- cyndezu, on 07/12/2008, -14/+35Great!
- foxhaze, on 07/13/2008, -8/+10He's gonna be the next President!
- jcm267, on 07/13/2008, -14/+10Wanna bet?
- TheTaoOfBill, on 07/13/2008, -11/+8Great?! This was pathetic. It was not nearly as good as it could have been. I supported Ron Paul. I voted for him. But his supporters completely destroyed the movement by turning into a bunch of dicks who turned out to be just as nutty, closed minded and ignorant as the worst of any other group.
I really wanted to go to the march. Till I got eaten alive by fellow supporters for actually tying myself to reality and supporting my second choice, Barack Obama, after McCain clinched the nomination.
I blame Ron Paul's supporters for every bit of Ron Paul's failure. They let themselves get stuck in an echo chamber of crazy and some still have not accepted the reality that Ron Paul will not be president. You guys scared everyone off with your insanity! Now after all the momentum Ron Paul had you couldn't even get 10,000 people to show up to support him at a national rally. Pathetic.
And you think you can change the minds of delegates? You can't even convince people it's worth driving to DC!
Can you guys seriously give up on Ron Paul already and start thinking about moving foward realistically?!
Anytime you want to join reality you will be welcomed.
- foxhaze, on 07/13/2008, -8/+10He's gonna be the next President!
- bucfish, on 07/12/2008, -14/+35Nice pics, remember pictures say a thousand words. I see thousands of Individuals united to save this country from Despotism!
- ssn697, on 07/12/2008, -12/+15you need to update your prescription on your glasses. Thousands?!?!?
And, what happened to the supposed millions that were going to show?
Man, you guys just can't find enough ways to spin your delusion. Thanks for the final chance to laugh at your inept "revolution" of ignorance.- jcm267, on 07/13/2008, -7/+7This anti-Paul blogger was there and estimates 5,000-7,000.
http://thisainthell.us/blog/?p=2055 - brokencrystal, on 07/13/2008, -5/+5Actually, this is just the front of the line. These were the first pictures.
- Hortnon, on 07/13/2008, -4/+7I dunno, 5k is a lot of people...
Either way, good link. Lots of info there. - GhostyBoy, on 07/13/2008, -2/+7@Jcm: You posted a link that contradicts ssn's attempt to marginalize the event, even though I'm sure you would prefer the march was an epic failure. Credibilty+1.
- jcm267, on 07/13/2008, -7/+115,000 people is still a failure.
- ssn697, on 07/13/2008, -6/+8@Ghosty
I don't need to marginalize a failure. I can laugh at it though! Go ahead, tell us how 5k is a success. It goes with your "more military supports Ron Paul" argument.
Ron Paul SUPPORTERS marginalized it, by showing up in smaller numbers than a third tier rock concert...
FREEDOM (as long as it doesn't put me out)!!!! - GhostyBoy, on 07/13/2008, -0/+4You pretty much destroyed any argument I might have made with this:
"Ron Paul SUPPORTERS marginalized it, by showing up in smaller numbers than a third tier rock concert..."
Brutal reality check. Apparently my band is so far below third tier that I should probably be working on my next video rather than arguing on the internet.
Thanks, ssn. You win this round. - ssn697, on 07/13/2008, -1/+6@Ghosty
I would take your tunes over most of the bands out there. You have passion, good lyrics, nice bass licks, and good songs.
My girlfriend says "join the club" on destroying an argument (whupped her good in the argument arena, not necessarily a good thing in the overall scheme of things, tonight) - inobla, on 07/13/2008, -1/+8I'm gonna be selfish here and say I'd much rather see GhostyBoy work on more music and videos. :)
- jcm267, on 07/13/2008, -7/+7This anti-Paul blogger was there and estimates 5,000-7,000.
- inobla, on 07/13/2008, -6/+115000 is just over the population of my high school. That seems pretty small. From the hype I really did expect a lot more would show up.
- card51short, on 07/13/2008, -9/+4wow...i'm totally flabbergasted...are you telling me inobla AND ssn, two very unbiased political commentators are saying ron paul failed at something?
