- roosevans, on 07/18/2008, -1/+25I have read where former President Ronald Reagan said "libertarianism is the essence of the Republican party" and I have come to believe this as well. "Ron Paul" Republicans is what the neoconservative co-opted GOP party and America desperately needs today, in my opinion.
- Hangly, on 07/18/2008, -0/+15The question remains whether or not the existing GOP will succeed in absorbing the new faction, or whether the Ron Paul Republicans will remain idealistic and independent.
- V3n0M, on 07/18/2008, -0/+20I love getting RNC solicitations for donations in the mail. I always insert a Ron Paul pamphlet and write a letter saying "I'll donate when you start acting like real Conservatives. See enclosed."
I especially love the pre-paid envelopes! :)- Conspiracy20, on 07/18/2008, -0/+10hey, I like that!
- gmdmartyr, on 07/18/2008, -0/+7That goes with the pre=paid envelopes from bill collectors and donations, etc. Send them envelopes back. That will stop'em if enough people catch on and do the same thing.
- vulcanhammer, on 08/16/2008, -0/+1Excellent idea!!
- MrXfromPlanetX, on 07/19/2008, -0/+4HanglyHangly the idea is not for the existing GOP to absorb us, but for us to absorb them.
If your state has a caucus check this out http://alternativeconservative.com/caucus
If you state does primaries only http://www.votesmart.org/election_president_how_pr ...
The point is to work to get more people out to determine who gets on the ballot for the party. We are misleads to think the November election is what counts.
We need to get organized http://ronpaul.meetup.com and determine who is on the ballot to vote for in the November elections.
