- Erich100, on 06/17/2008, -2/+27Ron Paul talking with a former AIPAC mouth piece.
http://digg.com/politics/Wolf_Blitzer_From_AIPAC_L ... - StingingNettle, on 06/17/2008, -5/+29Great interview, and its true that he might have taken more votes away from Obama... Although I suspect that the majority of people who want Ron Paul would not vote for any of the other major candidates. I'll probably end up voting for the constitution party myself.
- Trustar247, on 06/17/2008, -3/+22You just know that this man speaks the truth when you hear him. I'm rooting for Ron Paul! Onward and upward. Go Ron Paul! :-).
- nobody7, on 06/17/2008, -2/+20Ron Paul: Pelosi follows orders to go to war from AIPAC http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F6uHYY6ymU0
The guy who exposed blackwater exposes Obama
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yuQq70QSMi4 - georgemason01, on 06/17/2008, -3/+20I'd be interested to see how far up CNN's ratings went while this interview aired, and how fast they dropped back down once it was done.
- kidid, on 06/17/2008, -6/+21HA!! Obama has got no principles when compared to Dr. Paul....Mr. Barack "Get it right the first time Clinton" "I was a Constitution Professor" Obama has definitely flip flopped on his Iraq (undeclared) War stance since 2004: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2kFrFIFizkU
- inactive, on 06/17/2008, -2/+11I was thinking the same.
I think they know he's good for ratings! - chaosium, on 06/17/2008, -4/+10I don't really see how most RP fans are against those "values", though. It's fairly consistent with his views, aside from the whole support of Israel.
- conceptkid, on 06/17/2008, -4/+9Go ahead and ask him those questions, Im sure Ron Paul will educate your stupid ass.
- inactive, on 06/17/2008, -6/+11@chaosium
Very true. The first time I read the description I thought - "wow, this would be the PERFECT party for paul to run in". It fits in very well with his "War on Religion" statements:
-"Through perverse court decisions and years of cultural indoctrination, the elitist, secular Left has managed to convince many in our nation that religion must be driven from public view... The ultimate goal of the anti-religious elites is to transform America into a completely secular nation, a nation that is legally and culturally biased against Christianity."
or, even worse, his delusions about the constitution (which convinced me he was another bible-thumping fundie):
-"The notion of a rigid separation between church and state has no basis in either the text of the Constitution or the writings of our Founding Fathers. On the contrary, our Founders’ political views were strongly informed by their religious beliefs. Certainly the drafters of the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution, both replete with references to God"
Which of course is a complete damn lie, as the document is certainly not "replete" with any kind of references like that, not to mention the fact the most of the founding fathers were deists... - nobody7, on 06/17/2008, -2/+7It was taken down because the account had daily show clips. The Clip itself is fine and can be seen on http://rawreplay.net Upload it to your own youtube account
- Sumbunny, on 06/17/2008, -2/+7I've said all along that I would write Ron Paul in if I had to, but found out that write-ins will be invalidated in most states, including mine. Write-ins won't even count in states whose statutes will allow them because Dr. Paul said he is not filing for write-in status.
With that said....I am leaning heavily toward Constitution Party Chuck Baldwin. He was a very enthusiastic supporter of Ron Paul right up through the primaries, and echos Dr. Paul's stance on the issues. He is also a confirmed speaker for the Revolution Rally in Washington. If you plan to be there, pay close attention to what he has to say. - Guitarzan, on 06/17/2008, -2/+6"This video has been removed due to terms of use violation. "
Damn. - StingingNettle, on 06/17/2008, -2/+5Wow, being tolerant of other religions is a joke to you?
- conceptkid, on 06/17/2008, -4/+7Yes, because Ron Paul is just sitting at his computer waiting to argue with morons like you.
Why don't you go buy Pauls book "Revolution" and maybe figure it out for yourself.
PS. I thought you left digg? What, you were gone for a bout a week? Were you freaking out because you werent able to spread your ***** as much in the real world? Nobody would listen to you in the real world? I would love to see you talk the way you do to real people in real life, face to face, not sitting behind your keyboard. - Guitarzan, on 06/17/2008, -2/+5Here is a working link: http://rawstory.com/rawreplay/?p=1291
- stienster, on 06/17/2008, -3/+6yes he was covered. After he was stripped of any possibilities of acquiring enough coverage to gain delegates. Coverage and fair debate time was only afforded to CFR members. Wake Up.
- StingingNettle, on 06/17/2008, -0/+2I'm not a christian either. I also recognize a "fundi" when I see one, as I went to private fundamentalist school from k thru 12. I will admit that it is a bit odd that they try and attach to their religion to this, however as long as they are excepting of other religions than that is fine with me (which is also an indicator that they are actually not fundamentalists). But thank you for your input.
- inactive, on 06/17/2008, -2/+4Those votes will NOT be counted
- stienster, on 06/17/2008, -1/+3To Hort, Herk, OneTime>>> BTW: who are you voting for and why?
- digitronix, on 06/17/2008, -0/+2Again, you cannot deny the influence of Christianity on the founding of the United States. I don't see why it is so hard to admit. (I am not saying that the US is founded on Christianity, INFLUENCED!!!)
- Hortnon, on 06/17/2008, -3/+5Don't bury pajeff2, he's right. Paul must declare his intention to be a write-in candidate in each state for his write-in votes to count. It's not complicated at all, he just has to declare it.
