- Corrosionx, on 01/11/2008, -0/+8You must be new here.
- Pebcak, on 01/11/2008, -0/+8You are entitled to your opinion. But would you care to discuss what he mentioned that you specifically disagree with and why, rather than simply berating him?
- ryanm424, on 01/11/2008, -2/+9That answer kicked ass! Hopefully, it woke up some of the older republican voters to what they used to preach and where we are today. Like rediscovering the wheel.
- j.carcinogen, on 01/11/2008, -0/+7They edited this in the replay of the debate. http://www.ronpaulforums.com/showthread.php?t=8649 ...
- Pebcak, on 01/11/2008, -1/+7Wait... anger and hate? He's telling everyone else we need to step back and quit being so aggressive toward Iran. We should TALK and TRADE with people. Promote our own freedoms so others will emulate us. So what is hateful about being the only GOP candidate to denounce war without declaration? To examine our past policies and make educated decisions on the results and unintended consequences. I am a soldier and I support peace. This is the only Republican candidate in this election that I could ever endorse.
- AustinMandi, on 01/11/2008, -4/+10This is the third time I have seen this tonight. It just keeps getting better.
- cheese06, on 01/11/2008, -0/+6This is by far the best Ron Paul reply I have heard yet. He really got me thinking with regards to the idea of blowback. And no, I am not an avid Ron Paul supporter other than his monetary policy which I totally agree with him on.
- Pebcak, on 01/11/2008, -1/+7Looks like Fox cut this question out of the replay. This really needs attention.
- cdueck, on 01/11/2008, -1/+6Notice how the other candidates shuffle and show nervous ticks while Paul talks about borrowing money to fund the wars?
- magoghm, on 01/11/2008, -0/+4We already tried that. Many of us, and very often.
Nobody has ever been able to get a coherent statement out of Herkimer56. - RUFuKinCrazy, on 01/11/2008, -0/+4Sure, I would like to try. Please provide name and address here. :)
- ryanm424, on 01/11/2008, -3/+6That's either Romney or Guiliani, pretty sure its Rudy because I've heard Romney display a succinctly different laugh at times.
- inactive, on 01/11/2008, -1/+4You couldn't be more wrong. It's for love of life and liberty. We are angry that lives and freedoms are being stolen.
(Love + Situation) = (hate & anger & resentment & depression) - zackmario, on 01/12/2008, -0/+3Fox got the orig video removed from you tube.
Here was the orig digg link
http://digg.com/2008_us_elections/Cut_from_re_air_ ... - nicky7, on 01/11/2008, -0/+1I felt like digging you down for citing his ability to hear as being a reason to disqualify him. The rest of it was just your opinion and I"m not about to join the childishness of the RP bury brigade just because I don't share your opinion, but I at least had to express my opinion that including his ability to 'hear' was pretty ridiculous.
(I must be wearing my polite hat today *shrug*) - u2wedge, on 01/12/2008, -0/+1I'm just saying that he looked clumsy, and his mumbling afterward instead of speaking out didn't help him.
- unlawflcombatnt, on 01/14/2008, -0/+1This video has been posted at least one other time on YouTube, and Fox had it removed. Fox hates Ron Paul, due to his anti-Corporate positions and the prospects of a President Paul returning power to the people--instead of letting it remain in the hands of rich Corporations (like Fox).
Paul's strength is not in debate--it's in his ideas and the positions he takes (and votes for) on issues. Paul is not a professional politician. He's a statesman. He's a true representative of the people, and not just a shill for America's Corporate plutocracy. I disagree with Paul on many issues. But I agree with him on far more. Paul has voted against every single "free" trade bill that has come to a vote in Congress. He's even introduced legislation for withdrawal from the WTO. Paul has voted against every single bill allowing amnesty for illegal immigrants. Paul has opposed the Iraq war from the outset, and at every point in between. Paul has railed against Corporate power and Corporate welfare. Paul has opposed the excessive power of the commercial banking and investment banking industries. Paul has spoken at length about the shortcomings and mistakes of the Federal Reserve. In fact, Paul thinks it should be abolished. Paul has spoken out against torture, and the trampling of civil liberties and the Constitution by the Bush administration.
I'm not a conservative, or even a moderate. But I'm voting for Ron Paul if he's on the ballot. He'll do more for the country than any of the Republicans running, and more than either Clinton or Obama.

--------------- - magoghm, on 01/11/2008, -1/+2No. We can do that to you. We'd lose all the entertainment. All serious debates need a clown.
- Allegiance, on 01/12/2008, -0/+1he said under his breath to romney something like, "yeah, make fun buddy." As for his not being able to hear, he's never had a problem before. An old tactic I've seen is to turn the sound monitor down. I know people in bands, and if they don't have their monitors set correctly (loud enough) they can't hear themselves, or others through the mikes.

http://www.freeatlast2008.com/ - u2wedge, on 01/11/2008, -11/+4Unfortunately to many, Ron Paul will be the new Admiral Stockdale. I felt sorry for him. Has anyone translated what he said under his breath in response to Romney's attack about reading the press releases from the Iranian prez? Don't get me wrong, he's sharp but we need someone who can 1. hear, and 2. not act so willy nilly and project some strength. I've listened to George Bush in his defensive tones for years and cannot imagine listening to Paul for another 4. Just my opinion.
- inactive, on 01/11/2008, -8/+1RP has been whining the same gloom and doom for 20 years, minimum. It is ALWAYS about what is wrong (to him), when really it is what is wrong WITH him. There is never anything positive. The world is crap, race wars are coming, bitch moan whine and complain. That is ALL he does, period.
Check out his supporters, and you get more of the same. Nothing but hate, anger, resentment, and depression. There is always some nut willing to tap into the loser mentality, and a small group of losers looking for someone to tell them its not their fault their life sucks. - inactive, on 01/11/2008, -15/+6That would be me. Wanna try?
- inactive, on 01/11/2008, -17/+4That was an inane and virtually incomprehensible answer but it did answer the question about his electability. He's not electable. I'm not even sure after that answer if he should be allowed out of his house without a nurse in attendance.