Well, since these people certainly don't spend hours a day online searching out Ron Paul articles to bury and yell at Ron Paul supporters for not sharing their mind set (a very American ideal, no doubt), we have to assume that the march was a failure. :(
Surely ssn and inbola would admit if their expectations were exceeded when it comes to us wacky Paul supporters.
Shucks :( We lose again :( - inobla, on 07/13/2008, -2/+10Damn you sure follow me around a lot. What did I ever do to you? :-)
- longtext, on 07/13/2008, -2/+9Inobla, you disagreed with a crazy person, and are now his unwitting best friend.
- card51short, on 07/13/2008, -9/+4wow...i'm totally flabbergasted...are you telling me inobla AND ssn, two very unbiased political commentators are saying ron paul failed at something?
- IrvineKinneas50, on 07/13/2008, -3/+6Save the country from despotism? Someone needs to save Digg from hyperbole.

- sportsstar67, on 07/12/2008, -34/+20What happened..Where the hell is everyone ? This was supposed to be a million Lunatics, oops I mean domestic terrorists, oops I mean people march..So much for the campaign, this was just absolutely pathetic
- pajeff2, on 07/12/2008, -12/+13Sir, these are just kids playing with their computers and adults who thought throwing money at things was the solution
- cashman57, on 07/13/2008, -4/+3Yeah and you are a doctor and war hero who owns a chain of grocery stores, right?
LMAO! - kurtu5, on 07/15/2008, -0/+1"adults who thought throwing money at things was the solution" thats pretty funny, because that is the motto of the both the neocons and the liberals but not Paul, thats why people like him.
Keep up the distortions, Paul is a kook and baby eater.
- cashman57, on 07/13/2008, -4/+3Yeah and you are a doctor and war hero who owns a chain of grocery stores, right?
- card51short, on 07/13/2008, -7/+5domestic terrorists, eh?
conspiracy nut. - liljohns, on 07/15/2008, -0/+1You're great at copy/paste sportsstar67. You get originality points!

- vault, on 07/13/2008, -9/+11Yeah, real beautiful http://www.flickr.com/photos/57925480@N00/26607880 ...
- jcm267, on 07/13/2008, -9/+11Well she is rather big.
- Minarchian, on 07/13/2008, -9/+6I saw your own people at the parade in town here:
http://www.turdonastick.com/wp-content/uploads/200 ... - jcm267, on 07/13/2008, -8/+11vault and I are capitalists and we don't support Palestine, Minarchian.
- vault, on 07/13/2008, -6/+9You mean your left your mom's basement long enough to attend a parade? You must've been on your way to this: http://www.cbsnews.com/images/2006/08/27/imageba91 ...
- onetimer, on 07/13/2008, -8/+12Ron Paul girls are objectivists.
They object to any kind of diet and fashion sense:
http://images.encyclopediadramatica.com/images/4/4 ... - card51short, on 07/13/2008, -4/+3you're right...our fashion and diets may not be top shape.
Ouch...burn :(
No YOU guys are ugly!!!
- vault, on 07/13/2008, -9/+11Yeah, real beautiful http://www.flickr.com/photos/57925480@N00/26607880 ...
- Minarchian, on 07/12/2008, -12/+28And some in the MSM are claiming only 500 to 800 people showed up.
MSM is part of the travesty, and complicit in the loss of our Rights.- sportsstar67, on 07/12/2008, -19/+9Irregardless the turnout was pathetic
- ssn697, on 07/12/2008, -18/+13500 to 800 looks VERY generous to me.
Pretty funny that you are trying to spin a complete washout of a turnout, like 1000 would be a success. - Minarchian, on 07/13/2008, -4/+7Morons like you two running around are proof of the failure of the public school system.
Oh yea....I remember you loons denying the existence of plans for a North American Union And its NAFTA Highway.
