- rvandy, on 02/29/2008, -9/+361Congratulations to the state of Georgia for electing this moron.
- artgon, on 02/29/2008, -20/+338What a douche.
- RansomHoldiay, on 02/29/2008, -17/+303HYPERSENSITIVITY BUTTON SET TO ON!
***** that guy. what a hypocrite. - Mihr, on 02/29/2008, -16/+230I am not a fan of Obama but this is an absurd attack.
- mtg1287, on 02/29/2008, -14/+146(insert hickish voice) Well, ya see Dan, I don't do what you call "think ahead." Furthermore, I don't like to follow what you call "logic." its not really part of the Republican agenda.
- myxodextoxmaybe, on 02/29/2008, -2/+131This is the same idiot who was on Real Time with Bill Maher last week preaching this same garbage. That and the garbage from the 'Obama is an American-hating Muslim' email that has been circulating. What a joke. I hope he is up for re-election this year. If so, he may qualify for a Walmart greeter job...but that's about it.
*sigh* - agsinger, on 02/29/2008, -11/+118you'd think natural selection woulda removed this guy...
- oo7b0nds, on 02/29/2008, -2/+108"Well Dan, I-...I don't fallow that at all"
- Joscarfas, on 02/29/2008, -5/+102Dugg!! Not because he is a Republican, but because he really made an ass of himself.
- sahaskatta, on 02/29/2008, -7/+98I am a fan of Obama and this is an absurd attack!
- inactive, on 02/29/2008, -3/+88Patriotism is not a stupid flag pin or a goddam yellow ribbon magnet on the back of your minivan. Patriotism is standing up and saying "HEY THIS WAR IS ***** ***** OUR SOLDIERS ARE DYING FOR ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WE NEED TO BRING THEM HOME AND STOP JACKBOOTING OUR WAY ACROSS THE ***** GLOBE AT THE EXPENSE OF HUMAN LIVES"
- doronster195, on 02/29/2008, -31/+105It's not Republicans, its neo-conservatives. Republicans, as they are meant to be (small gov't, low taxes, low spending) are great. Unfortunately those are not the kind of Republicans we see nowadays.
- amprather, on 02/29/2008, -4/+76Probably because wearing it IS meaningless.
- cambob76, on 02/29/2008, -5/+69The whole issue is a stupid waste of time. Obama is running for president. How much more patriotic can a person be?
- jahurt, on 02/29/2008, -1/+61If this is the best they've got, Obama will win the general election in a landslide.
- arch3r, on 02/29/2008, -3/+62I have NEVER voted democratic in my life, (yes I voted for W twice, not proud now though) but my god, the republicans are so grasping at straws to fine anything wrong with Sen. Obama. Sorry GOP, it just ain't there. That young black man is going to be the next President of the United States and I don't see you stopping it. Y'all look like idiots attacking his wife for a simple misunderstanding and for him not wearing a flag lapel pin? WTF is wrong with you. Congrats, I am voting Democratic for the first time just because of stoopid ***** like this.
- 13AH, on 02/29/2008, -4/+62I'm not American, which may be the cause for me never having heard of these pins. How ridiculous.
You don't love your country unless you wear a brooch?
Very 1984. - merdiesel, on 02/29/2008, -2/+58What a ***** irritating voice.
- LordSkywalker, on 02/29/2008, -3/+58Good thing the MSM is discussing the important issues like flag pens, middle names, clothing, and general he-said/she-said *****.
- MCMookie, on 02/29/2008, -10/+65What a ***** half-wit hypocrite corporate ***** politician. No wonder congress approval ratings are lower than the ***** half-wit hypocrite corporate ***** politician in the oval office.
- arTech, on 02/29/2008, -2/+56I was stationed in GA and this prick was my "representative". When asked about troubles of low income minimum wage families, this tool said that they should "work more" and to stop complaining. Then he went on to complain having to work a 5-day week in congress once Democrats took over. He said it was "hurting his family and marriage".
- NyteStarNyne, on 02/29/2008, -1/+52Hmm, Whenever critics speak about Michelle Obama's statement, they quote her by saying "For the first time in my life I am proud of my country". They always seem to leave out the word "Really", because she said "really proud of my country". Now if her full and accurate statement was so horrible, why leave that word out unless you were trying to twist and exaggerate the statement.
- fungible, on 02/29/2008, -0/+48My favorite part is how he plays the "I'm not saying it, but I'm saying that other people will be saying it" card. Dude, YOU'RE SAYING IT. YOU BROUGHT IT UP.
