- jackelsmack, on 10/12/2007, -2/+13Here it is folks, witness the dawning of a new Denialist Legend. Thirty years from now we'll be hearing "Well you know Saddam's nukes were buried in Syria by Osama's ninjas" from the same people who are convinced today that Jane Fonda lost the Vietnam war or that Bill Clinton had Vince Foster killed.
- EntropyMan, on 10/12/2007, -5/+15Entirely possible = No ***** Way.
Here's how it would have gone, had it been true and Saddam survived:
Saddam: "Okay, Syria, now give them back, or I'll hit with you with all I've got..."
Syria: [crickets] - etg1109, on 10/12/2007, -6/+16You are so NWO its ridiculous....But thats why your on Hanity and Comes...good luck getting anyones vote
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+9It's also entirely possible Romney is a total moron.........
- EntropyMan, on 10/12/2007, -0/+8Neither make much sense. Russia and Syria had nothing to gain and everything to lose. Russia doesn't need aging WMD (they have their own). Syria wouldn't take the risk, given we were invading their neighbor for WMD, that a clue would be found and they would be next. They're not suicidal.
What makes infinitely more sense is that BushCo wanted to invade, and so it relied on Iraqis who would say anything to make it happen. It's the same MO with all of the faulty intelligence -- some twit with an ulterior motive (money, revenge, power) and Dick Cheney unwilling to separate truth from fiction.
Oh, and if there are lots of reports, you could include a link to anything credible next time. - Condottieri, on 10/12/2007, -2/+7@EnthopyMan
Yes, they were baptizing the dead, including haulocaust victims, but at the request of Jewish representatives, they stopped doing it and deleted all of the records of jewish baptisms.
So it doesn't go on nearly every day of the week, and there were only a couple hundred thousand done before they repealed and deleted the names. - bitcloud, on 10/12/2007, -2/+6and it's "Entirely Possible" that bush isn't the biggest ***** the western world has ever seen...
not likely for sure, but "Entirely Possible" - EntropyMan, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4Do you have a link for that? Because the last information I had is that it didn't stop.
And did they only stop for Holocaust victims or for all of the names of the dead? - EntropyMan, on 10/12/2007, -5/+8Yes, Mormons have reportedly done so, for example, for people who died in the Holocaust. Surviving family members are generally disgusted by it.
It's obviously a baptism in name only, but it goes on nearly every day of the week. Millions so far. - Waiting2awake, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2 At what point in time does the Republican neocons get honourary Ostrich award? Have these guys ever met a fact they have run away from?
The only thing stranger than seeing a neocon politician verbally tapdance around an issue is the passion their supports will throw behind them.
Ohh well, at least I get to use the "I told ya so!" line with so many people... - FearMEiDEA, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1It's entirely possible that the monkey's who are going to fly out of my butt arrived here in ufo's.
- Waiting2awake, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Iran wants to control the region? How do you figure? Have they invaded another country yet? That is usually a good sign of trying to conquer an area. If only we had an example of some country invading, then we could tell whom is trying to control the area....
- Condottieri, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1No, I don't have a link, I was just paraphrasing the documentary "The Mormons", which aired on PBS.
That, plus I'm a Mormon. :) - aceg1357, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Actually I didn't give a link because quite honestly if someone is interested, they will do the google search and look at things for themselves. I guess that isn't you.
- appleann1, on 10/12/2007, -5/+6Wouldn't that also be Harry Reid's (D NV) faith?
- LiveFastDieOld, on 10/12/2007, -8/+9Two questions:
(1) Mormons forcibly baptized people?
(2) Is that really the most cuckoo detail you could come up with involving the Mormon religion? Because I could name some cuckooer things, I bet. - OneManArmy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1"Romney: It’s ‘Entirely Possible’ That Saddam Had WMD And Hid Them In Syria "
These guys will say just about anything as long as they are safe in their homes and loads of money in the bank. IT IS NOT A GAME. HOMES ARE BEING DESTROYED AND CHILDREN DIE. *****! - EntropyMan, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1"Why can't I find conservative sites that post short video clips to bash liberals?"
You don't get Fox where you live? Too bad. - totorototoro, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Comedy gold.
- EntropyMan, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1@Gopher, Syria is Sunni and Iraq is Shia. Neither is an arm of the other.
And btw, Reagan/Bush sold arms to Iran too, and in violation of US law.
I'd much rather that no one did, but we're hardly the ones to point fingers. - EntropyMan, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1That sounds painful. When did you begin to notice UFOs flying INTO your butt?
- rougepanther, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Don't you guys know anything? Sadam buried all of his WMD's in the desert, and he plans on using them on us! The video of him being executed was too fuzzy, and people didn't realize it was a stunt double. Sadam is right now, as we speak, digging his WMD's out of the ground, he never sent them to Syria because he knew he would never get them back..
/sarcasm - slapout, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Try hotair.com
- Gophergreg, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1"Russia and Syria had nothing to gain and everything to lose. Russia doesn't need aging WMD (they have their own). Syria wouldn't take the risk, given we were invading their neighbor for WMD, that a clue would be found and they would be next. They're not suicidal."
Russia was selling arms and technical expertise to Iraq in violation of UN agreements. Syria is just an arm of Iran, which wants to control the entire region. It's very likely that Romney is right. He isn't the only source for this information. But feel free to believe anything you want. Strap on the tinfoil hat and go nuts. - TheFederalist, on 10/12/2007, -3/+1Once again, thinkprogress spewing out crap against it's enemies with absolutely no journalistic integrity.
First of all, the subject of WMD's being moved lasted all of 4 seconds out of an entire dialogue, at which point it wasn't even the subject of discussion.
Secondly, there's nothing wrong with saying it was entirely possible. The article uses the argument, "Mr. Duelfer reported that the Iraq Survey Group, believed “it was unlikely that an official transfer of W.M.D. material from Iraq to Syria took place.” - does anyone know what "UNLIKELY" means??? It means not probable, but POSSIBLE.
Why can't I find conservative sites that post short video clips to bash liberals? - LiveFastDieOld, on 10/12/2007, -5/+2It's different with Harry Reid. Yes, he's a Mormon, but he's also the former Chairman of the Nevada Gaming Commission. And what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas.
- shawnfassett, on 10/12/2007, -12/+7Romney believes in a "faith" that baptized Jews after the Holocaust...he's cuckoo for stupid.
- aceg1357, on 10/12/2007, -8/+2There are a lot of reports that Russia/Syria helped move WMD. How much stock you put into them is up to you. We will all find out in 50 years or so. But it is a possibility. More of a possibility that Bush the diabolical genius killing 3000 Innocent Americans on 9/11 and kept it all a secret.
- LiveFastDieOld, on 10/12/2007, -15/+6I have some really, really depressing news for you:
(A) Contrary to all logic and reason, "Hannity & Colmes" is actually a popular television program enjoyed by many crazy elderly registered voters.
(B) Romney is also appearing on other politically oriented television programs. For example, all of them.
(C) Not only does Romney have a chance to get more than anyone's vote, he currently leads the field among likely voters in the NH primary: http://www.boston.com/news/nation/articles/2007/05/08/romney_leads_gop_contenders_in_a_nh_poll/
Personally, I don't have a preference regarding whom Obama is going to beat.
