- Grantismo, on 01/08/2008, -7/+57In Michigan, Romney supporters rip Ron Paul signs out of the ground or put "is a racist" stickers on them :(
- inactive, on 01/08/2008, -11/+47MITT ROMNEY IS DICK CHENEY - almost no difference!!!
- fatbert, on 01/08/2008, -4/+37Romney is a douche.
- smacksaw, on 01/08/2008, -5/+29Ron Paul was accepting black Americans for far longer than the Mormons were...
- smacksaw, on 01/08/2008, -7/+31Ron Paul supporters yank McCain signs and replace with...copies of the constitution, x10
Rudy Giuliani supporters yank McCain signs and replace with..."9/11" written in blood of patriots in the snow
Mike Huckabee supporters yank McCain signs and replace with...Chick tracts
Duncan Hunter supporters yank McCain signs and replace with...Blackwater job applications
I've managed to piss everyone off now...what's that site to track the top Digg down stats again, LOL? - TheTaoOfBill, on 01/08/2008, -1/+23Well other than a lot more hair gel.
- dachiefsman, on 01/08/2008, -2/+14I like how the McCain people "recorded" the Romney contingent ripping out the signs......that showed 'em
- PhoneGuy, on 01/08/2008, -0/+12I think you would be suprised at how many people vote based on whose name on the ballot looks the most familiar.
- woohhaa, on 01/08/2008, -0/+11When I was a kid my favorite prank around election time was to collect all the signs in town we could and put them in one person's yard.
- Navicerts, on 01/08/2008, -1/+12They were 100% correct in what they did, well played imo.
Replacing signs that a couple hundred people might read (to no effect) = 0 votes
Recording Romney supporters pulling signs for McCain and posting it for tens of thousands of people to see = ? votes
Hmm, what am I missing in this post.... Oh yea; Vote Ron Paul! - popstop785, on 01/08/2008, -6/+16I saw Ron Paul supporters burning other people's signs.
To be honest though, the Ron Paul people are really starting to scare me more and more every day. In my eyes it is the people who are making him look bad to me.
Watch me get flamed for stating my opinion because I don't want to marry the guy. That is why those supporters/people scare me. - Ineedanap, on 01/08/2008, -1/+9I dont know about NH, but its also likely very illegal. Those signs are the legal property of the mccain campaign, hence they are STEALING THEM ON TAPE. Those involved should be prosecuted, weather I like either candidate or not(which I dont, both douches in my book).
"choice between a giant douche and and giant turd." - sotopheavy, on 01/08/2008, -0/+8I would say the same about Guiliani, McCain and Huckabee. Huckabee doesn't have civil rights as an issue on his website.
- kete00, on 01/08/2008, -2/+10These Romney supporters should be ashamed. They aren't nearly as good at guerrilla tactics as the Ron Paul supporters.
- cphelps, on 01/08/2008, -0/+7The point is that those are fringe lunatics, and each candidate has some of those. You're just trying to swing votes from people who base their decision on digg comments.
- StuffOfInterest, on 01/08/2008, -0/+6Happens all the time. Before the '04 elections I would see whole streets switch between rows of Bush and Kerry signs on an almost daily basis.
- Bagos1, on 01/08/2008, -7/+12Hey, get Hannity on this one so he can decry the lunatics.....oh wait a minute, that would only be it were Paul supporters
- Navicerts, on 01/08/2008, -3/+8Let's not drag religion into this, I doubt Romney would support this action (not that I like Romney), it would only be bad press for him.
- Teku, on 01/08/2008, -0/+5Sort of messed up but I know it is a pretty common practice. A friend of mine went out one night while working for a local campaign and destroyed hundreds of signs as revenge for someone destroying hundreds of their candidate's signs. Another common move is to put their signs in, how shall we say, less then desirable locations? You know strip joints, abortion clinics, etc.
- bjs3171, on 01/08/2008, -0/+5why the ***** is every sign the same navy blue? Obama should be making his signs bright ***** orange. OR, try the other color in the flag, red. it's called marketing, people, take a class.
- reuscel, on 01/08/2008, -4/+9Romney is such an unbelievable douchebag. He really seems to think he's the next Ronald Reagan, when in fact political failure is in his genes. ***** off, Romney. This country doesn't want you as its president.
- PeppermintPig, on 01/08/2008, -0/+4Looks to me as if the lady wasn't taking the signs down for school policy reasons, or she was just being selective while Romney goons followed her and put in their signs...
If this is the case, then this isn't the first time we've seen supporters of the Romney campaign doing a little sign grabbing. - mchavez, on 01/08/2008, -0/+4Can you explain what is a racist in your own words and how Ron Paul is racist?