- rapcrap187, on 06/17/2008, -2/+3Ya know im drunk and im gonna leave another comment but Ron Paul has never deviated from his talk once in the last 30 years. How can you possibly call him a cook when he was the only candidate who hasnt changed his mind a dozen times like Mccain
- oldhick, on 06/18/2008, -1/+2That has to be the funniest thing I've ever read... The Constitution protects regular folks. Its the elite and the rich who've benefited from the two party system.
- badassninja, on 06/19/2008, -0/+1That's not true. I can vote for my mother if I choose. If for no good reason very one voted for paul then he would have to turn down the job. That's why they have a place to write in someone else' name. Not that I think that will happen.
- davymac, on 06/17/2008, -1/+2almost... a little less ignorance, a little more brain power, and i think you might get it... good try
- inactive, on 06/17/2008, -2/+3Digi, that is not true.

Read this, it does a good job of explaining the Lies of Paul.
And whether the "creator" was referring to the Abrahamian god is well debated. Regardless, that pertains to the DOI and NOT the constitution, so yes, it is a complete fabrication on Paul's part. - stienster, on 06/17/2008, -8/+9The FDA is the advertising agency for pharmaceutical companies. Look up NutraSweet for one of their successful food additives.
The Executive Branch now has almost complete control, including ignoring and bypassing Congress.
Abortion "rights" go hand in hand with the atheistic view of evolution. Abortion is promoted by the elite eugenicists to bring down the "serf" populace.
Get your head out of the mafioso government's ass and you might be able to see clearly. - badassninja, on 06/17/2008, -3/+4That's right. I refuse to vote for people that I know for a fact will be bad for the nation. When I am old and gray I will be telling my grand kids about the man Ron Paul who tried to stand up for or freedoms. Sadly by then freedom will be hard to explain to them.
- inactive, on 06/17/2008, -11/+12The constitution party is a big damn joke. Just look at their "party platform" page:
"The Constitution Party gratefully acknowledges the blessing of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ as Creator, Preserver and Ruler of the Universe and of these United States. We hereby appeal to Him for mercy, aid, comfort, guidance and the protection of His Providence as we work to restore and preserve these United States.
This great nation was founded, not by religionists, but by Christians; not on religions but on the Gospel of Jesus Christ. For this very reason peoples of other faiths have been and are afforded asylum, prosperity, and freedom of worship here.
The goal of the Constitution Party is to restore American jurisprudence to its Biblical foundations and to limit the federal government to its Constitutional boundaries....
The U.S. Constitution established a Republic rooted in Biblical law...
The pre-born child, whose life begins at fertilization, is a human being created in God's image. The first duty of the law is to prevent the shedding of innocent blood. It is, therefore, the duty of all civil governments to secure and to safeguard the lives of the pre-born..."
In summary, these guys are just a bunch of religious fundie nutjobs, including their candidate Chuck Baldwin. - Hortnon, on 06/17/2008, -3/+4@digitronix

"Art. 11. As the Government of the United States of America is not, in any sense, founded on the Christian religion;..." - intilli4, on 06/17/2008, -3/+4I know I am going to write in Ron Pauls name when voting.
- digitronix, on 06/17/2008, -1/+2I don't think Ron Paul is a cook, but I hear his wife makes excellent chocolate chip cookies.
- Tatonka322, on 06/17/2008, -2/+2you tube yanked the video!
- digitronix, on 06/17/2008, -2/+2Not quite a damn lie. Turns out that the signers of the Declaration of Independence and the drafters of the Constitution were all Christians (except for Benjamin Franklin). There are references to a Creator (capital C) in the DOE, and this Creator supplies each person with rights that cannot be taken away (life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness).
So you cannot deny the influence of Christianity on the founding of the United States. - inactive, on 06/17/2008, -5/+5Those votes will NOT be counted
- RedPhalanx, on 06/17/2008, -2/+2I hope this article doesn't make the front page AFTER it gets yanked...
- CurtisLow101, on 06/17/2008, -2/+2"This video has been removed due to terms of use violation"
Damn YouTube to he!! l!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! - inactive, on 06/17/2008, -1/+1Why would utube do that? Try this!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0oHIx3SX1yU - Hortnon, on 06/17/2008, -4/+3Excuses, excuses. Grow up.
- Hortnon, on 06/17/2008, -4/+3Doubt it. You know he was making around $100 a day for the last two months of his campaign in donations?
- inactive, on 06/17/2008, -2/+1Son, you just threatened the president, perhaps you should shut up....reported to digg and FBI
- rapcrap187, on 06/17/2008, -3/+2I would never imagine myself as advocating the death of a man but George Dubbaya is not a human being. It's as if we are going against a political Hilldebran I feel like Beowolf and I would kill this man with my bare hands if it would make a difference to this world. George Bush Is the buggiest scum bag in the world enemy #1. I feel sad to be an american!
- inactive, on 06/17/2008, -5/+4What a magnificent straw-man you have built! But alas I must tear it down.
I know this may have gone over your head, but, i'll state it bluntly. The "constitution" party is just another fringe-evangelical party *falsely* stating that this nation was founded upon the "gospel of jesus christ", and goes on to state that they want to "restore American jurisprudence to its Biblical foundations"
Now you can stick your head in the sand and pretend these people don't have a christian agenda, that's your choice. But I've lived in the south long enough to recognize religious fundies when I see them... - rapcrap187, on 06/17/2008, -3/+2G Dubbaya Can't do a jump shot if Israel depended on it
- beebelo, on 06/17/2008, -2/+1That's correct: you are likely to be wasting your vote if you write him in, for the reason given...
The Libertarian Party has the best chance of continuing the message and appealing to the broadest spectrum of voters. Please check them out. -