Yet again you're proven to be the big government shills we freedom lovers have known you to be: http://thomas.loc.gov/cgi-bin/query/z?c110:H.+Con. ...- jcm267, on 07/13/2008, -10/+6So you have a bill submitted by a bunch of idiot Congressmen and women that calls for Congress to not participate in this little program and which was sent to die in committee? How exactly does this piece of crap bill prove the existence of a NAFTA highway conspiracy?
- Minarchian, on 07/13/2008, -4/+9So you think Congress is in the habit of introducing bills based on conspiracy theories?
Give it up. Your charade is over. - jcm267, on 07/13/2008, -10/+6I think Congresspeople like those who submitted that bill are, Minarchian. No one ever accused the people who sit in Congress (especially many of those who stay the longest) as being terribly bright. If they weren't such idiots they'd be Senators or something (stealing from Imus).
- colincornaby, on 07/13/2008, -5/+6First picture says 500 to 800 to me. You can see the end of the crowd where the cars resume.
- mklcom, on 07/13/2008, -3/+2I was there. I took a lot of pictures, but haven't had time to post any. The turnout was definitely in the thousands, I would guess between 5000-10000. I talked to a police officer who said the police were estimating around 15,000.
- reed311, on 07/12/2008, -23/+21We should turn viewing these photos into a drinking game. Any time you see the word "sheep" on a sign, take a drink. Take three drinks if someone has a sign that talks about the Federal Reserve or the Gold standard. And finish your drink if you spot a minority (you can't use the same one twice, though!).
- ssn697, on 07/12/2008, -13/+18I'd say add in a shot every time you see a picture of someone dressed up like it is the 1700's, but you'd be ***** faced in 20 minutes!
Boy, the HUNDREDS of people are overwhelming!
I am having trouble adjusting my screen contrast, to be able to view THAT MUCH WHITE on one screen...
Hack, Cough.... - pajeff2, on 07/12/2008, -11/+15Ah, this group is not wild about minorities
- kurtu5, on 07/15/2008, -0/+1Oh yeah that right, Ron Paul hates black people. Keep up the distortions.
- onetimer, on 07/13/2008, -8/+14Who would have thought that someone who didn't support civil rights legislation, and had a racist news letter come out of his office for two decades would have trouble getting minorities to support him?
OOPS! I forgot, he denied he wrote them and that guy from the Austin NCAAP vouched for him; therefore it's a FACT that he didn't...- cashman57, on 07/13/2008, -9/+3There were no racist newsletters written by Ron Paul, that was completely debunked. That you would cling to that is symptomatic of either your ignorance or obsession.
http://digg.com/politics/Ron_Paul_is_Not_A_Bigot_R ... - cashman57, on 07/13/2008, -8/+3It's funny that the OBushma fans will come here and digg down my comment because they know that have been shown as ignorant and out of touch with reality.
- jcm267, on 07/13/2008, -1/+10That was not a debunking, cashman, it was a denial. Learn the difference.
- kurtu5, on 07/15/2008, -2/+1If blacks and whites are equal, then why are their laws that unequally apply to blacks and whites?
At one time the laws said hanging a runaway slave was ok.
People fought to make the law neutral and treat all americans the same.
Now we swung past neutrality and have affirmative action and civil rights laws.
Neither inequity is healthy, and both are immoral. Unless you are a racist and have a belief that one race is superior to another.
- cashman57, on 07/13/2008, -9/+3There were no racist newsletters written by Ron Paul, that was completely debunked. That you would cling to that is symptomatic of either your ignorance or obsession.
- card51short, on 07/13/2008, -10/+3next time hopefully we'll accomplish our real goal : satisfying the anti-Ron Paul trolls on Digg.
Until then, I will have many a sleepless nights :(
lol imagine onetimer and ssn if there were one million people there.
"HA?! ONE MILLION? I SAW A WEBSITE WHERE SOMEONE SAID THERE WOULD BE TEN MILLION. WHAT AN ABYSMAL FAILURE"
You guys are hilarious haha... - PATSCRU, on 07/13/2008, -2/+10take 10 shots everytime you see a man dressed as lady liberty (believe it's there, and it's a sweet lulz milkshake)
- ssn697, on 07/12/2008, -13/+18I'd say add in a shot every time you see a picture of someone dressed up like it is the 1700's, but you'd be ***** faced in 20 minutes!
