- valaw, on 02/08/2008, -8/+107mr. paul didn't blame america first, he blamed american policy, there is a difference. are you sure your first language is english, you don't seem to comprehend it very well.
- inactive, on 02/08/2008, -14/+84I'm a conservative voter who can't figure out the difference between Hillary and McCain.
Go Ron Paul! I'll be pushing for him at the Caucus tomorrow. - poppacherry, on 02/08/2008, -7/+63ron paul is still my man. he might not win, but i admire his drive to make his voice heard. and with 3 left, it seems to be a lot more difficult to just bump him out of the media... oh wait. nvm...
- Ne007, on 02/08/2008, -2/+54DO you people not realize that Ron Paul has been made to look insane by the media?
They say Ron Paul is insane because he states Iraq had nothing to do with 9-11, which is true.
When you know the truth it is EASY to see the media bias and lies. Or maybe, just maybe, we have a bunch of stupid brainwashed people in the media. - phatphing, on 02/08/2008, -5/+55He left out war monger Lieberman.
- jolifam77, on 02/08/2008, -24/+73Very powerful speech. We should give Ron Paul the reins or we're screwed. Well we already are.
- QuantumBios, on 02/08/2008, -10/+50The election is months away. People will continue to gravitate to the campaign, and because it is the only logical, smart, and American solution to the problems we face today, they will stay. I'm calling it for Dr. Paul over a Obama/Hillary ticket. Or even over Bloomberg/Gore. The American People are waking up, and i have a feeling they're gonna be pretty p*ssed about not hearing about Ron Paul earlier.
- plondry, on 02/08/2008, -0/+33"Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11" -- That is when he lost them?"
There were actually a lot of cheers after he said that, I don't think he lost them after that statement.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SGaZsAeMKFo&feature ... - nirvanix, on 02/08/2008, -4/+33Why the hell would Romney drop out - if he held out a little longer McCain would start to unravel - surely he knew this, but I think he was told to drop out. Now with the media reporting McCain as the defacto candidate for the GOP, when he starts to unravel, republicans will flock to the seemingly conservative Hillary. Wow, the NWO is sharp! This was there only way to beat Obama.
PS - it's a shame that everyone is screwing over the one American with a set of balls - Ron Paul. - moonshn, on 02/08/2008, -4/+33Continue to fight the good fight Dr. Paul. I realize we may not have a snowball's chance, but as Dr. Paul said in 2003:
"Let it not be said that no one cared, that no one objected once it's realized that our liberties and wealth are in jeopardy." - solidsnake00, on 02/08/2008, -7/+34Ron Paul has a better chance of winning than most people think. You need a certain amount of delegates to win (around 1,100-1,200) the Republican nomination, and if McCain can't reach that number, then the delegates get to pick for the candidate of their choice. Remember all that spam about signing up to become a delegate? RP supporters just may be crazy enough to have become delegates... if the voting is left to them, it just might so happen that RP would win the nomination in a surprise comeback. It's still a hail mary play, but it's a fighting chance. Don't give up! Support Ron Paul!
- GoatRoper, on 02/08/2008, -10/+35And Obama was never a Muslim. You say it like being a Muslim is bad.
- card51short, on 02/08/2008, -4/+29herky, i haven't been keeping up with politics today...how's your candidate doing?
hahhahahahahahahaha - Hoogs, on 02/08/2008, -6/+29I just admire the guy for not dropping out. He seems to be taking this thing all the way.
- card51short, on 02/08/2008, -4/+27"McCain is the only Republican who would have a chance at winning in November."
No one who says we should be in Iraq for 100 years is going to win over a democrat.
"And Obama was never a Muslim. You say it like being a Muslim is bad."
You should watch out who you associate with, then. Both JCM and Herkimer are fully against the Muslim religion and deride it on almost a daily basis on here. - card51short, on 02/08/2008, -2/+25no, you see, in McCain's twisted fanbase's view, being for endless war is a positive thing.
- deadmoo, on 02/08/2008, -1/+23I just finished listening to his actual speech and that is a serious misrepresentation of the facts.
- inactive, on 02/08/2008, -10/+32Ron Paul has a ceiling of support. Unfortunately, none of his supporters seem to have figured out that in order to get around that they're going to need to reduce the popularity of his opponent(s). A way to reduce McCain's popularity is to videotape his response to this and then upload it to video sharing sites: http://youtube.com/watch?v=YRWRzZ_yPnk
- inactive, on 02/08/2008, -4/+23Yeah, I think the writer is full of *****. I doubt that's what happened.
- card51short, on 02/08/2008, -9/+27He does? Do you have any proof or are you not going to respond at all to this comment?
Even so, you're going to compare such a freedom-loving American like Juan McCain to a vile, scum-of-the-Earth neo nazi like Paul? lol - pintomp3, on 02/08/2008, -5/+22he thinks muslim, black, and liberal are all bad things.
- Singularitarian, on 02/08/2008, -1/+17Party loyalty is such silly, sheep-like behavior, the kind of thing third graders would come up with if they were suddenly in charge of running the country.
- deadmoo, on 02/08/2008, -2/+18http://digg.com/2008_us_elections/Ron_Paul_s_speec ...
