on 01/07/2008, -7/+47This is what presidential primaries should be all about! Not the ridiculous game shows we see on the mainstream networks...
- blar, on 01/07/2008, -9/+47This was 100X better than the fox "news" forum tonight.
Hope can come true,
Vote Ron Paul in NH and then nationwide! - Cryptocracy, on 08/17/2008, -6/+43Ron Paul talking and answering questions from regular people. Great stuff, this is honesty at work.
- DeepFriedFetus, on 01/07/2008, -5/+38I saw Rand in the background there...
Does anybody wonder about a future Rand Paul candidacy? - Minarchian, on 01/07/2008, -5/+31This is among the best speeches Paul has done.
I especially liked the last two minutes :) - cnot3, on 01/07/2008, -5/+28This was indeed much more insightful than the "debate" on fox.
- chupavacas, on 01/07/2008, -8/+30The man's a damn inspiration! I challenge anyone to watch this and not be swayed into agreement with him. This is the proper format to present his ideas. Debates are not well suited to his complicated answers. The issues are complicated and they require in-depth explaining. Ron Paul, thank you for running for President and educating us.
- Daiken, on 01/07/2008, -2/+24Good GOD people! Yes, we all love Ron Paul already but you're just preaching to the choir. Get out in the real world and rally up some votes for this guy in the primaries. If you haven't converted all your friends and family, how can you convert random people on the internet who don't support him yet.
- nlurker, on 01/07/2008, -4/+24Great video but the audio level is very low.
- Meiun, on 01/07/2008, -8/+28Freedom is never free. This fight will go far beyond this evening, but this was a good battle. Ron Paul, and the Revolution, will NOT be silenced. This is AMERICA, not Cuba or Russia! We must not let this afront to democracy stand.
- Hockey13, on 01/07/2008, -5/+24A plea to the non-economists of America and my Democrat friends:
Please investigate the monetary policy issue. Please ask why the top Democratic candidates don't discuss our failed drug policy. Please don't ignore these two issues which are at the heart of the racial and wealth divide in this country. Please, please, please don't pay lip service to the poor black community. The inflation tax and the drug war are immensely important issues for the poor, because the only people who can "beat" inflation are the ones with the means to invest and poor communities are ravaged by drug-related crime and criminalization through drug convictions. Even if you don't vote for Ron Paul, force your candidates to talk about these things.
-An economist - vat0r, on 01/07/2008, -0/+18Only because he believes that decision should be made at a state level.
- hollyberrry, on 01/07/2008, -6/+22I love Ron Paul. He captured my attention not too long ago, and I'm amazed by his message. More amazing is the many number of people that hate him. I just don't get it. I was going into this election year ho-hum, thinking all politicians are the same.... I came to Digg to get Ron Paul news, considering the news I usually, and still do watch, isn't giving him coverage. Where are the Ron Paul stories?? I'm looking for alternative news sources, here. I guess some of you don't like Ron Paul supporters, but I would say I'm just your average person. Maybe there are some bad ones out there, I don't know. If I up-mod Ron Paul stories, it's b/c I'm looking for more info on him. I'm not sure I'd even be voting if it wasn't for him.... I hope New Hampshire turns out for him and gives his message a voice.
- aussieNickuss, on 01/07/2008, -0/+14Youtube video view counts always take some time to update....and even then they seem to be rarely accurate.
- Soriven, on 01/07/2008, -1/+15I took a quick glance at your profile and.... you need to get out more ;)
- stephbangm, on 01/07/2008, -6/+20Ron Paul is so salient and enlightening when he speaks. We need to get him into office! That's why we all need to get out to vote! If the majority of Ron Paul supporters actually vote in the Primaries, we would most likely win. Even if only 5-10% of the public support Ron Paul like the official polls say, only about 5-10% of the population vote in the Republican Primary! That's why it's critical that we have to work hard right now. Just a few people could make or break this election!
Also, we have to become delegates to get Ron Paul the GOP nomination; As delegates, we'll be picking the GOP nominee just like the electors in the electoral college pick the President; Delegates determine and decide who the GOP nominee is---it's that critical!
Become a Delegate or Ron Paul will NOT be President

Approved by the Ron Paul 2008 Presidential Campaign Committee: Jeff Greenspan, Regional Coordinator - NSResponder, on 01/07/2008, -0/+13Fox didn't have a debate. They had a panel of posturing clowns.
-jcr - NSResponder, on 01/07/2008, -2/+14He sucks at arguing with morons like Giuliani. When he speaks without interruptions, he does very well indeed.
-jcr - nlevy, on 01/07/2008, -3/+15I think this is 7 articles about RP for the day.
- Facelessjoe, on 01/07/2008, -1/+12Actually, the stream ended up not working because too many people tried to watch it.
- knodi, on 01/07/2008, -3/+14Man with common sense in a world where common sense isn't so common.
- zalaz, on 01/07/2008, -8/+18Eloquent, intelligent, thoughtful, measured, reassuring and honest. He is a man who gives answers to very difficult questions our country has to face. We are a nation of so much potential, yet we are allowing ourselves to be dumbed-down. We have become so distracted and dependent that we will take ANYONE in charge. We are willing to have corrupt officials and corrupt government because we simply want "someone else" to take care of things. It is our apathy that is killing us. You may not love Ron Paul, you may not hate him, you may not even vote for him. But whatever you do, wisen up. You are an idiot if you are not educating yourself on monetary policy. You are a moron if you are not worried about the loss of habeas corpus. You are an imbecile if you think that the terrorists hit us on 9/11 because we are free. Wake up. Stop your overgratified, overcaffienated, multitasking, materialistic, shallow existence. It is not an accident that you have so much, yet you feel so empty. YOU KNOW there is something wrong. You can FEEL it within you. LISTEN to that feeling and learn. And then act. DO SOMETHING!!!If you don't do it for yourself, look around at any kid. If you have kids, if you have nieces, if you have nephews....FOR GOD'S SAKE!!!! We are going down the road of tyranny in plain sight and you are more worried about your next Starbucks fix. Wake up people. Please!
please. - brad3378, on 01/07/2008, -1/+11why are you still here?