- Hortnon, on 07/12/2008, -31/+20BREAKING:
Ron Paul continues to be irrelevant; Supporters cling to hope their money wasn't wasted.- cl2yp71c, on 07/13/2008, -2/+3Did you hear a Hoo?
- Habit4ming, on 07/12/2008, -11/+22I was trying to follow this on Break the Matrix...anyway estimates are 5,000-10,000 Liberty-loving Americans showed up today...and that's great considering the price of gas, more than I expected would show. As everyone can see, Ron Paul has white supporters, black supporters, Hispanic supporters, old supporters, young supporters, middle-aged supporters...guess that kinds shoots the "Ron Paul is a racist" and "Ron Paul's supporters are a buncha kids on their computers" propaganda/lies in the butt, doesn't it??? Ron Paul supporters differ on many things, but the one thing we have in common is this: We expect our elected officials to obey the Constitution, always, no questions asked, no excuses. Ron Paul always votes in accordance with the Constitution. He's also an expert on economics, which America DOUBLY needs right now with prices the way they are. Anyway, great prics and I know there are tons more pics at flickr....
- sportsstar67, on 07/12/2008, -18/+13Son, they were expecting a million people...this was a sad turnout...I do have to admit that when it comes up to making excuses you guys take the cake..No wonder you can't help yourself and need an organization to help you...If you can't spam it you can't do it....
- ronpaulblogscom, on 07/12/2008, -6/+16No one was expecting a million people. The official volunteer website had 15,311 people pledging to go to the March and Rally. http://revolutionmarch.com/ That is quite smaller than a million. We are not making excuses. We publish pictures and video because you wont see them otherwise. What organization are you talking about? This was planned, organized, and talked about completely by volunteers that were loosely organized. Yes I helped some. So did others. And the GOP nominee has not had 10,000 people show up for him anywhere that I know of.
- ssn697, on 07/13/2008, -1/+6There will be more than 10,000 at the Republican convention, and they won't be there for Ron Paul.
- jcm267, on 07/13/2008, -11/+10I bet the Bilderbergers decided to make the gas too expensive for the Ron Paul supporters to be able to afford to drive to DC for the Liberty March.
- Herkimer56, on 07/13/2008, -10/+12It's hard to do a lot of traveling on a McDonald's paycheck.
- HumanCattle, on 07/14/2008, -1/+3^^^^ hahahahah!
Now that's a clever joke right there.
Hahahahha. Hahahahahahah.
Hahahahahhahahahahahahhahaha.
ohhhhh.
- HumanCattle, on 07/14/2008, -1/+3^^^^ hahahahah!
- jcm267, on 07/13/2008, -7/+10elvergudo (aka the onetimer troll) really needs to spend some time in prison.

- kemp34, on 07/13/2008, -11/+10I wish everyone were as cool as you SSN.
- ssn697, on 07/13/2008, -8/+12Me too. You can try, but I doubt it will happen.
- card51short, on 07/13/2008, -10/+5ssn you should upload a pic...hahahaha...60 year old balding fat man guarantee it.
- ssn697, on 07/13/2008, -5/+11I've offered to have you come up to Montana several times, Card.
Look, I am even stroking your ego by pretending you matter. Come on up, if your probation allows it, and visit my gym. Standing offer. Anytime.
Lets see who is fat and balding, in person. Walk the walk, little boy. Come on up!
There. You got your once a quarter "if I stalk him long enough, he will validate my existence" post.
Come on, little boy. You know where I am. Happy to have you come prove me wrong.
But I won't post a picture. You will have to find something else for your masturbation fantasies. - HumanCattle, on 07/14/2008, -2/+4ssn697, still threatening to fight with other digg users in your "gym"?
Just come out of the closet, ssn. It's ok. Nobody cares.
- rhabd0mancer, on 07/13/2008, -2/+1Right-wing hippies.
