- angrygalactus, on 01/26/2008, -0/+16The Alabama Republican Assembly is a grass-roots volunteer organization chartered by the National Federation of Republican Assemblies. The NFRA was founded in 1997 to promote conservative values and principles in the Republican Party.
Ronald Reagan referred to the NFRA as “the conscience if the Republican Party.” - Orwig, on 01/27/2008, -0/+8This train took some time to get rolling down the tracks, but now that it has some steam, there's no stopping it. RON PAUL for PRESIDENT!

The Republican Party in it's present form is nothing but a democratic welfare state group of war monger weasels. They want Mitt Romney to buy the election because he can be completely manipulated in office. He is a utter fake of a republican.
I was called a nut for pushing Reagan in 76. I think I'll stay a nut case thank you very much. - darkfrog13, on 01/27/2008, -0/+5We could really use the momentum of a few wins coming out of Super Tuesday!!

...with a growing minority of constitutionalists working hard to take it back.
This almost happened twice before, first when Ronald Reagan beat George Preppie Pompous Ass High-falutin' Bush (the smug bastard who coined the phrase "voodoo economics" to disparage the free market), and then again with the Newt Gingrich "contract with America" wave in the congress. The country-clubbers managed to get control of the party back, though.
