- inactive, on 03/24/2008, -7/+98Richardson's beard makes him look like a badass.
- deadbaby, on 03/24/2008, -6/+45I bet Bill Richardson is feeling good about his choice after the Clinton campaign compared him to a man who conspired to torture and murder Jesus. The Clintons are the liberal version of the Bushes. Different politics, same scummy tactics.
- skamper, on 03/24/2008, -8/+43Sounds like somebody wants the vice presidency.
- zephyear, on 03/24/2008, -5/+21somehow i doubt you were voting for him in the first place.
- junkwheel, on 03/24/2008, -5/+20Richardson wanted to endorse Barack way before the race speech. The only reason he didn't endorse Barack straight away is because he was friends of the Clintons. This is a great video from earlier this month with Richardson telling a story of how Obama helped him out in a debate when he was running against him....

I believe Obama is the only person running who would have done that. - chrgrose, on 03/24/2008, -8/+22Kucinich, FTVP
- deadbaby, on 03/24/2008, -5/+17Carvillie has been a long time operative for the Clintons. No matter if he's on the official payroll or not there's no doubt he's doing their bidding.
- laserblazer, on 03/24/2008, -3/+14Dennis has brass balls. He's a really cool guy.
- quiksliver, on 03/24/2008, -6/+17why are there so many bigots on digg?
- Cattywampus, on 03/24/2008, -2/+13Yeah, first Al Gore and now Richardson. Is there some new rule in the Democratic party that after you make an unsuccessful run for the White House, you have to grow a beard and gain 50 pounds?
- Evanmontegarde, on 03/24/2008, -4/+14Oh my, and I wonder why our American education system is criticized...
- yoshman, on 03/24/2008, -4/+14He just needs some flannel and an axe then no tree stands a chance!
- inactive, on 03/24/2008, -3/+13Good golly, you just might be. Oye Vay
- ThatGeek, on 03/24/2008, -4/+12barak may be rascist, but barack certainly isnt
OBAMA 08 - Lyk4n, on 03/24/2008, -1/+8Yes.
- Stephcaflowne, on 03/24/2008, -0/+7Just wait 'til you see Hillary Clinton in a few months time.
- EvilLordBanana, on 03/24/2008, -9/+1699 cent freedom I don't think you even know what a fascist is. Because there is no way even the most right wing nutjobs could see Obama as fascist.
First you idiots claim hes a communist, now he's a fascist? That's complete opposite sides of the political spectrum FFS. Get your smears straight geez. - inactive, on 03/24/2008, -4/+10...You don't pay close attention to politics, do you?
- zephyear, on 03/24/2008, -5/+11obama got another endorsement today, btw
http://digg.com/2008_us_elections/Obama_Endorsed_b ... - inactive, on 03/24/2008, -2/+7Yes, but don't ruin his joke because of "facts".
- betterth, on 03/24/2008, -2/+7He doesn't owe anyone anything. Clintons helped him to be where he is. But he has NO DEBT to repay. He has no obligation to go against his own will, his own conscious and his own desire to support a candidate he doesn't believe is the best.
Good for Richardson and doing the right thing. - Evanmontegarde, on 03/24/2008, -7/+12Richardson would make a great Secretary of State. I'm guessing he's hoping for a VP spot though, either way it would be a great ticket.
- saska, on 03/24/2008, -1/+6Carville pitched Richardson the sweetest softball in the history of sweet softballs with that comment.
Now Richardson can go on every news network for weeks and "respond" to it by outlining his reasons for endorsing Obama and leaving the Clinton campaign out to dry. - Gerz1219, on 03/24/2008, -5/+10Carville is a commentator for the Clinton News Network, comparing one of Obama's supporters to the man who betrayed Jesus. You're right, Carville isn't working for the campaign. If he were, he'd be fired over his remarks. Carville can do more damage as a supposedly impartial shill, and without any accountability. When CNN hires a commentator who compares Hillary to Pontius Pilate, or at least Mary Magdalene, then I'll let Carville off the hook.
- zephyear, on 03/24/2008, -3/+7he was leaning towards endorsing him before the speech, the speech just put him over the edge.
- inactive, on 03/24/2008, -0/+4Liberals can be fascist, its called liberal fascism and was coined by H G Wells.
look it up - inactive, on 03/24/2008, -11/+15Oh my god, are you CFR-conspiracy clowns still around?
Newsflash: Ron Paul LOST. McCain won the nomination, it's over for RP. Do you really think going around repeating ***** about other candidates is going to help him? based on your previous posts, it sure seems you are trying... - junkwheel, on 03/24/2008, -5/+9Richardson wanted to endorse Obama way before the race speech. I believe Obama is the only person running who would have done that. - Bartboy919, on 03/24/2008, -4/+8Didn't they remove that option after that movie, Super Size Me?
