- AriaStar, on 11/18/2007, -0/+37Is anyone really surprised anymore than any debate, conference, whatever with "random" audience members is completely skewed? That everything is planted and/or pre-approved?
- inactive, on 11/18/2007, -12/+49I blame Ron Paul.
- inactive, on 11/18/2007, -1/+32i smell a conspiracy!
- theshizzler, on 11/18/2007, -3/+31Okay, so there were stupid questions, lots of terrible moderating (thanks Wolf), and now some of the questions were coming straight from Democratic staff members? CNN, you just might win for worst debate of the campaign. Yes, even worse than that biased-as-hell Fox News debate, which featured tons of leading questions. It's all yellow journalism.
- maiku00, on 11/18/2007, -1/+24cnn is pathetic
- inactive, on 11/18/2007, -4/+24My God!!!! What else have the Democrats lied about????
- supermanred, on 11/18/2007, -11/+30So you Americans are just now realizing CNN, FOX and all your news media are biased and part of the plan written out by the Demopublicans?
Wake up and smell the fascism. - DigDugDigger, on 11/18/2007, -1/+20...Or maybe the Digg community got the joke.
- right75, on 11/18/2007, -2/+21I'll bet Hillary "knew nothing about it"
- gwhardyiv, on 11/18/2007, -1/+19Cram it. Your country sucks, too.
- postaldave, on 11/18/2007, -8/+25those of us who don't vote for the communi.....um democratic party are not shocked.
- postaldave, on 11/18/2007, -0/+15now that you see the corruption in your own debates do think maybe you are being deceived by them everyday?
- inactive, on 11/18/2007, -2/+16Can you even fathom the depths this nation will sink to if she takes the helm?
- twomeyw23334, on 11/18/2007, -0/+13Yeah it is amazing how Hillary never has any idea what is going on with her campaign committee. From planted questioners to illegal contributions to who is going to leave the tip, if the woman can't lead or have any remote knowledge of her own campaign committee how I am supposed to believe she can lead a country.
- shadowsurfr1, on 11/18/2007, -2/+14"something about restoring trust to the American people?"
You do realize that they're politicians, right? For all I'm concerned, that automatically implies that they don't follow what they say during a campaign. - inactive, on 11/18/2007, -5/+15Have you ever been on the correct side of an argument?
- madcat033, on 11/18/2007, -1/+11Uhhh... are you kidding me? Two things: one, he was ***** kidding. Do you really think he's being negative towards Ron Paul or something?
And two: I was a digger before I was a Ron Paul supporter. Yeah, the Ron Paul people are abusing this website to promote their agendas alright. *rolls eyes* Or maybe it's because diggers get unbiased media and actually look into the candidates, and have come to the conclusion that Ron Paul is the best choice? No, it's definitely just a vast Ron Paul conspiracy to take over the uhh... non-MSM? Digg SM? - Pake, on 11/18/2007, -0/+9WMD... And sadly, I'm not lying about that.
- doctorfungi, on 11/18/2007, -2/+11I smell a real conspiracy for once.
- ElectricMunk, on 11/18/2007, -1/+9So will you vote for the Red dictatorship or the Blue dictatorship this year?
/torches and pitchforks .. the MSM needs to be confronted a la the We Are Change folks....turn the cameras on them ... most of us here can ask tougher questions and get to more truth than the MSM portrays in a given day - shcforward, on 11/18/2007, -2/+10Wow. Critical reading skills at digg rock.
The article didn't blame Hillary Clinton for CNN messing up. It didn't blame the audience for being democrats.
It blamed CNN for portraying a person who asked the question as an undecided voter, when in reality, she is going to vote for someone up there on that stage (and probably get a job someday from one of them too) - inactive, on 11/18/2007, -0/+7Just like she runs her marriage.
- inactive, on 11/18/2007, -4/+11Why is it a big conspiracy when the republicans get caught doing something but when the democrats get caught it's "Well, everybody does it."?
