- SuperWinner, on 04/27/2008, -1/+2I have a feeling telling people trained to be murderers that they cannot look at porn, may not go over so well...
- reflectionsv37, on 04/27/2008, -1/+9Have I mentioned today how much I hate these people? The right wing whackos never cease to amaze me!! Oh, yeah! I really hate these people!!

- SuperWinner, on 04/27/2008, -1/+3make it illegal to enter a church unless you are 18 (when one can make an informed choice about religion) and your problems will be gone in 1 generation
- principle, on 04/27/2008, -0/+6The right wing defends their moral values while they publicly screw the Constitution.
- ChristPissed, on 04/27/2008, -0/+3Kurtz sits in the temple :
KURTZ (dictates to tape) "
They train young men to drop fire on people.
But their commanders won't allow them to write ***** on their airplanes because it's obscene! " - DonWigler, on 04/27/2008, -0/+5It is sad that this country has no where viable to turn politically when it comes to protecting our basic rights and the constitution.
- whatthefu, on 04/27/2008, -2/+1Not all of the right wing is moralistic to the point of idiocy.
- awasson, on 04/27/2008, -0/+2Well then they wouldn't be called right wing... They would just be normal human beings minding their own business. Here's a tip for anyone feeling authoritarian. Before you do something think about it from an outside perspective and determine whether your actions will make things better... Not just for you but in the big picture. When you decide what someone is going to read or not read, will it improve their situation or just make you feel morally superior.
- awasson, on 04/27/2008, -0/+4Here's the irony (quote from article): "U.S. troops are fighting two wars, neither of which are going well, and the American Family Association’s biggest concern is what kind of magazines the troops can purchase on base?
"Here’s a radical idea: maybe those who wear the uniform and put their lives on the line for their country should be able to read whatever they want." - CryRightardCry, on 04/28/2008, -1/+1They can die for these assholes, but they can't read any naughty stuff.
***** you House Rep. Paul Broun.
I guess this is more of the GOP "supporting" the troops.
Life sucks enough for these people, but the Republicans just keep ***** on them.
What an *****. - jasonroeber, on 04/28/2008, -0/+1Oddly enough they're using the same arguments that Nixon tried to prove with his war on smut in the early 70s but the report instead proved it to be harmless. Of course Nixon pulled that report because it didn't prove his point. Check the book "Thy Neighbor's Wife" by Gay Talese