- Cattywampus, on 03/24/2008, -1/+5I'd take him for State. VP is a waste of his talent, unless the Pres. gives him a lot of power.
He'd be great for Sec. of State; a guy who can actually talk to North Korea can do just about anything in the international arena. - qwerter, on 03/24/2008, -1/+5When was Hillary appointed as the new Jesus, anyway? Was I absent when that made the front page?
- perogi21, on 03/24/2008, -2/+6Many shutins like to flex their eMuscles or stretch their ePeen...
- Akronos, on 03/24/2008, -1/+5Actually, not really. I'm not defending 99 cent freedom but to say that communism and fascism are on the opposite sides of the political spectrum is idiotic. Maybe your tenth grade social studies teacher told you that, but it's wrong. Go read up on individualism vs. collectivism. Plot a spectrum based on the extent of the government's power, and you'll notice communism and fascism are right next to each other.
You should read the Road to Serfdom, by F.A. Hayek a nobel prize winning economist.
But since you probably don't have it, I've typed out several paragraphs from the book related to this (Pages 80-81):
“The complete collapse of the belief in the attainability of freedom and equality through Marxism ,” writes Peter Drucker, “has forced Russia to travel the same road toward a totalitarian , purely negative, non-economic society of unfreedom and inequality which Germany has been following. Not that communism and fascism are essentially the same. Fascism is the stage reached after communism has proved an illusion, and it has proved as much an illusion in Stalinist Russia as in pre-Hitler Germany.”
“Everyone…has been struck by the number of leading men, from Mussolini downward (and not excluding Laval and Quisling), who began as socialists and ended as Fascists or Nazis.”
“It is true of course, that in Germany before 1933, and in Italy before 1922, communists and Nazis or Fascists clashed more frequently with each other than with other parties. They competed for the support of the same type of mind and reserved for each other the hatred of the heretic. But their practice showed how closely they are related. TO both, the real enemy, the man with whom they had nothing in common and whom they could not hope to convince, is the liberal of the old type. While to the Nazi the communist, and to the communist the Nazi, and to both the socialist, are potential recruits who are made of the right timber, although they have listened to false prophets, they both know that there can be no compromise between them and those who really believe in individual freedom.”
As you can see, this isn't a big difference between a fascist and a communist. Both are collectivist. Both are for - rdoger6424, on 03/24/2008, -0/+3Woah woah woah. Since when is Pennsylvania in New England?
- inactive, on 04/13/2008, -0/+3Hey ***** try explaining why you agree so much with Bush when he says "Islam is a religion of peace "
It was "Right tards" who saved the world from both Fascism and Communism, and while you are paying attention for a minute look up the meaning of nazi some time, I believe you will find they are national SOCIALISTS - fullphaser, on 03/24/2008, -1/+4I'd actually classify you as the reactionist retard for taking a stance based off of a series of events that have only been forced by the press in the last week.
- richporter, on 03/24/2008, -4/+7Coming from the guy who has a username that puts a price on freedom.
- WasabiBomb, on 03/24/2008, -1/+4Wow. That's a lot of words to say, "I don't have anything bad to say specifically about Obama, so I'll just imply that he's racist."
- DeviantDragon, on 03/24/2008, -7/+10This guy isn't actually working for Clinton's campaign now. The official Clinton spokesperson did not react in such hostile manner.
- inactive, on 03/24/2008, -4/+7They got cards? I didn't get any card. What the ***** is up with that? They must be premiere members. I got ripped off.
- rz8472, on 03/24/2008, -1/+4Yeah, that beard has changed him from Fred Flinstone to bohemian artiste
- elfprince13, on 03/24/2008, -5/+8that'd be cool
- motivatedmama, on 03/24/2008, -1/+4Yes he is! I'm still sporting my Kucinich For President bumper sticker. I'm gonna leave it just for the statement it makes. Kucinich on one side Obama on the other! (Gore for President is under the Kucinich, too depressing)
- homerang, on 03/24/2008, -0/+2You should write for the New Yorker!
- sqwirl, on 03/24/2008, -1/+3Are you half black?
- mzx639, on 03/24/2008, -0/+2Deep down inside, I think they know it's true too...
- Cattywampus, on 03/24/2008, -2/+4Or maybe he's auditioning to be the first Mexican-American model for the Brawny paper towel brand.
- frontporsche, on 03/24/2008, -1/+3Well said.
"[Carville] told the New York Times in a story published Saturday that Richardson's decision was an "act of betrayal."" To say something like this, to suggest that Richardson should make his decision for some reason other than whom he feels is best for the country, confirms that Hillary and co feel they are "owed" the presidency. - cbuddha42, on 03/24/2008, -3/+5This guy is a ridiculous suck-up. I don't think his endorsement really helps.
http://blogs.abcnews.com/politicalpunch/2008/03/ri ...
That's right, after claiming super delegates should follow their state's vote this guy ignored Hillary winning his state and declared support for Obama. -