- XanderDee, on 07/12/2008, -10/+20I was there great event I had a lot of fun.
- thrashertm, on 07/12/2008, -10/+14I was there, and I would guess that there were about 2,000. I'm no professional when it comes to these things though, so perhaps I am under estimating things. It was really a cool event. So many people went all-out with their costumes, signs, slogans, etc. Quite a spectacle.
- snapplellama, on 07/13/2008, -9/+14I was there, as well! I was about twenty feet away from Dr. Paul, and couldn't stop smiling!
- vault, on 07/13/2008, -8/+12Did he let you touch the hem of his white hooded robe?
- r3negadeX, on 08/11/2008, -7/+5Wait...there are still ignorant people out there that think Ron Paul's a racist?
- card51short, on 07/13/2008, -6/+5"Wait...there are still ignorant people out there that think Ron Paul's a racist?"
Well...internet troll/conspiracy theorists do, yes.
Quite pathetic, I know. They don't really believe that, though. They just like to cause a stir.
They are so upset that there are Americans who don't buy into their belief system.
- vault, on 07/13/2008, -8/+12Did he let you touch the hem of his white hooded robe?
- inobla, on 07/13/2008, -18/+14This was the big DC protest? Looks like 1/10th of the people who showed up at the Oregon Obama rally a few months back.
- mnewcomb, on 07/13/2008, -9/+7IndyMac seized...
http://www.reuters.com/article/businessNews/idUSWA ...
You think Obama is going to save us?- inobla, on 07/13/2008, -7/+11Actually I don't. I would however put more faith in him to tackle it than Paul. Thanks for trying. :)
- Wundur, on 07/13/2008, -7/+3Just like Obama voted for FISA, eh.
- colincornaby, on 07/13/2008, -1/+7According to estimates, it would be around 1/48th the size of Obama's Portland rally.
- Robjayne, on 07/13/2008, -3/+4There are many more sheep than shepherds.
- sportsstar67, on 07/13/2008, -4/+4Obama drew 80,000 for a speech, they drew 5,000 for a protest..pretty pathetic..some of these clowns have posted that the price of gas held down the crowd..Now that ***** hilarious
- kurtu5, on 07/15/2008, -2/+1Yeah those clowns were stupid, everyone knows that 4th of July travel was not changed one bit by the high gas prices.
Same thing goes for this 12th rally, high gas prices didn't cause these supporters to not travel.
They didn't show up in numbers because they were at home raping babies in their parent's basements during their all night paul spamming sessions on myspace.
- kurtu5, on 07/15/2008, -2/+1Yeah those clowns were stupid, everyone knows that 4th of July travel was not changed one bit by the high gas prices.
- mnewcomb, on 07/13/2008, -9/+7IndyMac seized...
- danke, on 07/13/2008, -7/+17Definitely a lot more than that, I'd say around 7-8 thousand easily.
- sportsstar67, on 07/13/2008, -5/+2Son, they were expecting a million folks..this was an utter failure..there is no other way to spin this
- mklcom, on 07/13/2008, -2/+3No one was expecting anywhere NEAR a million people. They were expecting around 15,000. A million people wouldn't have fit on the capitol lawn, it would have taken up the whole mall, which had another event on it (the longest walk?).
- sportsstar67, on 07/13/2008, -5/+2Son, they were expecting a million folks..this was an utter failure..there is no other way to spin this
- Minarchian, on 07/13/2008, -17/+18Look at the McBama trolls hitting this post about Ron Paul's march.
They're used to marching themselves, just not for freedom: http://www.turdonastick.com/wp-content/uploads/200 ...- inobla, on 07/13/2008, -8/+11Take a deep breath Minarchain...
http://51short.com/imgref/rp.jpg
Now, exhale...
Your revolution is on a downward spiral. The bandwagon Paulites are abandoning their support for him and moving on to other candidates. It's ok though, tomorrow is another day. Maybe you can try again in 2012 if he's still kickin'.- Minarchian, on 07/13/2008, -8/+5That's a funny pic.