- UGM2099, on 01/08/2008, -2/+6"You're a Mormon"
-Dr. Drew - ostracize, on 01/08/2008, -0/+3Pics or it didn't happen
- FatherDEath, on 01/08/2008, -0/+3its worse my family has some friendly ties to congressman Jeff Flake and when the las election came he ran against Stan Barns which happened to be one of my neighbors( which we wernt to fond of) so we ended up puting Jeff flake signs in our yard every day we would have to ask for more cause during the night some one would burn the signs and there plastic and made our grass catch on fire
- laserblazer, on 01/08/2008, -1/+4Mitt Romney destroys economies.
- danielwsmithee, on 01/08/2008, -1/+4One thing about Romney is he is very intelligent there is no way that he would approve of this especially right in front of a video camera. However this film could just as easily been a production of McCain supporters, just as the push poll fiasco could have been a production of Romney's. You never know who is behind stuff like this all you can go by is what they say about the issues.
- ductormalef, on 01/08/2008, -2/+5I agree that it's lame, but It's not like Romney did it or condoned it. Oh, and people on both sides do this in case you were wondering. It is just people who never mentally left Junior High.
- way2muchsense, on 01/08/2008, -0/+3Rather, Darth Cheney's Sith apprentice.
- geoboy, on 01/08/2008, -0/+3I'm a Ron Paul supporter and I have to agree with you. Some people are just way too passionate about some things for all the wrong reasons and will act uncivilized and with total disregard to the detriment of their own cause. Though I do think many of his supporters act the way they do mainly because of the suppression of him from the mainstream media. I guess in the eyes of those fanatical supporters, any way to spark publicity and name recognition for Paul is good publicity. Too bad they don't understand how they're doing more harm than good.
- bffoley, on 01/08/2008, -0/+3Ha! At the intersection near where I work, the Ron Paul people put their signs right in front of all the other signs. That way the other signs are still there but you can't read them unless you're looking in your rear-view mirrors.
- Navicerts, on 01/08/2008, -0/+3S-M-R-T?
- adjustafresh, on 01/08/2008, -2/+5BLANKET STATEMENT WITH NO EVIDENCE TO SUPPORT IT! - almost no difference!!!
- imakeart4u, on 01/08/2008, -0/+3he's so done.
- skippyatuw, on 01/08/2008, -3/+6I don't get the point of a bunch of signs to begin with. Who has ever looked at a bumber sticker and was like "gosh darnit, I've been wrong this whole time." This just comes down to too may people have too much time on thier hands.
- Ineedanap, on 01/08/2008, -0/+3you need to clarify, the paul haters already took those terms for paul supporters.
- bluerei, on 01/08/2008, -0/+3Totally makes sense since BYU is in New Hampshire.
- zomgflamer, on 01/08/2008, -1/+4Nut jobs, retards, inexperienced and fanatics. There I summed it up for those who have no clue whats going on.
- coinman987, on 01/08/2008, -1/+4Your probally as dumb as George W Bush. That's as low as can go.
- inactive, on 01/08/2008, -0/+3Mitt Romney is a dumb ass, plain and simple. He gets owned by everyone in the debates, like the medical one for example. His manipulative and charismatic traits fools people into voting for this joke.
Oh and if i see anyone pick a Ron Paul sign, i would seriously start a fight. - GeneralLedger, on 01/08/2008, -0/+3It is truly unfortunate that your skills as a marketing guru are not being put to better use.
- RobertJoseph17, on 01/08/2008, -1/+3That's true though, where's the proof?
- janeuner, on 01/08/2008, -0/+2Sorta like standing in front of Bill O'Reilly's camera?
- winmywii, on 01/08/2008, -2/+4Is this illegal?
- Devrdander, on 01/08/2008, -0/+2its a turd sandwich ;-)
- lebruf, on 01/08/2008, -0/+2au contraire, he probably has one of the largest groups of non-paid supporters.
he's no Ron Paul in stirring up grass roots support, but the large number of Mormon who make up his supporters are very used to unpaid volunteer work as just about everyone in the church serves in some type of capacity, and nobody is paid. Just the facts.
/waiting for ignorant bigoted comment referencing religion - laserblazer, on 01/08/2008, -0/+2That's what I thought when Bush humiliated himself in the debate against Gore.
- TsuruchiBrian, on 01/08/2008, -2/+4This is way more unethical than Ron Paul supporters chasing Sean Hannity down the street screaming "Fox News sucks". In fact that was not only what I consider patriotic, but pretty damn funny.
