- scudiac, on 10/10/2007, -1/+15why did they take down the poll after the debate?
- detuneyourradio, on 10/10/2007, -0/+14"Why don't we just open up the constitution and READ IT???"
Best quote ever. - ClayT2, on 10/10/2007, -0/+11Ron Paul's post debate interviews tonight clearly show the cable tv pundits - including Chris Matthews - are warming up to him. This is most encouraging. Find them on The Daily Paul website.
- SubVet, on 10/10/2007, -0/+8The polls always seem to go away when the answers are not what they are looking for... Just ask Pajamas...
- novalux, on 10/10/2007, -1/+9MSNBC has a poll up and Ron Paul is kicking ass of course!

Well almost. It would be laughable if it wasn't so frightening. I knew the MSM was adept at covering up what they didn't want seen, but I really had no idea until the past few months exactly how adept they can be at HIDING the news.
Sad. - Vitacore, on 10/10/2007, -0/+6Holy crap. We dominated.
- unknownlogik, on 10/10/2007, -0/+6thats a dumb question.
- d1eforyorr1ghts, on 10/10/2007, -0/+6OK debate over.
Now we can go back to "real life" and pretend McCain, Giuliani, Romney and F. Thompson actually won it. /sarcasm - imagerymember, on 10/10/2007, -0/+5These debates are a joke, an insult, and an abuse of the trust that the American Public HAS to put in the media monopolies.
Mathews no more wants Ron Paul to be the nominee than does the Republican Establishment. The only difference is that Mathews knows that Dr. Paul would wax the floor with Hillary, whereas the tyrants in the GOP want to have their War and their FED and their IRS, and Dr. Paul would have an end to them all. Imho, Mathews lipservice to the good doctor was as fake as just about everything else he says. One of the only questions he got asked was which of the other candidates he would support if he didn't get nominated. A joke, and a travesty. - zenith191, on 10/10/2007, -0/+5It seemed at first that the moderators were on Ron Paul's side by asking economic questions that he is most knowledgeable on; such as the weak dollar. Thereby giving him a place to shine and a place for all the other dope candidates to stumble. Then when I thought how much Dr.Paul must be fuming inside I realized that perhaps they were doing this so that the good doctor would lose his cool on national television. By having to listen to these twits espouse that the President doesn't require Congressional approval to go to war . No such luck. Unlike Romney who was overheard to be muttering something while Dr.Paul spoke, the good doctor is civil and did not take their bait to entrap and label him.
As a side note if you watched the live streaming coverage they did not cut to commercials. At the end I watched McCain prepare to go live. You could overhear an adviser commenting that he should just say the 0% interest rate thing was a joke. Credit to McCain, he may know nothing about monetary policy but he did rebuke the adviser and said he would stand by his comment. Whether he did or not I can not say as I did not stay around to watch. - chessmasterjoe, on 10/10/2007, -0/+5Ron Paul said more in the 4 minutes they gave him then all the rest did in 2 hours.
- allyinoh, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3Romney said, "I'd consult my lawyers," when asked about invading Iran. Are you kidding me? If Dean's scream did him in, this stupid ass answer should do Romney in.
- IcerC, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2People in CNBC are thinking: those darn computer hackers!!
Chris and Ron sitting in a tree K... good chat with him though. - razoraz, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2I'm sure they took down the poll as soon as they saw the "Ron Paul" landslide. News outlets are quite aware by now, that especially online, they will get deluged by his supporters who are very well organized. (I heard a couple news writers on NPR this morning even say so. The LA Times writer whose name I didn't remember almost said "he's unelectable" but then said "well, anything can happen")
I think it's pretty obvious who has the only motivated crowd of supporters - when there is a debate on the first thing we think of is "Where can I vote in a poll"? I think this cheapens the results tho - they may as well not run these results if they are going to get a vast majority of RP supporters voting every single time - it doesn't mean everybody who watched thought he won, only that our limited sample are the only ones who care a lot about making our voice heard. - thehedonist, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1CNBC explination for pulling poll !! http://www.cnbc.com/id/21257762
- heyerstandards, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1I love that scowl that Ron Paul gave the other candidates when he reminded them of the trouble our country gets into when it ignores the Constitution.
