- RonPaulNews, on 05/23/2008, -77/+38050,000 patriots in Oregon!
- freedomwv, on 05/23/2008, -53/+254This is good news indeed. There is a hunger for liberty in America.
- inactive, on 05/23/2008, -30/+169I see the usual haters are here trying to pretend Ron Paul is not a good and decent man.
ALL of the TNR crap has been completely debunked which is probably why those links go nowhere that the haters put up.

Nobody who has read the article can claim that Ron Paul is anything but a good American and friend to his fellow man.
Only someone who is completely ignorant of the truth and the facts could post otherwise. - inactive, on 05/23/2008, -19/+121I am a bit perplexed as to why some people are afraid of reading an article. The article I have posted links to has all the proof anyone would ever need to debunk the bizarre accusations from tnr. Even the tnr editor said he does not believe those things were written by Ron Paul.
Ron Paul has been consistent. Ron Paul has served his country and his district with distinction and honor. Ron Paul has been consistent in his principled votes and nobody who has investigated his career has come away thinking he is dishonest. He is the only candidate to have returned part of his office budget back to the Treasury. The others have never returned a dime.
Now as long as some people refuse to read the article that debunks the tnr accusations they will continue to look like fools.
The reason Ron Paul was given the nod of more than 50,000 people in Oregon is because they know he has what it takes to get our country back on the right track.
The Senators will continue the path we are on and that leads to a bridge out.
I have been asked numerous times why I support Ron Paul and the answer is always the same. He is the best candidate for president and the only one that can be trusted to do the right thing.
As his book keeps selling and stays at the # 1 best seller slot we know more people are starting to see the light.
Oh I know the lamers and haters and political cowards will always try to pretend there's something wrong with Dr. Paul but what they can't do is stack up any other candidate to Dr. Paul.
They don't even try. - StingingNettle, on 05/23/2008, -33/+123He still has more money than McCain. I heard on NPR the other day that people are not donating to McCain like they thought they would by now. Its looking bad for him. How funny would it be if Paul brought in more donations going forward.
- inactive, on 05/23/2008, -39/+128The media has told everyone Ron Paul is out of the race and he still gets significant numbers of voters. If McCain were a real strong candidate that would not have happened.Just think what the totals would be if there were fair reporting and equal time.
Of the announced candidates only Ron Paul has a book #1 best seller with orders coming in faster than they can print them.
If you want politics as usual support a Senator. It doesn't matter which one. - Ghoztt, on 05/23/2008, -22/+105MMmm... free market....
Fight the good fight, Ron. I'm still voting for you! - govsucks, on 05/23/2008, -28/+107WOW,some people in Oregon actually believe in freedom.
- thedrizzle21, on 05/23/2008, -7/+81The numbers of morons in this country is astounding, and I'm not talking about the Ron Paul supporters. I'm talking about all the idiots who jump on bandwagons and don't read anything, the retards who repeat the same rhetoric without listening to why it's wrong and the dumb asses who can't form a valid argument for or against any candidate, yet are still allowed to vote for president.
There are so many of you who don't understand how the government works or politics and you just blather on about mindless ***** which you heard somewhere else. The worst part is you're too self-centered to realize how wrong you are about everything.
Wake up, the candidates aren't the problem. The stupid, mindless voters are the problem. - TruthExposed, on 05/23/2008, -19/+91"If you want politics as usual support a Senator. It doesn't matter which one."
Very good line, I think I will use it. - JohnGalt72, on 05/23/2008, -15/+86Ron Paul is so squeaky clean it makes the Neocons wet their pants in anger and resentment.
- mattowan, on 05/23/2008, -10/+70Amazing that Ron Paul AND Barack Obama are both so popular on Digg when they are completely different politicians. One wants the government to be 100% hands off except when it comes to direct domestic security the other wants government to control every single aspect of life and tell us exactly what we can and can't do. Strange.
- TheWorm, on 05/23/2008, -9/+57"15% is enough to establish a majority opinion"
That statement should never be followed by "we are winning back reality" - V3n0M, on 05/23/2008, -16/+56Most Ron Paul supporters I know are true conservatives that don't like the liberal neo-con agenda, converted Democrats that don't like the war, or Independents that value integrity and substance over politics and false hope.
