prisonplanet.com — Ron Paul emerged from last weeks GOP debate as completely victorious according to every available benchmark and yet there is still a deliberate ploy to push the Texas Congressman to the sidelines on behalf of a terrified corporate media.

- chryslerny, on 11/05/2007, -5/+71The polls aren't even close yet still no mention of Ron Paul. This is what you called controlled mainstream media. I think it is so much easier to tell now that the internet tells it all. This is the peoples' wake up call. Stop listening to mainstream media!

Ron Pauls worst enemy is the rabid supporters that blacken his name. This includes Alex Jones. - H3LLSL337, on 10/12/2007, -3/+44@dshpls
RTFA, ABC news poll only allowed one vote per IP. It wasn't just a bot. - COMPACTION, on 10/12/2007, -3/+47Now the mainstream giants are crying that their readership is down. Well no wonder they are a bunch of liars and are not serving the public but are the public enemy. Censoring and reporting garbage worse than ever. Now they want to scew around with the internet, free speech and start the Internet 2 which will have gatekeepers on information flow. So if you don't like there opinion you won't have another choice. These Elite hate the fact that we have our own opinions and don't listen to the false news and tabloid diversions. Well we know the truth that your business is not to inform but to disinform for corporate greed. It is getting worse everyday telling false information that even a child knows is a lie.
- Jeffmr1, on 10/12/2007, -4/+26Somebody had a good point in the ABC message boards, calling the HQ will just flood one center with phone calls from us, they'll get the point but think it's some sort of online-only reaction. We need to call local ABC affiliate stations, because corporate news HQs hate nothing more than being whined at from their 'little-sister' stations.
- blaze4metal, on 10/12/2007, -3/+23@COMPACTION
I agree with your statements. I have been noticing a lot of effort to rein in on the internet. All politicians are fans of free-speech but when you finally see a real example of it like the Internet, they push to regulate it. All the corporations are afraid of not being able to filter out what people are trying to say. They control forums on their own webpages (ABC.com censoring any mention of Ron Paul comes to mind), and have wet-dreams of some day being able to do the same for any forum.
Write letters to congress about any anti-Internet law. We finally have freedom from the Corporate Media and they are starting to force their political puppets to fight against it! - Jeffmr1, on 10/12/2007, -3/+19I just realized, ABC carries 20/20. John Stossel is a Libertarian reporter on 20/20 who only gets to tout his views because he was so popular before changing his political position. Flood him with emails, and maybe, just maybe, Ron Paul might just get a 20/20 interview!
- gmason08, on 10/12/2007, -2/+20Why is this being flagged as possibly "inaccurate" and why is this not yet "Popular" with over 200 Diggs at the time of this comment. Why don't we do something more useful like flagging the MSM as definitely INACCURATE!
- gmason08, on 10/12/2007, -2/+22Of course this is now Buried. Between the time of my above comment and this one it was buried. Interesting, 200+ Diggs does not go popular but does get flagged as inaccurate. The MSM does not have a monopoly on censorship.

Along with the fact that they removed all comments from the story as well.
According to their story he is supported by the "libertarian faithful". This makes no sense.... if they were libertarian "faithful" then they, by definition, wouldn't be breaking party affiliation to support a Republican (Dr. Paul). Also, it fails to account for the phenomenom of dissatisfied conservatives (like myself) with whom Dr. Paul is strongly resonating.- globalstomp, on 10/12/2007, -2/+7Dr. Paul now a true conservative ran for president before as a libertarian for which I myself am and I will be voting for the right man and not by party affiliation like everyone else should do.

What do I think? I think ABC is censoring information about Ron Paul. Why do you keep talking about the same five candidates over and over?
The American people are revolting against the mainstream media's agenda to make us think only 5 people are running for president.
ABC published a hit piece on Ron Paul and deleted comments from Ron Paul supporters.
Is that okay with you?

That's all they have to do; Yet I still haven't seen an updated Ron Paul profile, I still see him missing from the candidate's page, Yahoo STILL hasn't mentioned Ron Paul, etc.
MSM doesn't get off that easy; If they don't like the flood of calls and emails, then be fair. Or else they need to STFU and take it up the ass because they deserve it. Until I see changes, I will be inexorable and relentless. MSM needs (not should) to give Ron Paul the coverage he deserves. End of story. End of my diatribe. haha! :D

- DigThisFukers, on 10/12/2007, -2/+11Here's a news story I watched a Film last night that aired at 12:15 am EST it ran about 1 hour and 15 minutes on the movie network about the abuse at Abbu Ghraib sick *****, and I think everyone should see this film why do they only show this ***** late at night. They know not many people are up at that time. It showed how Donald Rumsfeld went to Iraq with Major General Miller and told them they were to soft on the inmates. They needed to get tougher.
Plus DR released a memo saying that some TORTURE was ok. That it was withing the Geneva Convention. So the Troops started using Torture tactics to get the inmates to talk. problem is that these so called inmates where civilians. When all the pictures of Troops doing this come out to the main stream, the army said they do not condone these acts. these people that took pics all went to military prison. and the whistle blower was supposed to remain anonymous. Good ol Don Rummer went and said his name at a public hearing on national TV it also aired in Iraq on the bases.
What do you think would have happened to this man if he would have stayed in Iraq??? He would be dead today but he left just a few hours after it aired, His friends found him a ride back to America. And that is a True Story Your public officials giving orders to torture people and when they get caught, the people giving the torture go to jail but the high up officials have no accountability.
Sucks but it's the harsh reality of it!!!!!!