You do that yourself...even in 5th grade?
It's actually pretty sad that people like you are around who actually relish the loss of freedom in America. - Herkimer56, on 07/13/2008, -4/+11Minarchian, do you ever make a post where you don't sound like some brainwashed automaton who can only spew ad homs and Ronbot approved talking points? You have to be the most boring, predictable poster on Digg.
- Minarchian, on 07/13/2008, -9/+4Actually I am laughing at you people.
You actually think this Country is going fine.
While the walls are crumbling down all around you.
Go ahead and waste your vote like all the other McBamaranians. - Herkimer56, on 07/13/2008, -6/+10Read your posting as if someone else posted it and maybe you can see what I'm trying to tell you. It's all meaningless buzzwords and hyperbole. You're becoming a waste of bandwidth.
- Minarchian, on 07/13/2008, -8/+3Herk,
Why doesn't Obama and McCain just join their tickets together and get it over with?
Choosing between Obama and McCain is like choosing which pair of socks to wear. They might be different colors, but they're both just socks.
LOL! - nomorepaul, on 07/13/2008, -5/+11Socks that have also managed to pass legislation.
Btw, who wants to bet every Ron Paul sock is white. - onetimer, on 07/13/2008, -5/+11"Choosing between Obama and McCain is like choosing which pair of socks to wear. They might be different colors, but they're both just socks."
Hey thanks for parroting the 'ol "Major candidate A and Major candidate B are the same" platitude. I look for that line to identify idiots with.
http://www.ontheissues.org/default.htm
Hey, did you know your buddy paul sided with Bush and the majority of republicans over 3/4ths of the time?
http://projects.washingtonpost.com/congress/member ...
Of course, that doesn't include bills like the FISA bill, something which paul didn't even show up to vote on... - kurtu5, on 07/15/2008, -0/+1Ok onetimer, where do Barak and John stand on the Federal Reserve? What makes their policy different?
What about non-intervention? Obama and McCain have different policies?
As far as I am concerned, these are the two most critical issues of today. Neither McCain nor Obama seem to stand apart on these issues, in fact they appear to be ignoring them equally the same.
- Minarchian, on 07/13/2008, -8/+5That's a funny pic.
- longtext, on 07/13/2008, -2/+5ITT: Minarchian's head asploding.
- inobla, on 07/13/2008, -8/+11Take a deep breath Minarchain...
- inobla, on 07/13/2008, -17/+24Holy *****. Looks like there were a lot who showed up. Wow!
http://51short.com/imgref/thisway.jpg- Minarchian, on 07/13/2008, -18/+8You're talking about sheep?
Now that's a laugh, I guess you have an easy time identifying sheep, as you're one of the Government led sheep.
It shows how confused you are. - inobla, on 07/13/2008, -8/+23Nah, I got tired of hearing the 'sheeple' crap from you guys so I decided to hold a mirror up to your face.

- card51short, on 07/13/2008, -8/+3wait a second...someone bought my old website www.51short.com and turned it into an anti twoof website....
I am in utter amazement.
You guys are the biggest bunch of losers I've ever met in my life. How do you have this much time to dedicate to something you despise? I'm at a total loss for words...
I may have to stop commenting for the next few days or so.
This is just new reaches of sadness...I can't not believe you guys...LOL- vault, on 07/13/2008, -3/+16well you should've renewed 51short.com if you wanted to keep it. It's the FREE MARKET at work, card.
- inobla, on 07/13/2008, -3/+15"wait a second..."
Woooow CarD, you're quick! - jcm267, on 07/13/2008, -2/+11carD, everyone's been telling you this for months. Plus there were a few anti-troof submissions that you visited which were hosted on 51short.com.
I actually was thinking about doing something like this for the longest time, but didn't want to waste the money on hosting and registering and didn't want to waste the small amount of time it would take to put up a "carD sucks" web page. - inobla, on 07/13/2008, -2/+7Apparently carD's keen skills of observation aren't quite as honed as his ability to run his mouth. Haha i win in the end ;)
You can keep spreading your wild stuff on my sites...just shines more attention on me and shows how insane you guys are.
