That's just not going to fly. You can't say that Osama Bin Laden is right about anything. - inactive, on 10/11/2007, -5/+6Winning? He just ended whatever chance he had to be a factor in the primaries when he said that he would cut the Department of Homeland Security in the middle of a war. That comment is going to haunt him for as long as he lasts in the primaries which won't be long. He'll never carry the south or the midwest after that answer.
- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -5/+5This is the last prez. debate ronpaul will ever see. Buh bye spammers!
- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -0/+0That's because I buried it with my botnet, just before it reached the frontpage.
Hahahaha sucker! - inactive, on 10/11/2007, -4/+4That comment was the death rattle of the Ron Paul campaign. He's done. He'll have to run as a Libertarian now and settle for his less than two percent showing.
- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -5/+4He's done. He just went down in flames.
- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -3/+1Did you mean down in flames, or did you mean rising like Olympus above the Serengeti?
- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -2/+081 and counting! Meanwhile pro-Guiliani stories get to the front page with 20 Diggs is MORE time! Pro-Guiliani stories get on Digg's front oage all the time!
- PBronstein, on 10/11/2007, -5/+2Yes cut Homeland Security, all it has become is a profit center for corruption and bureaucracy. It couldn't even act at a disaster where we know the where and the when ahead of time, as opposed to a terrorist attack where we don't know those answers. When has throwing money at it and hoping it sticks ever worked? You need to create an efficient system and all government agencies defense and domestic are hurting because of this gross inefficiency. We had all the pre 9/11 info we needed and couldn't put it together because we were incompetent, not because federal agencies were hurting for cash, with the exception of HUMINT in the Middle East, but that is not what Homeland Security is all about. The Domestic waste is astounding, it is a big trough.
- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -5/+2And then your employer Rudy Guiliani made a fool of himself by trying to correct Ron Paul!
- samschoice, on 10/11/2007, -5/+2Ron Paul had a good response to Guiliani. Guiliani seems to think we can do whatever we want in the world without any response. Ron Paul was simply pointing out that you can't put missles near russia, and push the world around without inspiring some sort of hate.
I am annoyed that after the debate Fox news seemed to "dumb" down Ron Paul's response into some sort of nonsense that Al-queida attacked us because we bombed Iraq. Ron Paul didn't pin 9/11 on that specific even per se, he just used it as an example.
If you love peace, but a strong national defense (not offense) continue to support Ron Paul for pres. - Smoove, on 10/11/2007, -4/+1Bah--you're a whackjob. Everyone knows that 9/11 happened because they hate our freedom. They want to bring back the middle ages and set up an islamo-fascist one-world state. They're animals who only understand force. Towel heads! Camel jockeys! AAARGH!
If only Paul had called them "dune coons." Then Herkimer would change his mind and vote for them. - inactive, on 10/11/2007, -5/+1The only reason why this may be Ron Paul's last debate is becuase the other candidates will be so afraid of Ron Paul that they will already have declared Ron Paul the winner and everyone but Ron Paul will drop out, thereby giving Ron Paul the nomination tomorrow. You wait and see. That will happen.
- ThomasPaine23, on 10/11/2007, -4/+0Frankly Paul told the truth. Actions like 9/11 don't happen in a vacuum. The only question is can the
American Public (and the Republicans in particular) understand and deal with that truth. I'm betting they can't. I still support Paul though, and will do what I can.
Please let me be wrong, Go Paul! - inactive, on 10/11/2007, -5/+045 Diggs on not on the front page! Kevin Rose is paid for by Guiliani!
- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -6/+0No! Winning! He's Ron Paul!
(And you have to admit this very fact. He is JUST as likely to be a factor in the primaries now as he was 2 hours ago. Similar to how Jerry Falwell is just as likely to win Wimbledon this year as he was last year.)
