- bigp3rm, on 02/23/2008, -3/+49Once again the GOP shows they are full of good, honest, and overall moral people.
- mreal197, on 02/23/2008, -5/+47Wow.. The flood gates are opening
- dunderballer, on 02/23/2008, -2/+35Rather than being repulsed by Renzi's actions, McCain seems to draw on sympathy in his statement, since, after all Renzi was a family man. Washington crooks like this have been robbing the American people for too long. His actions are more than unfortunate mistakes.
- inactive, on 02/23/2008, -4/+28Don't forget Adultery.
- tehbeermang, on 02/23/2008, -4/+25I guess he didn't need to have an affair with a lobbyist to end his presidential aspirations after all.

- inactive, on 02/23/2008, -1/+20If you can't see past the douchebaggery of romney (who supports mccain) or the lies of hillary, I don't think you should be calling anyone a sheep.
- SheilaNoya, on 02/23/2008, -3/+21Is THIS the so-called "miracle" that Huckabee has been waiting for?
I find it kind of sad that Huckster's supporters are rooting for God to pick off the other candidates so he can win. I guess that's what happens when you start using religion as a sleazy political tool. - Homerr, on 02/23/2008, -2/+17Should read "Don't forget Adultery with either sex. Oh, and Hypocrisy."
- inactive, on 02/23/2008, -11/+26sorry guys, but that is not Republican party values. McCain is not a Republican. The only true republican is Ron Paul. Our GOP has gone in a totally different direction and we need Ron Paul to put GOP in a direction it was set to go long time ago.
- relaxeder, on 04/17/2009, -1/+15Republican values!
- GuacamoleSan, on 02/23/2008, -3/+17Republicans...stand for morals...right?....
- alittleroy101, on 02/23/2008, -0/+12Is it depressing to live every day of your life knowing that you are a complete douchebag?
- madfrogurt, on 02/23/2008, -2/+14"We fear that the Department of Justice may have allowed the investigation to have been influenced by political considerations, which should never have a place in the administration of justice."
-Renzi's attorney
It's amazing how we had to boot out the Attorney ***** General out over his involvement in politicizing the judicial branch, and this ***** can immediately start blaming those crafty democrats without batting an eye. - inactive, on 02/23/2008, -3/+14Oh those silly Republicans! What will they do next?
- ezco506th, on 02/23/2008, -0/+10Troll. You spit out the same ***** all the time.
- highlymodified, on 02/23/2008, -5/+15The elephant is DEAD.
- indicas, on 02/23/2008, -1/+11what orca said, and i add: what the ***** does it have to do with this story?
- orca94, on 02/23/2008, -2/+12What the ***** are you even trying to say? Damn you're ***** stupid.
- Leomarth, on 02/23/2008, -1/+10I live in his district. When he ran for office a few years ago, he ran on the issue of integrity and conservative values.
I've never really liked him. He's always been the kind of republican who will give up freedom and a small government for religion, war and terrorism. - Squires, on 02/23/2008, -2/+11Brokered convention anyone?
- ezco506th, on 02/23/2008, -1/+10Buried, reported.
- rzxc, on 02/23/2008, -3/+12No doubt McCain considers this guy honorable too.
- waynetheman, on 02/23/2008, -1/+9Too bad the donkey didn't die along with it.
To think of what a world it would be with BOTH of those power-hunger dens of corruption gone.... - ZenMojo, on 02/23/2008, -1/+9McCain's lobbyists are "honorable," not like all those other lobbyists.
- NSResponder, on 02/23/2008, -0/+8This is why the media wanted McCain to get the nomination.
-jcr - indicas, on 02/23/2008, -0/+8demtwit, that's a new one. did ann coulter teach you that one too?
- inactive, on 02/23/2008, -4/+12wow greedy republican. who could have ever imagined.
it sickens me the way these greedy ***** hide behind "morals" and "family values". - DjViral, on 02/23/2008, -2/+9mccain is fraud.
- drachasor, on 02/23/2008, -0/+7The biggest problem I am starting to have with McCain is that he has said that a politician shouldn't do anything that LOOKS improper. However, he repeatedly doesn't follow his own standard of behavior and seems blunder into these things repeatedly. I am not saying he has done anything wrong (there's no proof of that as of yet), but if he says he has a standard of behavior and then doesn't follow it, that kinda ruins his main appeal (to me) of integrity and high principles as far as I can tell.
- ATLien74, on 02/23/2008, -0/+7you get dugg down not only for your stupid comment...but your horrendously stupid name.
- historicity, on 02/23/2008, -0/+6Bush: I can't believe you like money too. We should hang out.
Renzi: Totally. - Pake, on 02/23/2008, -0/+6Some do, just like some Democrats do. Most politicians though... yeah, they'd stab their own grandma in the back for $5.
- inactive, on 02/23/2008, -0/+6Recession, here we come.
- ATLien74, on 02/23/2008, -3/+8Well they won't do anything sensible like nominate Ron Paul.