That website on 51short.com is scary. You guys are dedicated. Maybe I should back out now...I don't want some insane fan hacking me to bits while I sleep.
Or do I.... - inobla, on 07/19/2008, -0/+4What? None of us want to hurt you CarD. Stop it. Oh wait, your fans are troofers and paulbots.. Yeah, they might be a little scary if they think you hate Alex Jones.
The neat thing about domains and hosting.. Some companies work off of the 'frequent flier miles' system. If you've registered and hosted enough domains through them they give you credits. You can register a domain and get hosting for.... nothing!
So, five Centcom agents got together and each put in exactly $0.00 each to put up that website. :)

First person to find a paulitie displaying a "9/11 was an inside job" slogan wins a tinfoil hat.- brewbyer, on 07/13/2008, -6/+3I find your comments offensive.
I walked around town for the last two 9/11's wearing a tin-foil hat and handing out cd's, to confront such lame sterotypes head-on.
Have even bothered to look at the evidence surrounding 9/11?
Please, check out the new film "9/11 Cronicals, part one Truth Rising".
Then you will understand it is really the heros of 9/11, firefighters and rescue workers, you attack with your villanous web posting.- theright, on 07/13/2008, -2/+7"Then you will understand it is really the heros of 9/11, firefighters and rescue workers, you attack with your villanous web posting."
You, and the entire "truth movement" as a whole, are a disgrace.
It is the "truth movement" (including Alex Jones, producer of that latest propaganda film you reference) who have accused the FDNY of being complicit in the murder of 343 of their colleagues on 9/11. It is the "truth movement" who take firefighters' comments out of context and use them (take fire chief Orio Palmer and his "[...] we've got two isolated pockets of fire. We should be able to knock it down with two lines." in reference to the 78th floor of the North tower) to support their own agenda. It is the "truth movement" who, on the anniversary of the attacks, turn out in force to disrupt memorial services at Ground Zero for those who lost loved ones. It is prominent members of the "truth movement", Luke Rudkowski and Sabrina Rivera (of "WeAreCHANGE") who gatecrashed a memorial service for family members at Ground Zero (on the basis that Sabrina's former boyfriend, Dan Wallace, lost his firefighter father in the attacks) and used it to heckle former mayor Giuliani. On that note, it is the "truth movement" who, while Wallace was alive, used him repeatedly as a shield to criticism, and in his death despite numerous requests from his family to cease ties with him, have continued to use and abuse both his and his father's name and memory.
"[...] It kind of angers me because I was there. I've heard people talk about it that come from Cincinnati, and California, and wherever else they come from. I was here, you weren't. I think they have no respect for all the friends of mine that I lost and all the people that died that day. It's like a slap in their face." — Lieutenant Frank Papalia, FDNY - HumanCattle, on 07/14/2008, -2/+2You really hate the Truth Movement, don't you, theright?
Honestly, if given the chance, would you like to physically attack a member of the Truth Movement for the opinions they express? - andy2245, on 07/14/2008, -0/+1What's a cronical?

- BigRedBrent, on 07/13/2008, -16/+15If Ron Paul received as much free media coverage as Obama then this march would have been over 100 times larger. I don't think people understand just how big this is with so little coverage. It is the equivalent of supporters of any other candidate that dropped out marching on DC. And I don't see a single supporter other then Ron Paul supporters doing this. If that is not significant then I do not know what is.
The problem is that we are not doing this to toot our own horn, we are just trying to get others to notice something. Since we do not have the massive power of the major media corporations at our disposal, we are doing everything we can think of to get others to just look into what is going on around them for a moment.
http://digg.com/politics/BigRedBrent_s_Ron_Paul_Mo ...- onetimer, on 07/13/2008, -7/+15Your sense of self-importance is astoundingly overinflated.
Really? You think a rally of 5-8K people in WASHINGTON DC is news worthy? The anti-war rallies get at least 50 times as many people. Hell, even Obama's ralley in OREGON got 75,000+ And you still think 5-8k is impressive?
