Ron Paul Claims Pelosi Spiked Iran Bill

newsmax.com — Representative Ron Paul says House Speaker Nancy Pelosi removed a section from a bill passed by Congress which would have barred the U.S. from going to war with Iran without a congressional vote, claiming she did so at the behest of the leadership of Israel and AIPAC.

      Has anyone ever stop to think how anyone who does anything that AIPAC doesn't like is labeled anti-semitic? Even non-Israelis have have more freedom to debate/criticize Israeli policy in Israel than we do here in the U.S.

If you think Obama is going to be any different in terms of Middle East foreign policy, just check out what he had to say to get AIPAC's blessing recently.

    Israel is one of the most repressive nations in dealing with its minority of non-Jews. We put sanctions on South Africa for the same kind of behavior, but we give Israel $2-3 billion in foreign aid every year, mostly military. Go figure!

    Ron Paul was our best hope for cutting the ties to this international pariah, Israel, but most Americans just didn't get it. We're in for some hard, hard times, especially if/when they drag us into a war with Iran.