- muckemuck, on 02/23/2008, -2/+7Because he says over and over that he relies on his "circle of friends" rather than trying to understand difficult things like economics (do some digging to find out how well he finished at the Naval Academy - hah). If his circle of friends are this corrupt then, well.. McCain is likely also this corrupt.
- yenik, on 04/30/2008, -0/+5I like Obama. But I told myself that I'd never again throw my vote away on a pointless mainstream Democrat or Republican. I'm a fiscal conservative, social libertarian.
If I vote in McCain, what have I really gained. If I vote in Obama, I am compromising on my fiscally conservative viewpoint, but I'm at least gaining respect for civil liberties. That's my view on Obama.
That said, he has yet to get the nomination in the bag.. and I fear for his safety. Beyond that, I hope when he does get into office he essentially lied to us and refuses to continue our interventionist foreign policy.
If the Democrats, (who betrayed my vote when they didn't hold out on cutting off war funds after our 2006 votes) don't give me Obama as a choice.. I refuse to vote for Hillary or McCain. McCain, nuff said... Hillary, too much of a socialist for me.. I reject her mandatory healthcare/garnished wages idea wholeheartedly.
I'll write in Ron Paul if Hillary/McCain is my choice. I'm sick of wasting my vote. - magoghm, on 02/23/2008, -3/+8Trouble seems to follow McCain everywhere he goes: http://www.digg.com/2008_us_elections/Might_The_St ...
- ATLien74, on 02/23/2008, -1/+6Ron Paul is different. Seriously... If you would have told me I was gonna vote in the primaries for a white texas republican a year ago, I would have said you are out of your mind. He is very different.
- cidman2001, on 02/23/2008, -1/+6The more this crap comes out (from both sides) the more one gets the sense that the whole system needs a radical overhaul. We should start with getting rid of the rules that allow lobbyists to influence Washington. Then we should remove the constraints both parties have placed on us that force us to tolerate the two party system. How can you call that democratic? The regular people lost control to the rich over a century ago. Since we are in an election year, let's start with getting rid of the electoral college and return to the popular vote. We should be offering an X-prize for the private sector entity that can come up with a system that allows us (the people) to vote on individual bills from the comfort of our homes, At that point, those of us who give a ***** enough to let our opinion to be heard can have a voice that is unencumbered by the Dems,Republicans or the slanted media. The technology exists and can be a tool to measure accountability in Washington. Surely we could use fingerprint or retina scan technology to identify (anonymously) individual voters as authentic. The sooner we can give the power back to the people and restore individual states rights, the sooner we can cleanse the system of sleaze like Renzi and Jefferson...etc.
Perhaps we're not ready to give this kind of power to individuals, but even if your local elected officials could provide a voice in Washington that is separate from the rhetoric and sleaze of Congress we could start to improve the system.
One only needs to look at the demise of wildly popular candidates (right or wrong) like Ross Perot, Ron Paul or Howard Dean to see how scared the two parties are of anyone who gains some populist momentum. They get buried (even by their own party) before they can actually affect any real change. This politics as usual crap is getting really old and frankly sickening. This ***** should be a wake-up call for America....but somehow it never gets us to do anything more than lift an eyelid before we return to our blissfully ignorant slumber...and the rich get richer.
One other side note: It was interesting to see that CNN failed to mention that Renzi is McCain's Arizona Co-chair....
http://www.cnn.com/2008/POLITICS/02/22/renzi.indic ... - muckemuck, on 02/23/2008, -1/+6They wanted him to get the nomination because he's supported by the same people who back the media - and ironically the same people back Hillary and Obama. So they've stacked the deck against the American voter and the media really doesn't care whether McCain or Hillbama wins.
Who loses? We the American people do. We'll end up with a president who pushes us into a North American Union and most of the voters in the US don't even realize that it would be a bad thing.. Ugh. - bjornski, on 02/23/2008, -0/+5Yes, miss Coulter....
- yenik, on 04/30/2008, -0/+5I hate to be that guy, but where are the other Ron Paul supporters here.. Anything tearing down McCain is great news for those of us who want to take over the Republican party with our message of getting back to the basics. Ron Paul versus Obama is a dream match. The Champion of the Constitution versus the Warmonger on Pakistan.
Sorry Digg, I know you're on an Obama kick for now, but Obama's foreign policy is a nudge in the right direction when Doc Paul smacks the taste right of America's mouth. - alittleroy101, on 02/23/2008, -0/+5Bush: You got any blow?
- lizajane999, on 02/23/2008, -2/+6also: sodomy, pederasty
- bjornski, on 02/23/2008, -0/+4He made the account for nothing but trolling and negative diggs.
- diggdowner, on 02/23/2008, -0/+4Did his last name really need that pronunciation guide?
- ATLien74, on 02/23/2008, -4/+8I'm with you on that one cagey! Ron Paul is the only TRUE republican, and the only real straight talker.
- d03boy, on 02/23/2008, -1/+5pretty sure we stand for small government.. well.. we used to