- ostracize, on 01/07/2008, -0/+9Don't tax me bro!
- NSResponder, on 01/07/2008, -1/+10He did quite well tonight, and was able to deliver a very educational talk on a range of subjects.
-jcr - TWGMichael, on 01/07/2008, -5/+13It costs US taxpayers 1 billion dollars a week to keep troops in Iraq. It costs 1 trillion dollars a year to maintain over 500,000 US troops stationed around the world occupying allies like Germany and Japan. This is the American Empire. How can we afford to keep dumping money on the world in the form of military bases while New Orleans drowns, California burns and 12 million illegal immigrants pour across our borders? Bring those troops home. Bring that money home.
- latrosicarius, on 01/07/2008, -8/+16At the moment this youtube video has 719 views and 1029 ratings. Interesting.
- inactive, on 01/07/2008, -0/+8You watched through the entire video? I would find him very hard to disagree with
- burnin8, on 01/07/2008, -2/+10How old are you?
- superflyguy, on 01/07/2008, -0/+8Yes, the man who steadfastly opposes militarism and torture, who would close Guantanamo Bay and repeal the PATRIOT act, and who opposes corporate welfare in all its forms, is a "little on the fascist side."
It's time to get a dictionary, buddy, because I don't think that word means what you think it does... - irvin666, on 01/07/2008, -6/+14You see a lot of Ron Paul articles because a lot fo people want to see articles like this.
Only the majority rule. say, much like the 2008 elections! - cswake, on 01/07/2008, -0/+8I'm a Paul support and I think this is a valid critique. His ideas are head and shoulders above the rest, but he could definitely use a speech coach.
- retard18426, on 01/07/2008, -0/+7Yes, he wants to overthrow Roe v. Wade, but it isn't an attempt to outlaw abortion. He wants to turn the issue over to state governments, rather than having it determined on the national level.
- harrisyw, on 01/07/2008, -0/+7I was there at the speech today in Manchester. Ron Paul is Amazing!!!!!
- sestalker, on 01/07/2008, -0/+7Look, regardless on where you stand on abortion, Ron Paul wants the Federal Government out of subsidizing abortions. Let the states set up their own programs.
- AgentBlu, on 01/07/2008, -1/+7Enjoy the draft.
- S1ngular1ty1, on 01/07/2008, -0/+6So. I just thought I'd say that.
- rivasj, on 01/07/2008, -3/+9Tough to ignore, huh? Good. We will stop when you VOTE RON PAUL IN '08!!!
- inactive, on 01/07/2008, -0/+6 Ron Paul at Manchester Town Hall Part 2: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8VQcpmfT0f4
- InorganicMatter, on 01/07/2008, -9/+14Look, I support Paul and will be voting for him even if I have to write him in, but this is getting insane. It seems like any more an article need only have "Ron Paul" in its title to get front page'd on Digg. It's approaching the insane, and you guys really need to stop it.
- S1ngular1ty1, on 01/07/2008, -2/+7I'm sure you would do better. *rolls eyes*
- blackphiber, on 01/07/2008, -0/+5http://voters.ronpaul2008.com/grassrootscentral.te ...
become a precinct leader and do your part in making sure all of the Ron Paul supporters are able to get out and vote.
Talk to people, find out what issues are important to them and spread the message.
Now is a good time to get some slimjims and do a literature drop.
Cheers! - DeadPain, on 01/07/2008, -13/+18Is there any way to filter a word or words (say, Ron Paul) out of a rss feed?
- OnGard4Liberty, on 01/07/2008, -1/+6Maybe he can join the Free State Project and run for governor!! :-)
http://www.freestateproject.org/intro/ron_paul - cphelps, on 01/07/2008, -0/+5Of course he/she didn't watch the entire video. They were too busy building a shelter after watching Ghouliani's newest ad.
- KennMac, on 01/07/2008, -2/+7All he does is search RP stories and pick arguments with people by slandering them with no real foundation. Guaranteed he'll reply to this thread with something like...
"***** you, you dumb *****. Go wear your tinfoil hat you *****." - Coded1, on 01/07/2008, -0/+5I was going to pick apart your BS on Paul's immigration but then I clicked on your user name. Wow buddy, spam? you talk about spam? you posted the same comment above for the last week now to almost post with the words Ron Paul in them. Your not doing anything but bitching and whining. What I would like to see Mr Paul do is to do a real debate, I would like to see how he reacts to someone who isn't a quiet audience member. He brings up many excellent points, I was not aware that the federal reserve system has been taken out of power 2 times already in US history by two US presidents. Any way Mr. Paul talked about immigrants in his town hall and he still says immigrants are not that big of an issue, the reason he gives is that since the economy is suffering people see immigrants as some one who is taking bread from their table. He also says that once he fixes the economy people will be making more money and immigrants will be able to find those manual labor jobs getting off of welfare and lowering cost of the products produced by their labor.
Any way I don't want to get in the way of you spamming the rest of digg so hope mommy and daddy got you what you wanted for Christmas and I hope the basement situation is working out for you. - ChanceLonestar, on 01/07/2008, -0/+4This was so entertaining, money well spent donating to his campain!
