We all have a love for this country, and that's why we live in this country. We continue to question authority because it is a right afforded us by the constitution. This is a slippery slope that we're on... living in a nation where the politics of division has reached an all-time high--pitting one group against another, small towns against big cities, black against white.

It does matter. All politics are local. If people didn't vote for or these people when they were at the local level, they would never make it to the national scene. How many people know who is on their city council? How many people bother to find out who is serving in their state legislature? That's where these nut jobs start out. If people don't care enough to pay attention at that level, it is a little too late for them to start whining once their local wingnut gets to congress.
