- haxcorner, on 08/13/2008, -1/+12In other news: Iraq’s chief intelligence officer, apparently distraught over the anguish of a business deal gone awry, hung himself today....
- CoolHandLuke70, on 08/13/2008, -1/+9Don't have much faith in the 'checks in balances' since this administration has gotten away with almost everything evil that it could except prostituting children AND Dyncorp has pretty much done that with the backing of this administration. Conyers is a chump who, like Pelosi, will make sure that truth does not see the light of day. I really truly wish that I was more positive folks and I will still petition and check the appropriate boxes and try to do the right thing, but 'hope' caught the last train out!
- inactive, on 08/14/2008, -2/+8I'm convinced that Conyers would need a stimulant to make it to the toilet in time if nature suddenly called. The man acts like he has been shot full of Thorazine.
- Ralphdraw3, on 08/13/2008, -1/+5What are YOU doing?? have you called Conyers office? Have you called you Rep.'s office? have you done anything other than bitch on the internet?
- inactive, on 08/14/2008, -0/+3There is a time to think positive and a time to face reality, which has nothing to do with the subjective.

RON PAUL WIMPS OUT ON IMPEACHMENT:
digg.com/politics/Ron_Paul_WIMPS_out_on_Impeachment - jaymzdean, on 08/13/2008, -6/+9"Winnie the Poo Announces Review of Allegations of Bush Administration’s Forged Iraq Intelligence today"
See?
That statement wields exactly the same significance as does the original.
Because Conyers ain't doing JACK *****.
And why should he? He's complicit. - vbullinger, on 08/13/2008, -0/+2Yep, I believe that one...
- pfutrell, on 08/14/2008, -1/+2I marched with Cindy Sheehan last summer, July 2007, along with 400 others, to Congress, office of Conyers, to ask Conyers to consider impeachment. After a four hour discussion behind closed doors with Cindy and a few other of our leaders, he turned them away. One man ...
I have seen Conyers turn away those with THE most persuasive arguments, again and again, because, he claims HE is not convinced. One man ...
I don't know what happens to our representatives after they've been in the office for a few years, but they act like they're regal and protected. They forget that we're out here waving our arrms, and protesting in the streets (later that year in October, 200,000 protesters, and not a peep from the press, or acknowledgement from our representatives) we have given of our time time and we fly, rail, and drive to DC to protest against the war, and this administration. We have given our time, energy and resources, because we care. But they don't.
It is very frustrating, and not at all rewarding, to be an American in these times. And now, for our protestations, we face "internment" in Denver. - Bastet62, on 08/14/2008, -1/+2Will Conyers convene another empty charade and call it a "committee to investigate the imperial presidency" AGAIN, and then DO NOTHING?
- sewollef, on 08/14/2008, -1/+1I'm not holding my breath...