Ron Paul Builds Momentum
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
May 8, 2007
ARLINGTON, VA – Congressman Ron Paul's support has soared since the first Republican presidential debate. Conservative commentator John McLaughlin, host of “The McLaughlin Group," cited Ron Paul as having given "the best performance of the debate." In fact, the Paul campaign's apparent strength has many other pundits scrambling to explain it. Paul campaign officials offer the following examples of the candidate's rising success.
Since the debate on May 3, Ron Paul:
1. Handily won two post-debate polls posted by event sponsor MSNBC.
2. Placed a close third (18%) in a post-debate poll on the conservative Drudge Report.
3. Won an ABCNews.com online debate poll with 84%.
4. Won a C-SPAN online GOP candidate poll with 69%.
5. Became the third most-mentioned person in the blogosphere, beating out Paris Hilton, according to the reputable Technorati.com.
6. Produced a YouTube.com video that was ranked the 8th most popular overall video, and the most-viewed political video.
7. Was featured, by popular demand, on the front of Digg.com.
8. Generated so many bulletin posts on MySpace.com that the site owner News Corp. blocked all additional posts about Dr. Paul.
9. Became a "most searched" term on Google and Yahoo!.
10. Saw a quadrupling of daily visitors to RonPaul2008.com.
"These figures speak for themselves," said campaign chairman Kent Snyder. "Ron Paul has quickly become a strong contender for the GOP nomination because of his powerful message of freedom and limited government."

- refugeechris, on 10/12/2007, -2/+12I can't believe Murdoch and Myspace would suppress Ron Paul comments, That has to be illegal somehow. Big Media bias was easier to prosecute when we still had the fairness doctrine.
- billybigrigger, on 10/12/2007, -1/+9Go Ron Paul GO! Everyone needs to tell other people not only online but in day to day socializing. Now that he's a threat to the establishment he needs the light to be constantly focused on him. Not only for his succes, but for his safety!
- depburns, on 10/12/2007, -2/+15It is almost as if a great veil is being lifted from our eyes, and in this new light it becomes so easy to see the fraud as to make it almost laughable. With so many stories lately it seems the spin -- which is usually the whole story -- is having less and less effect, and revealing just how corrupted our media, business and political elites are. People are literally waking up to all of this, and it is freaking some people out. Good!!!
I believe we are also causing the powers that be to accellerate their agenda forcing them to increasingly look like the tyrants and liars they are. There is a reason the truth is buried. It directly threatens vested interests.
Once you get over grieving that our way of life is rapidly disappearing and accept that this is just the way it is, it makes it easier to act by simply learning and shining a light on the truth. From there the truth will set you free. From there a new and better way of life can emerge. It highlights as well how precious life is in truth, but how cheap life is to those who seek to rule us. A great awakenning is happenning worldwide right now, we are blessed in many ways to be alive at this time. We are being called to choose who and what we are all about. We are being called to face the injustice and deception. If enough of us act with integrity and courage, miracles will happen.- Soldier4Truth, on 10/12/2007, -2/+6Nice view of it. If a nation can turn it's back on God, it can also return To God and be forgiven, possibly even released of it's captivity. But without truth there is no hope. Let's indeed keep shining light on the truth, even to our last drops of blood. God bless you!
- xdream, on 10/12/2007, -2/+11DIGGS opens its mouth to the big penis of censorship! This Republican will vote for Ron Paul, and that means sending money to the man!!! SEND EVERYTHING YOU CAN TO RON PAUL!
Ron Paul also won the MSNBC poll with 39%!! woohoo! One vote per ISP address. So quit your lying!! It's only fixed if you're the one doing the fixing, like the Bush administration did in stealing the presidency twice. - XPIOLT, on 10/12/2007, -2/+11Censorship goes against everything that is America and it is evil. Dr. Ron Paul is clearly ahead in all the polls but still the mainstream continues to support Bush that only has 28% approval rating. You have to stop and ask why. Why is the mainstream media in love with Romney, Clinton, Gulliano and Barak Bin Laden? If you cannot see what they are doing, have always done, then I guess the American voting process is just as phoney as everything else. Go get a 12 pak, turn on the game and just enjoy life, the media will take care of us.

- madewitt, on 10/12/2007, -1/+15The New World Order is in total control of the media, this and only this is the explanation why Ron Paul a true patriot is being censored. This man has in every way proved his worth as "founding father material" and his true value to the citizens of our country. How so many within the main stream media could allow this to happen while the country is dying is always the question. Is it money? Peer pressure? Or is it just that their own propaganda has infected their own minds? Regardless of what you think our job is clear, in order for us to destroy the New World Order we must continue to speak out for truth and supporting Ron Paul is key. Every man, woman and child must know the truth, especially the men, we are singularly responsible for the mess we are in! As protectors within the human society it is we who must lead the fight to protect the God given rights of all humanity. Our record thus far has been abysmal we have the blood of innocents on our hands. Well, I think its just because someone from "DIGG" supports the Nazis...
NO TO GLOBAL GOVERNMENT, NO TO THE NAZI DICTATORSHIP- THE NAZIS WON WW2 (US and England as main generator) + 9/11 WAS AN INSIDE JOB... As always.... - EzraT1, on 10/12/2007, -1/+13Inaccurate? Look at abc and yahoo none of them mention Ron Paul its apparent that they are censoring him. Some people are just stupid don't even think! believe what everyone tells you is rational and sane but please don't think for your self that would be troubling.

- kayaker712, on 10/12/2007, -1/+12When I was in grade school we used to laugh at the Russiasn transparent propagandist media like Pravda and Izvestia.
The Russians had a saying Old Russian joke: In truth (Pravda) there is no news; in news (Izvestia) there is no truth.
Looks like we have emulated completely our old foes. We are now an official Banana Republic. Welcome to Amerika, your papers please. - jpr281, on 10/12/2007, -1/+10Warning: The Content in this Article May be Inaccurate
