Ron Paul Favors Obama over McCain
politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com — Let's be honest. This is neither surprising nor news, but it contains both Obama AND Ron Paul. Digg should be all over this.

- MotherGinSling, on 05/03/2008, -1/+4"Paul recently released a new book titled “The Revolution: a Manifesto.” “Unfortunately, it is revolutionary to talk about obeying the Constitution,” Paul said of the book’s title." Wolf Blitzer, taking issue with the word "manifesto", is such a toadstool. I'm glad to see Ron Paul prevail against the GOP's vigorous efforts to suppress his voice. He embarrassed their presumptive nominee in the Pennsylvania primary.
- Gaming4JC, on 05/04/2008, -7/+3I have a hard time believing any of this, and it is not official Ron Paul blog. Burried as inaccurate.
Vote for Ron Paul and stand up for your freedoms!- monoloco, on 05/04/2008, -1/+6How could it be inaccurate? It's a video of Ron Paul making this statement...now I'll admit, it's not meant to be taken as an endorsement, but even in context, it's clear that Ron Paul prefers Obama over the other two. That's all.
- bohemianowl, on 05/04/2008, -6/+2foreign policy only. But he said there isn't much difference. IMO Hillary, Obama and McCain are all puppets.
- dn11, on 05/05/2008, -0/+3but foreign policy is kinda, sorta, the most important issue facing the nation right now. it is our foreign policy that has ruined our domestic policy as well - whether your are a Liberal or Libertarian, I think everyone agrees on that point.
- monoloco, on 05/05/2008, -0/+1Actually, from what I've seen from polls, most people consider the economy the biggest issue, but considering just how expensive this war and future wars would be, a noninterventionist foreign policy and economic restraint go hand in hand, at least from Paul's point of view.
But yes, he did say there isn't a huge difference. All my headline stated was that he prefers Obama to McCain...and if they're all the same but he likes Obama's foreign policy better, then guess what, it's true.

- Anator, on 05/04/2008, -3/+1Wrong. He just favors obama's foreign policy. Ya but i see what you are doing there.
- lsumed, on 05/04/2008, -2/+2If Ron Paul endorses Obama, there goes the youth vote.
- eyepatch100, on 05/05/2008, -0/+1there goes the neighborhood...

But ya, the headline is really misleading. - xonahuia, on 05/06/2008, -1/+1McCain & Clinton '08
- spacedog800, on 05/06/2008, -0/+0I'm surprised not more people are interested in Paul. He is a multiple term congressman from Texas. He declined to take part in the lucrative congressional pension plan and that end of the year he gives some of his earnings back to the treasury. He is against the IRS and income tax (which was a product of the depression). I mean hes such a statesman not a politician. He cares more about the country than he does party ties.
