Republicans can win ONLY if Ron Paul is their candidate, and I'm not even a Ron Paul fanboy (I'm split between Paul, Obama, and Kucinich if he progresses that far). Stop dreaming. And oh, I'm Christian too, but it's insane to put religion ahead of political platform- nicholai, on 11/26/2007, -0/+1Obama is no better than a neocon. Dennis Kucinich, Ron Paul and Mike Gravel are the only honest candidates in this race.
- RebelRoss0587, on 11/10/2007, -4/+1A large group of Mitt supporters are organizing an event to collect pledges and raise money online for Mitt. We are having it on the 7th of December and the website is http://www.december7thformitt.com/
We would love to get as many Mitt supporters behind this as we can, so please publicize this on your blogs and wherever else you can, thanks!- nicholai, on 11/26/2007, -0/+1You must be joking, you want us to donate money to a rich neocon? I will be giving my money to Ron Paul.
- cashman57, on 11/15/2007, -2/+2Why doesn't Mitt just loan himself another $8 million?
He doesn't need fundraisers. - JShope, on 11/29/2007, -0/+1This election should clue in all of you Digg fandom -- Ron Paul is your ideal candidate, but he won't get the nomination. Despite all of the rhetoric and gainsaying you see on Digg, the majority of Americans don't support Ron Paul.
I would love to see someone enforce many of the things he is driving -- Health Freedom, Protecting the Unborn, American Sovereignty, etc. But, he is flat out wrong on the war, and the job that our soldiers are doing - which we hired them to do. The area is stabilizing more than it has been in 100 years. But, when you are dealing with people who act like animals, you will end up with more problems if you don't work to keep them contained. The only other option is complete isolationism. The American people are too mobile, diverse, adventurous, enterprising, and concerned for the welfare of all people to revert to isolationism.