Whichever the case, John McCain never would have gotten those votes in the first place. - inactive, on 05/23/2008, -23/+61The link leads to nothing and the tnr crap has been completely debunked.
Ron Paul has been and will continue to be a good and decent man whose love for his fellow man cannot be denied.

- homah, on 05/23/2008, -20/+56Hello friends, this message is for the anti-Ron Paul posters. Can you please come up with a nickname for us other than Paultards? I feel it is lacking in creativity. Please post your nomination in this thread. Thank you and have a lovely evening.
- noahgelman, on 05/23/2008, -12/+47thats over NINE THOUSAND!!!!!
- Hoogs, on 05/23/2008, -22/+53Haven't seen Ron Paul on the front page of Digg in quite awhile. Good to see he's not COMPLETELY forgotten.
- imgstacke, on 05/23/2008, -8/+39He does if he wants the win the general election. Or do you not know how the election process works?
- madfrogurt, on 05/23/2008, -5/+32Paulistinians.
- inactive, on 05/23/2008, -17/+44Given the fact Dr. Ron Paul is the most educated candidate your comment is buried.
- Auraness, on 05/23/2008, -6/+31Oregon is a hell of a state.
- ElectricC0wb0y, on 05/23/2008, -9/+33I'm a Ron Paulite, but he's winning at a losing game...
- TacticalPenguin, on 05/23/2008, -4/+28Thats because Paul knows he can't win and is simply proving a point; Clinton still thinks she can win.
- inactive, on 05/23/2008, -4/+26Obama says the rest of the world will not allow us to drive SUV's, eat all we want, and put our thermostats at 72 degrees.
That has to scare some people and anger others.
The reason Obama is so popular on digg is because he is different than your typical leftist liberal in that he has promised to do everything for everyone.
Ron Paul is popular because he has shown us the reality and what we must do in order to right the listing ship of our great Nation. He is honest and genuine as well as principled and educated.
I have areas of disagreement with him but none are so great I would choose a leftist liberal lawyer or one of the Keating Five.
I know people who lost money in Lincoln Savings and Loan and they will never forget - Todash19, on 05/23/2008, -13/+34Oregon is one of the most liberal states, with Portland being more liberal than any city in the country. Portland is known as "the Amsterdam of America".
They have had their work cut out for them. - StingingNettle, on 05/23/2008, -4/+25This is about changing the Republican party. And it is changing. Enjoy your McCain love fest all you want. The guy isn't going to beat Obama.
- Infidelcastr0, on 05/23/2008, -1/+20Your name is appropriate, You want a NEOCON to beat the "DIRTY LIBS" and you are pissed that the only actual conservative left in the republican party is going to ruin it for JOHN MCCAIN? For god's sake man, at least learn what liberal, conservative, and neoconservative mean, and what John McCain stands for, before shooting your mouth off.
- nkleffman, on 05/23/2008, -12/+31Wow, so many insults and hate towards those that support Ron Paul's message.
Ron Paul is one of my heros: I've donated money to his campaign for all the money bombs, I've handed out literature, and I've been active in my local meet up group.
And guess what - I knew from the beginning that he didn't have a chance in hell of becoming the next President.
So why did I "waste my time"?
Because Ron Paul's campaign has been a HUGE SUCCESS in spreading the message of Liberty, Personal Responsibility, a Constitutional approach to Government, and Sound Money; amongst other values that this country was founded on. He is the only one that represents the philosophy of the founding fathers - the only one that believes in the true American Republic and it's Constitution.
None of you that insult RP supporters argue the policies, you just name call. You should see how ignorant you look. - nakani, on 05/23/2008, -2/+20"One wants the government to be 100% hands off except when it comes to direct domestic security"
We just want to follow the Constitution. - WiseWeasel, on 05/23/2008, -1/+19That McCain is ***** if he's being out-raised by someone getting 15% of the party's vote...
- inactive, on 05/23/2008, -8/+25Completely debunked
http://digg.com/politics/Ron_Paul_is_Not_A_Bigot_R ...
