- HowieHardcore, on 10/22/2007, -28/+318They're going to have to move right on past ridiculing him and onto more drastic measures because Ron Paul uttered the BIG TABOO last night: "Israel has 200-300 nuclear weapons." Uh oh. The censors at Fox weren't on the ball last night. That'll teach them for having a live debate.
- Skip742, on 10/22/2007, -19/+299Did anyone else notice that the first time Dr. Paul was allowed to speak was a full 34 minutes into the debate? By then, Romney and Giuliani had each gotten to speak 3 times. Talk about bias! It's sad. To think, I actually used to watch Faux News.
- ophello, on 10/22/2007, -23/+228Hate: Fox News
Love: Ron Paul - mntalkase, on 11/08/2007, -11/+207Okay... that's it. I'd had enough. I just gave $50 to the Ron Paul campaign. It's small, but it's a start. I'll give more each month.
I'm a life-long Republican, but I'm sick and damn tired of the current machine in control. Enough of the Bush admin, enough of Fox News, enough of this Neo-con *****.
Go Ron Paul, Go! - DarkSaturos, on 10/22/2007, -10/+143He did win, even though the FOX people were jerks to him. Go Ron Paul!
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -12/+142And as many people are digging this comment down as are digging it up! Thank you israeli bury brigade. I hope you caught the after debate interviews. He shot hannity down with the 50% of the insurgents are saudi's, so why don't we attack saudi arabia? :) Yeah, and all but four of the 9/11 hijackers were saudi's as well. They just can't keep letting him tell the truth. He must be stopped!
- SilentSpyder, on 10/10/2007, -5/+132That's why I stopped watching these debates. It's so obvious they give the top3 candidates the most time. I hate to sound like a conspiracy theorist but the media is choosing out direction and the corporations own the media.
- delafere, on 10/10/2007, -4/+112That's not a conspiracy theory. That's just simple logic.
- insomniac8400, on 10/10/2007, -1/+108What boggles my mind is that Ron Paul is the only Republican candidate that supports smaller government.
- felchdonkey, on 10/13/2007, -8/+114I've been looking at things like money raised, visits to their sites, etc., and everything is pointing at two candidates: Ron Paul and Barack Obama. I think the media might be surprised once the primaries start happening.
Polls tell you what people say to strangers on the phone or in the street, but actions are more reliable. Remember, the exit polls had Kerry beating Bush in 2004. - bobbilljoe, on 10/10/2007, -14/+110Ron paul for president!
- delafere, on 10/10/2007, -4/+99Does the hyena hate the wounded gazelle? Does the shark hate the fish? Does the vulture hate the roadkill?
Neocons don't hate the US. They have no feeling for you whatsoever. Neocons are feeding. Don't vote for neocons. You are their prey. - kethraal, on 10/22/2007, -12/+107"Someone show me why I should give a damn about Ron Paul."
Three reasons:
1) PATRIOT Act
2) War in Iraq
3) Private control of currency
Right now, we have all three. With Paul, we wouldn't.
Simple, no? - inactive, on 10/10/2007, -5/+98We're making progress! I just heard glenn beck's fascist neo-con radio show and he spent an hour trying to find reasons why people should hate ron paul. He seemed to be taking the libertarians are evil and smoke weed angle. Yes, Ron Paul is not a genuine conservative (the only one in the race). He's obviously a smoker of pot. Come on guys, you have access to the best PR firms in the world and this is all they can think up?
- maz2331, on 10/10/2007, -2/+91Guliani's laughing and disrespect did it for me. I sent my first donation right after the debate too.
- inactive, on 10/22/2007, -20/+109Why do neocons hate the US?
- echtas, on 11/08/2007, -5/+82I am upset of the ones who like Ron Paul but do not promote him because they do not think he would win. They just give up promoting him. Look, he won because many continued to promote him even though others think he would probably not win. Keep promoting him!
- delafere, on 10/10/2007, -2/+75The exit polls were accurate for DECADES until the last two elections. Did elections change? No. The voting apparatus changed. Think.
- tnoy, on 10/10/2007, -2/+70The internet is going to play more of a role than the media this election than ever before.
- PeppermintPig, on 10/10/2007, -1/+67He was allowed to respond to the question of Fred Thompson not debating, and said it was good for him, but yes, it took about half an hour before they even began to ask him real issues questions, and the post interview for him was done later in the evening. Perhaps hoping people would nod off? Whatever the case, he did fine in that debate. Giuliani had opportunities to speak early, both during and after the debate. His microphone giggles didn't help him at all.
- Mercifool, on 10/10/2007, -3/+67I have NEVER voted republican, and I usually disagree with everything they say except the 2nd amendment stuff that allows me to keep my AR 15 and high capacity magazines.
But DAMNIT Ron Paul has me by the balls, The only thing I've heard about him that I didnt like was that he is anti abortion, but that will not stop me from voting for him. - inactive, on 10/10/2007, -1/+58Yeah I loved that part too.
Hannity: Hey hay now you can't just go around making stuff up. Everyone knows there's no such thing as a Saudi. - spawnfree, on 11/08/2007, -4/+56first they ignore you, then ridicule you.
then they Kill you.
If Ron knows what he is up against, and what they are prepared to do to create their empire of dirt, then he is the bravest American of this decade. - inactive, on 10/10/2007, -3/+51I don't care what party he is in, but i will vote for him based on what he believes in. Ron Paul will save america!
