- davidg11, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2There are online pledge drive sites (pledgedrive.com) that basically allow anyone to say "Ill donate X amount of dollars for a cause but only if X amount of people will do the same". A few have been formed for Ron Paul. The problem is we have multiple pledge drives opened by multiple people. I believe the solution to this multiple pledge drive chaos is having the Ron Paul campaign create ONE realistic pledge drive.
So what is realistic?
There are over 50,000 people in Ron Paul meetup groups. And 6000 more interested in joining one. So that's almost 60,000 people we know for a fact who are passionate for Ron Paul's success and could donate $100 per person over the next 90 days.
$5-$6 million raised. I'm estimating conservatively, there is at least ONE other Ron Paul supporter for every member not in a meetup group. Get them to donate $100 over the course of 90 days and what do you have? Ron Paul's goal of $12 million. ]
If you believe this is workable idea, get the word out to Ron Paul's campaign. Send an email to:

or call their campaign: 703-248-9115
Let's show the other candidates just how organized we "fringe" supporters can be!
