Republicans Protest Adjournment, Refuse to Leave House Floor
foxnews.com — The last House vote before a vacation usually sparks a stampede toward the doors and waiting planes. Not so Friday, when Republicans occupied the House floor for a rare, and at times bizarre, protest against Democratic energy policies.

- Jake81499, on 08/02/2008, -0/+4You mean lack of energy policies. There's nothing bizarre about the protest against the demoncrats. The demoncrats are clearly against the will of the American public to have additional oil on hand while we look for other forms of energy. The demoncrats are against anything that will help our country, they change their minds on anything and everything depending on the poll they read that morning. We need a Republican Congress and Senate to get us out of this mess. The demoncrats have done nothing but abuse power since getting into office. The demoncrat actions borderline on "Bad Conduct" and should be reason enough to have them all impeached.
- tasine, on 08/02/2008, -1/+1Yes! I agree 100%! Well, one exception. I think "bad conduct" is too light a descriptive word for democrat actions. I think the best word is "treason", at the very least "usurpation" of Presidential powers granted by the US Constitution.
- Papajohn56, on 08/02/2008, -1/+3Nancy Pelosi turning congress into kindergarten.
- arlok789, on 08/02/2008, -1/+2The Democrats and congress are very much responsible for alot of our current economic problems. Sad that Bush gets all the blame. He only deserves some of it.
- MarkusGarvey, on 08/02/2008, -0/+1if all these politicians worked for me i would fire their asses!....oh wait!....
- tasine, on 08/02/2008, -1/+0I am so proud of these Republicans who stayed after Miz Paloozy turned out the lights. I suspect this time she just may have stepped in it. These good for nothing Democrats are good for nothing all the time. Republican congress critters are sometimes good for nothing, but in this one instance, I am very, very proud. Of course the media hides it as much as at all possible. THFTI (thank God for the internet).
- Activist44, on 08/03/2008, -0/+0Nancy Pelosi, it's time for you to leave the Democratic Party. You are a waste of taxpayers' money.
- skeletonkeeper, on 08/03/2008, -0/+1The Dems should be impeached for not keeping their oath in supporting America. They know what they need to do and refuse. This is a violation of their job. If any one of us were as incompetent as they we would be fired. They are the ones responsible for gas being over $4 a gallon and they refuse to do anything about it.
They would gladly sell this country down the drain just so they could be a Dem in the Whitehouse. These actions boarder on treason! - bigot, on 08/03/2008, -0/+1School yard politics by the Democrats is once again evident. Nancy, Harry and the rest of the girls change the rules in the middle of the game (refuse to allow a vote on the energy bill) and if you don't like it they take their ball and go home. They are thinking the American people have short memories so when they come back we will have forgotten their feminine antics, so it will be business as usual. We wont forget in November.