- arTech, on 02/29/2008, -4/+45Because it's a fake way to show who "patriotic" you are. Being a patriot is something you do with your actions, protecting the constitution and not having to sell your soul like every Republican does these days.
- BigPapasan, on 02/29/2008, -2/+43This silliness reminds me of the ribbon scene on Seinfeld: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7LZrVPFE9XA
- inactive, on 02/29/2008, -6/+45Ugh, just look at his smile. I want to punch his shiny white teeth right out.
- wreckosaurus, on 02/29/2008, -0/+35My prediction: one of these days, some douchebag is going to show up wearing two lapels, only to be topped by some other douche with 3 lapels. And so ten years from now, anyone wearing less than 14 lapels will be a communist.
- slabdigger, on 02/29/2008, -4/+39why doesn't he wear a PLEDGE PIN on his UNIFORM? I think he should wear a cross pin too, or does he hate Jesus?
- DephexTwin, on 02/29/2008, -4/+35Not wanting to wear a pin != not a patriot.
- inactive, on 02/29/2008, -0/+31It's up to you if you only want to wear 14 pieces of flair.
- mnoe, on 02/29/2008, -1/+31Who do we congratulate for GWBush being in the White House?
- shanemichael, on 02/29/2008, -3/+32I would not consider myself democrat or republican.. but with EVERYTHING I read, hear, see... I have to wonder a legitimate thought.. How.. is the republican party still around. They seem to get dumber, and dumber, who votes for these people?
- mille716, on 02/29/2008, -1/+29I think he was the same guy too who after the Democrats took the house said they hate families. His reasoning was that the Democrats were making members of the House work a five day week.
He's really not that bright. - wreckosaurus, on 02/29/2008, -0/+28After 9/11 everyone wore those pins to show solidarity, but then nobody wanted to be the first one to take it off. And so, now everyone has to wear it FOREVER. It's pretty retarded.
- mille716, on 02/29/2008, -0/+28"Fallow" actually worked since its the phonetically correct with his accent.
- Me1000, on 02/29/2008, -4/+30Diebold!
- SniperAlf22, on 02/29/2008, -11/+37digging, digging your own grave....
- Dumbledorito, on 02/29/2008, -1/+26Please, they don't make the laws.
They let the megacorps buy them. Get it right. - Prodigal19, on 02/29/2008, -7/+31You know you've got a good candidate when the worst thing the republicans can dig up on him is that he doesn't wear a pin.
- DephexTwin, on 02/29/2008, -1/+25Ironic since his kids would probably benefit from spending as little time with him as possible.
- seantubridy, on 02/29/2008, -2/+26"Republican Makes Ass of Himself on MSNBC"
Don't they make asses of themselves every time they are on? - Beakerz, on 02/29/2008, -9/+32Yeah, its definitely not Republicans, i myself was registered republican until i decided to vote for obama, and still consider myself a republican. Doronster195 is right on when he says neo-conservatives. Republicans didn't always be war mongering ass wipes like Bush - he essentially developed a new party over this war. blah blah - i had more but was too long so i deleted. :(
- jpt62089, on 02/29/2008, -5/+28I'm neither one and this is an absurd attack!
- Vigrant, on 02/29/2008, -4/+26Ralph ***** Nader.
- Innagadadavida, on 02/29/2008, -3/+24I'm an absurd attack and this is not a fan.
- inactive, on 02/29/2008, -1/+22If you dont wear the pin, you might as well just piss on that fire that contains the remains of the American flag.
George Washington and the founding fathers gave their lives for us... and all they asked in return is that we wear these tiny American flag pins. Ben Franklin himself once stated "The day we elect a negro (as they were then called) into office who refuses to wear a pin with the American flag on it is the day that America surrenders to Iraq", who we fought in the late 1700's because those bastards were putting sand in our tea or some ***** (which is of course why we dumped boxes of ruined tea into rivers and streams which flowed down towards Mexico and resulted in water that causes explosive diarrhea).
My logic is flawless. Obama is a diarrhea loving terrorist. - TypeEE, on 02/29/2008, -0/+19So far, it's just that pin and the middle name.
- androo, on 02/29/2008, -5/+24Everyone wears them. Theyre Famous.
- inactive, on 02/29/2008, -5/+24So the problem isn't that the Republicans think wearing flair makes you a patriot, the problem is those of us on Digg.
Well, what else could a Republican shill say? -
