24,537 MeetUp members, seems to be picking up. I'll track it to the 24th and do another article. - capstone22, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Ron Paul is officially the Dark Horse......He Will Suprise the Old Media
- riceowlex, on 10/10/2007, -0/+0Make that nearly 46,000 members and closing in on 1000 groups in 738 cities in 19 countries. BTW if your in Houston call the liars shills at KPFT and let them know you'd like to hear segments, talking points concerning Ron Pauls candidacy. 713-526-4000 ask for Ernesto he is the station manager. I've asked and been told that they don't do politics, lastnight Hillary Clinton was on at 11 pm giving her spin to a latino program. Freaking Shills, and I'm a member, not after that!
- TheLastProphet, on 10/11/2007, -4/+4I can see you've never actually listened to Ron Paul or even read this article. You must be a FOX zombie or Centcom op.
The 18th century is what we have now. The devaluation of the currency cripples the middle and lower classes. Immigration will completely kill the middle class.
And corporate monopolies derive from government subsidies and involvement. Actually, enforcement of property rights will increase corporate responsibility.
Every problem in this country is in direct relation to the amount of government involvement.
Personal responsibility derives at the local levels. The more difficult the situation the more local it should be... away from the federal government. Just as the Constitution tells us.
Do your research before saying stupid *****.
Your opinions are meaningless without backing them up with something... anything. - Junkyarddawg, on 10/11/2007, -2/+1Wrong topic.
Take election spam to Election '08, please. - nymphetamine, on 10/11/2007, -4/+1Ron Paul eats babies.
Peter Griffin '08! - popothebright, on 10/11/2007, -5/+2Ron Paul is a devout "believer". He doesn't know his history, and he believes far too strongly in the general "good" of humanity.
A world in which big business runs unchecked, and where the wealthy are totally freed from the burdens of running a society is nothing more than a recipe for re-creating 18th century France (where there were the mega-rich, and a huge seething underclass for whom life was miserable). Ron Paul believes in personal responsiblity -- but he makes no effort to explain how such godlike self-control will be achieved across society. He also "believes" (as if he is born-again) that zero-control over corporations will somehow result in a better life for all Americans.
He is dangerously wrong. Fortunately, only his cult-like fringe, and half of Digg shares his prophecy. (They never argue back, they just Digg down).
The funny thing about the Digg crowd is they support Michael Moore AND Ron Paul, even though the two philosophies are COMPLETELY contradictory.
