- stienster, on 06/29/2008, -1/+22excerpt: "The US and Israel accuse Tehran of making efforts to produce nuclear weapons; Iran insists its nuclear program is directed at peaceful purposes.
The most recent UN nuclear watchdog report on Tehran's nuclear program, however, has conceded that there is no link between the use of nuclear material and 'the alleged studies' of weaponization attributed to Iran by Western countries.
"This is unbelievable! This is closing down Iran. Where do we have this authority? Where do we get the moral authority? Where do we get the international legality for this? Where do we get the Constitutional authority for this?" asked Paul."
I condemn these sanctions against the sovereign nation of Iran, being planned for no legitimate reason. I condemn these acts of all congress members, senate members, and the presiding administration, and call for an immediate cease and desist of any and all acts of aggression against Iran, including sanctions, blockages, seizure of funds, and all military incursions. - kemp34, on 06/30/2008, -0/+9If the Bush-Pelosi government (not representing the American people, but a rogue outfit of corrupt douche bags) proceeds to attack Iran, the world as we have come to know it is over.

"I would say that the likelyhood of military action against Iran is 100 percent." -- Neoconservative Frank Gaffney {set to Cat Stevens' *Peace Train*}
music seems to be missing...damn! - Truzseeker, on 06/30/2008, -0/+4No one seems to take into consideration what action Russia and China will take.
- zekielkahn, on 06/30/2008, -0/+4Well, we all know, there are no answers in politics. It is time to take control. Get off the Grid and get energy independent, ASAP.
All other plausible remedy other than Armed Revolution, is nearly exhausted.
Last chance for a peaceful protest, actually working, is to vote with your wallet and vote with your feet. GET OFF THE GRID.
Get energy and self sufficient. Start NOW!!! - inactive, on 06/30/2008, -0/+3It works, it's less missing with the audio on!!!!
- inactive, on 07/02/2008, -1/+1Dugg it, but I can't relax...It's a show and we are scripted to be destroyed.
- chaimke, on 07/01/2008, -1/+1Relax, all sides are saber rattling hoping the other will blink first. Wars are not conducted by giving the enemy advance notice as the Americans and Israelis have done. America is up to its neck and cannot open up a third front, the Pentagon kids may want to prolong their game but even they know they would have an impossible time sustaining it.
Israel, in spite (or maybe because!) of Allmerde's ineptitude, has too many problems with Hezbollah and Hamas (Iran's puppets, don't deny it!) on its doorstep to engage in war with a country it does not even share a border with.
Having said all that, do I believe war is impossible? Of course not! It is, however, very unlikely under present conditions.
Let's also think about this, as much as the West is terribly dependent on Arab oil, the Arab despots are more dependent on PetroDollars and PetroEuros. If we developed our own oil and alternative energy resources we will cut them down to size, but Congress won't allow it... Wonder who's greasing their palms?