Blah blah it's all the media's fault, right? Yeah, that's why Giuliani and Clinton are the nominees, just like they said they would be? Oh wait...
"The problem is that we are not doing this to toot our own horn, we are just trying to get others to notice something."
So you're IRL spammers. Congratulations.- ssn697, on 07/13/2008, -3/+9I used to live just outside D.C.
A march of 5k people was common place. You have a group of about a thousand people that show up for EVERY march (note the :no torture booths at the rally?). They are on speed dial for march organizers.
4-5k worth of marchers doesn't even elicit a yawn in D.C. It is a pretend march. It receives no coverage, because it is nearly a weekly event.
Ron Paul supporters showed one thing, and one thing only: They are fair weather supporters, except for a tiny group of white males 18-35 years old, who have some disposable income. That would be Ron Paul's book target market, BTW.
Sorry for telling the truth. Digg me down now. - ronpaulblogscom, on 07/13/2008, -5/+5Ron Paul people support RP because they have progressed to where they are sick of both parties. There seems to be little difference. Obama is popular because most people are sick of politicians. They think Obama is different, mostly for image or their imagined differences. Ethanol backing, Rezko, FISA and now his re-evalutation of the Iraq Conflict show he is not different. I wish he was different, but he ain't.
Clinton 2 was too much to handle, they didn't want that sequel. Also the Democrat insiders were a little afraid of how much people would mobilize against her. So much baggage...
The media is propping up who they think is the safe candidates to their establishment. But in the end people actually have to donate to them / vote for them. Some of them never caught on and were mostly media fabrications.
The political arena is like going to a bad restaurant. You know what you want, but it ain't on the menu.

- Stryder81, on 07/13/2008, -10/+16Fact is, it is in the thousands. In response to some of you wise asses who are knocking the numbers, Obama, McCain, etc. have national promotion backed by special interests to back up filling their arenas, Paul barely to never mentioned this march, maybe twice.
This march was strictly grassroots, who else can do this?
I Rest My Case...- sportsstar67, on 07/13/2008, -7/+3This march has been on dozens of websites....the campaign for lunacy has 70,000 members...face it , no one gave a *****.....If they can't do it on their computer they don't do it.....Who else can do this ?? Anyone can draw 5,000 people...You can't spin this one dip..it's over, it's been over..time to grow up and except it..Christ, Obama drew 80,000 for one speech......My hometown lousy AA baseball team get 20,000 for one game..turn out the lights, the party is over
- ghendric, on 07/14/2008, -0/+4I watched the news all weekend and didn't see one thing about the march at all on TV. Very disappointing... I thought there would at least be something on there even if it was just a little mention...
- cashman57, on 07/13/2008, -6/+7It was great to see the photos from the march. I have been unable to even sit up for more than a few minutes a day or I would have been there.
Nice to see all of the jokes too. Like the one where Ron Paul is a bigot
http://digg.com/politics/Ron_Paul_is_Not_A_Bigot_R ...
That one is very funny because it has been completely disproved, debunked, and shown to be a lie MONTHS AGO and the anti-freedom idiots keep posting it.
If Ron Paul were truly irrelevant these people would not be spending so much time following all of the Ron Paul threads on digg.
To those who made it to the rally CONGRATULATIONS, YOU ARE PART OF HISTORY!!- jcm267, on 07/13/2008, -4/+6Where have the "Ron Paul is a bigot" allegations been disproved? That link that you provide is just a denial and not a debunking.
- cashman57, on 07/13/2008, -6/+2You didn't read it. You just looked at the title and decided what it must say. Read the article and you can no longer claim Paul is a bigot. Ignore the article and look like a fool.

The Ron Paul haters and lamers and idiots will try anything to keep their charade up, but, anyone who has actually read the article knows that every single accusation of bigotry by Ron Paul has been completely debunked and anyone still claiming that he is has been proven to be intentionally ignorant.- jcm267, on 07/13/2008, -4/+4Please learn to use the commenting system correctly, cashman.
