- rarson, on 02/01/2008, -0/+3Is that an actual TV ad? It was pretty good. About a billion times better than that first New Hampshire ad with the really crappy actors.
- OldGuyFox, on 02/01/2008, -0/+2I don't think it was made by the campaign. But whoever made it is a genius! They need to hire this guy.
- lOvOl, on 02/01/2008, -3/+5Obama has a more liberal voting record than Ted Kennedy. In fact, in the last year he had the most liberal voting record of anyone in the Senate.
What this says is either one of two things:
(1) He is a die-hard liberal who talks about "bringing in Independents and Republicans", but is not being sincere about it because his record doesn't match up with this rhetoric. In other words, he is just a more attractive version of Hillary Clinton minus the baggage she carries from many more years of politicking with her husband.
(2) His votes in the Senate are calculated to appeal only to the hardcore liberal base of the Democratic party (the ones who blog and read the news), while he hopes his moderated rhetoric will be all that matters to mainstream Americans who watch the mainstream media and have absolutely no clue as to what his voting record entails.
My guess is that Obama is a smooth talking socialist, just like Hillary, and seeing them argue about policy is like watching McCain and Romney argue about the Iraq War in that the only differences between the candidates are cosmetic. - esantipapa, on 01/31/2008, -2/+3Let's hope we can see that obvious future... and avoid it.
- mcintoshbill, on 02/01/2008, -0/+0The guy who made this is a friend of mine. I agree: he is a genius and a big supporter of freedom. My son is in the video too. He's a 9 year old gung-ho Ron Paul supporter. Kids are smarter than most adults give them credit for!