- 23smokey, on 10/22/2007, -1/+46I can't find video of the entire debate. Is youtube taking it down? Only Ron Paul footage is available... I know its morbid, but I want to watch the whole thing again. I'm especially interested in video of whoever it was giggling every time RP spoke.
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -2/+474) government getting into your wallet
5) government getting into your health privacy
6) government getting into your bedroom privacy
7) government trouncing on State Rights
8) government using secrecy to the point of absurdity
9) government passing bills to steal more of your Rights away
ad nauseum - WRXFiles, on 11/08/2007, -4/+48I have donated $100 to his campaign, and I can't vote in this election as I don't even live in the USA!
I may not agree with all he believes, but I respect his integrity - Go Ron Paul! - DangerCollie, on 10/10/2007, -8/+50And guess who supplied those nukes? I'll give you a hint: It wasn't the Russians, French, British or Chinese. Who does that leave? Big country....lots of nukes....it'll come to you.
- nairanvac, on 10/10/2007, -1/+42Yes. So ***** disrespectful. Pretty much every time Paul hit the mic, his little fake, sarcastic giggles came out.
- StarlessKnight, on 10/10/2007, -4/+45It'll stop after November 2008.
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -0/+41Whether what you say is true or not is besides the point. What matters is to fight for what you believe in. It's a defeatist attitude that gives up because there might be a chance he won't "win".
- DrOBoogie, on 10/10/2007, -8/+47Now this is the story all about how,
My life got flipped, turned upside down,
And I'd like to take a minute, just to tell y'all,
How I came to support the presidential campaign of Ron Paul.
In Lake Jackson, Texas born and raised
In the GOP is where Paul spent most of his days,
Chillin' out, maxin', relaxin' all cool,
And cutting funding to the public schools.
When a couple of neocons who were up to no good,
Started makin' trouble in the neighborhood.
Paul pwned one little debate and the RINOs got scared,
And said "He isn't really a Republican and he doesn't belong up there. - inactive, on 10/10/2007, -4/+43Now that's some funny ***** right there. It shows everyone at digg has some sort of agenda. :)
- inactive, on 11/08/2007, -1/+40Ron Paul said that after abolishing the military industrial complex which costs 1 trillion dollars a year he would put that money to education health care and securing the boarders
- wvstephens, on 11/08/2007, -3/+40Ok you all say you would vote for Ron Paul, well put your money where you mouth is change your party to Republican so that you can vote for Dr. Paul in the primary. If you don't do this he will never even have a chance to run as president. When polling time comes you will have to vote for your party, and if you are not republican who will you be voting for? You won't be voting for Dr. Paul
- borninda818, on 10/10/2007, -0/+36I support Ron Paul. Peace over Profits.
- itsme92, on 10/10/2007, -6/+41There are some issues more important than Net Neutrality
- feebie, on 10/10/2007, -2/+36No, and let us have our own opinions you Fox News cronie.
- pricees, on 10/10/2007, -4/+37I am a straight man but I have to tell you, RON PAUL GIVES ME A GIANT CONSTITUTIONAL BONER!!
- Pureeviljester, on 10/10/2007, -1/+34Ron Paul is first and Gravel second. he would be first but Ron Paul uses more sources when explaining his positions.
- tnoy, on 10/10/2007, -3/+36He is pro-"there will never be a federal law banning abortion, nor will there be federal subsidizing of abortions." If he has his way, you'll always be able to get that abortion, but never be able to have the government help pay for it. The helping pay for it, would be through private or public companies like Planned Parenthood.
- borninda818, on 10/10/2007, -2/+34I know exactly what the Neocons are thinking because if I think about it I am in the same position. I own a CNC Machine shop and most of our work come directly and indirectly from the Government. We make hundred or thousands of parts (often airplane and gun parts) every week. If Ron Paul wins and all of a sudden there is no war, My profits go WAY down. Granted I have other customers beside the government, but still. These guys are in it for the money. They have all their money invested indirectly into war and they need war to fill their pockets.
- latpack, on 10/10/2007, -0/+32It goes to show that American people CAN make a difference, but they'll have to try a lot harder now than they have before.
Diebold can only do so much. - azbmr, on 10/10/2007, -0/+32You should know that he may be against abortion, but he is REALLY against the federal government saying one way or another. He believes that the federal government can't say it is legal or illegal.
- inactive, on 11/08/2007, -3/+35All of you Ron Paul fans are wasting you breath. Whining and crying on Digg about Fox News and their bias will not be enough to make a change. If you want Ron Paul as president, it's going to take a revolution! So get off of Digg, get off your lazy asses, and get involved http://www.ronpaul2008.com/get-involved/
- Corrosionx, on 10/10/2007, -2/+34Net neutrality is just government interference in the internet to fix a problem that doesn't even exist yet. Ron Paul is for more free market competition in ISPs and against government-granted monopolies (which are the real problem to begin with), that should be reason enough to support him.
- faithfreedom, on 10/10/2007, -1/+33His anti-abortion is his personal belief. And he tried hard to not impose his view onto others.
- Pureeviljester, on 10/10/2007, -3/+34maybe he wasn't the only one given lesser time. but he was the only one laughed at while they were asking him a question.
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -1/+31More like the coma candidate
- PeppermintPig, on 10/10/2007, -1/+30Win or lose, champions of liberty are always champions.