- Singularitarian, on 02/08/2008, -5/+20Ron Paul's views on campaign finance can be seen as a corollary of the one moral principle that underlies all libertarian beliefs---the principle that all human interaction should be strictly voluntary.
- yenik, on 04/30/2008, -6/+21I voted, and have worked for Dr. Ron Paul's campaign. Ron Paul 2008!
- Sturmhouse, on 02/08/2008, -3/+17While the media reports that McCain "won" a certain amount of delegates, none of that matters if the GOP is having a brokered convention. Romney may have bowed out in order to prevent a brokered convention for fear of Paul picking up delegates, but there is still the possibility. In addition to the possibilities of a brokered convention, not all of the delegates "won" by McCain are bound by the preference poll taken on the 5th, and could therefore vote for Huckabee, or Paul. Furthermore, in some states delegates haven't even been chosen yet...Like...FLORIDA. Florida has a state caucus in order to actually pick the delegates going to the convention, so it is entirely likely that Huckabee or Paul supporters will be the ones walking into the convention with delegates.
Try to understand the process before you go spouting off about impossibilities. While it's unlikely that Paul will receive the amount of delegates, it's not "impossible." - valaw, on 02/08/2008, -10/+24could be worse, could have been a collaborator for the vietnamese
- maja742, on 02/08/2008, -0/+13romneys trying to come off as a party man, to try to keep in the running for next election
- nomorepaul, on 02/08/2008, -30/+43buried for being racist.
- JLecker, on 02/08/2008, -6/+19Probably because he has a highly-devoted core of supporters--the ones who attend the rallies and donate in the money bombs--but not much support otherwise. Ron Paul is currently a niche candidate, regardless of how popular his supporters think he should be.
- LeRenard, on 02/08/2008, -2/+14Not true, they did it in 2000 and again in 04.
- atheinostic, on 02/08/2008, -2/+14McCain voted against Bush's 2001 tax cuts.
- stealthc, on 02/08/2008, -5/+17They should nominate Ron Paul because it's the right thing to do. I still think that in a fair debate he would eviscerate even Obama. But I think we all know who the media is going to side with. The cartoonish assault on Ron Paul almost every time he comes on screen so far would get even worse, and too many voters have no idea they're being manipulated.
- card51short, on 02/08/2008, -4/+16could of been involved in one of the biggest scams in the 90s
- Minarchian, on 02/08/2008, -11/+23Woah
Deluded you are
McCain has a snow balls chance in Hell against Obama.
And against Hillary he would win...but only because it's against Hillary, not that McCain is worth a *****.
But go back to sleep...I'll wake you when it's all over. - marlinman, on 02/08/2008, -2/+14What's not run of the mill about that?!
- ike1, on 02/08/2008, -3/+15You are misinformed. He said that the Department of Education should be disbanded. It has quadrupled funding (in inflation adjusted dollars) since it's inception in 1965, with no real progress and improvement in our schools. Why take money from the states and send it through the clogged filter of Washington only to send it back to the states and tell them how to spend the money.
Each state knows best how to run it's own schools. Let them keep the money and spend it how they see fit. Cut out the unnecessary bureaucracy. - inactive, on 02/08/2008, -1/+12Wait what? Newt G. was sincere?!? That insinuation makes me chuckle.
- V3n0M, on 02/08/2008, -0/+11I don't know about "you guys", but if you are addressing me, I'm not going to justify how I spend my money to you or anyone. Victory is assured, regardless of who is sitting in the Oval Office next year, you just have a very shortsighted definition of 'victory'.
- minox, on 02/08/2008, -2/+13Everyone boycott CFR members like Warren Beatty, Barbara Walters, Charlie Rose, Michael Douglas, and Katie Couric!
- inactive, on 02/08/2008, -5/+16Feingold is amazing. Only dominator to vote against the Patriot Act in the Senate.
- V3n0M, on 02/08/2008, -2/+13Ron Paul detractors need to understand that there is more to life and more to this campaign, than becoming the next President.
- inactive, on 02/08/2008, -1/+12No they're not. I see nothing wrong with donating to a candidate with whose message you agree.
- p51d007, on 02/08/2008, -4/+15What do you expect. McCain IS a RINO Republican.
Plus, he is still pissed that he didn't get the nomination in 2000, that he will destroy the "conservative"
part of the party, just to get in the white house.
I have voted in every election since 1980, and have voted for the conservative party. I do not trust
McCain, and I think he has a VERY short temper. Someone with a very short temper is NOT someone I would trust who "has his finger on the button" so to speak. - stealthc, on 02/08/2008, -0/+10Produced more HS graduates and more college degrees, making diplomas from both levels utterly meaningless. Nowadays you need a four-year degree just to prove you won't drool on yourself. And even for that it's unreliable.
- crownedgriffin, on 02/08/2008, -4/+14Is it so bad that we actually believe our candidate and believe in his message?
- Minarchian, on 02/08/2008, -3/+13LOL
Or ask him about these fellas: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vFM1xqqTX_g - iwilldigg, on 02/08/2008, -4/+14My man !
- Misinformant, on 02/08/2008, -5/+15Suspicious that his own supporters attend his rallies and the people not voting for him don't?