I don't know why you continue to post that crap, it has been disproved. - macinit1138, on 05/23/2008, -15/+31Further proof that the educated 15% in this country, can't trump the 85% uneducated. The "powers that be" can always sleep easy knowing that their greedy agendas are fully protected by their loyal partners in crime, the media. And their brainwashed, target audience of mass airheads have the majority of the vote at any given time. They should start IQ-weighting the votes. If only....
- gonzap1, on 05/23/2008, -5/+21Feel free to debate me if you like..perhaps monetary policy?
- GratefulGroover, on 05/23/2008, -1/+17the biggest reason for me, is that Ron Paul (and i believe it states this in the article) is trying promote a constitutional government, while Hilary is just trying to win for Hilary. I'll be writing him in personally, he represents me best, and McCain, Clinton, and Obama are all the same candidate.
- danomagnum, on 05/23/2008, -2/+17@bosley34 It's not about winning, it's about the message.
- inactive, on 05/23/2008, -14/+29What he said is something I can totally agree with. In the very early 90s, people were still being infected with AIDS during blood transfusions at a very alarming rate. People had no easy or cheap way to test for the HIV virus, and many people began donating blood just to be tested for "free". Some blood banks didn't test at that point, because it wasn't cheap or easy. While that statement might be hateful today, in 1990 I believe it to be a very valid statement.
The blood bank I donate to every three months asks you point blank, "Have you had sex with another male since 1/1/1979?". If you answer "YES" you are automatically disqualified from donating for life (assuming you are a male who answered yes). They will also disqualify you permanently if you have ever used needle drugs, or if you have received money for sex or paid money for sex. The blood bank isn't being hateful by disqualifying homosexuals, they're being smart. Imagine you getting HIV because they had to pump some blood into you after a car wreck, and the blood bank just let "anybody" donate for no good reason except political correctness. - maz2331, on 05/23/2008, -6/+21It looks to me like McCain is the "sacraficial candidate" this time around. It's the "Democrat's turn" this time around, so Republicans are doing the "nominate Dole" trick again.
- Clark3934, on 05/23/2008, -3/+18Sorry--we stole front-page time from Obama. He'll be back soon enough!
Let us have our mini-party. :( - kemp34, on 05/23/2008, -0/+14So you want to enslave others to help you out? Ummm, I think you are the selfish bastard. Idiot.
- Screwy1138, on 05/23/2008, -0/+14personal freedom is not paying more in taxes to support more people who don't try. I'm all for helping people out. I'm all for healing economic mobility. But get out of your idealistic world and look around. Social programs aren't working as they are. Throwing more money at people who reproduce just to get more money, people who don't work because it's easier to leech of the government, is not good for our country.
- iSamurai, on 05/23/2008, -6/+19He did well in WA too, but noone reported on it, cared, or they omitted him completely. Got around 15% IIRC
- RedPhalanx, on 05/23/2008, -5/+18It's really not about winning anymore. It's about the message.
- wishninja, on 05/23/2008, -10/+23Why do you troll the forums?
- inactive, on 05/23/2008, -10/+22Once again for the slow learners
http://digg.com/politics/Ron_Paul_is_Not_A_Bigot_R ...
The basis for your argument has been completely disproved and Ron Paul has done nothing wrong with the money we donated to him.
You are grasping at straws.
Ron Paul is a good and decent man who, unlike you, has actually done something to help the needy not only with his practice but also with his service in Congress.
I don't understand why people who have been shown to be completely wrong just pretend like it never happened. - inactive, on 05/23/2008, -6/+18The good thing about Ron Paul getting so many votes is that it will start to become obvious that McCain just isn't going to win the general election. If the Republicans are stupid enough to select Mccain they will see their worst showing in a presidential race in decades.
How the election process really works is you have a candidate that has something to offer and has integrity and wins the most delegates at the convention.
McCain fails on the first two. - xdra, on 05/23/2008, -4/+16I hate this attitude where we only care about winning. 15%!! That's huge. You think we should shut up about it? Give up our voice and watch msm tell us what to think and who to vote for? Many of us see a bigger picture here that some of you are too brainwashed to get.