- aukxsona, on 11/18/2007, -0/+7Oh we on the internet know. But try telling the boobs plugged into the "nightly news". They never get this info. Those poor schlups are the ones who choose the president too!
- bgturk, on 11/18/2007, -2/+9America is a bipartisan dictatorship just like the Soviet union was a one party dictatorship.
- inactive, on 11/18/2007, -1/+7I agree, this doesn't look anything like an attempt to favor Clinton.
It is incredibly obnoxious at best, though. Why on earth would you not identify her as a senior state party operative, unless you've just made a habit of not telling people things? That's information you disclose, even if it has no bearing on her question.
These debates are completely worthless, as are the networks that are hosting them. - spyd3rweb, on 11/18/2007, -2/+7Joseph Goebbels would be proud.
- Pake, on 11/18/2007, -0/+5The problem is these planted, loaded, and bias questions allow for the candidates to have a response made ahead of time instead of doing impromptu. If all they want to do is force feed us the same crap we always hear, then just hold a press conference and quit having mock debates.
- Daedalus81, on 11/18/2007, -0/+5Then why bother giving people the illusion that these "ordinary people" are "real voters" concerned about "real issues"? Why not just have Blitzer ask the questions instead of pumping us full of *****?
Do they want us to continue to think we have a part in something that we do not? - unorginalityftw, on 11/18/2007, -3/+8Shocking! 1+1=2!
- rugrat54, on 11/18/2007, -4/+9taking cue from FEMA?
- capiCrimm, on 11/18/2007, -0/+5"they" just want to you wear the tinfoil hats. It *really* amplifies the aliens psychotelekinesis.
- inactive, on 11/18/2007, -2/+6What did Hillary know and when did she know it?????
- inactive, on 11/18/2007, -0/+4If the democrats weren't afraid of Fox then we would know.
Until then, nice strawman. (I'm lying. It wasn't even a good effort.) - inactive, on 11/18/2007, -1/+5It must work because I'm seeing double.
- locojones, on 11/18/2007, -2/+6That's what I'm saying. This article is ranting and raving about how " he described them as “ordinary people, undecided voters.” Note: not even “undecided Democrats.” Just undecided."
Well what does the author expect? That there would be undecided Republican voters in the audience? Grow up. Anyone with half a brain understood that the members of the audience were either independents, or undecided Democrats who hadn't solidified their support for any particular candidate. - Gdub, on 11/18/2007, -0/+3Wolf Blitzer's has always been insanely biased.
- minitrollster, on 11/18/2007, -1/+4damn it i accidentally buried you
- eternal464, on 11/18/2007, -0/+31. nothing
2. all the time - Tetraca, on 11/18/2007, -0/+3No, that's just the roast.
- inactive, on 11/18/2007, -1/+4THEY'RESTEALINGTHESPACESFROMOURSENTENCES!!!
- metapop, on 11/18/2007, -1/+4if any spam squad is active today, it's the "we hate legendxx" spam squad, which i have just now founded and become a member of. i too was a digger before i was a paulite, and learned about him on here as well, and have since become a ron paul evangelist and contributor.
- tiberone, on 11/18/2007, -0/+3i can't tell if you're being serious or not...
do you really think any political party's above this? - oceanrain, on 11/18/2007, -1/+4Keep dreamin'
- inactive, on 11/18/2007, -2/+5If you define fascism as the collusion of government and corporations, I'd say that CNN planting questions to help Hillary win would probably count.
- conceptkid, on 11/18/2007, -0/+3The reason this is a big deal, is because they did not just choose some random person. They chose this lady who is obviously probably well known as a democrat for 1: to try and get her more spotlight on national TV since she is well known 2: She probably has been very loyal to the party and thus CNN could trust her not to ask something else. 3. Shes a woman, and a black woman at that. Nothing against them, but its not something you normally see, democrats like to exploit this. Shes a woman so obviously the MSM exploits that "All women unite!" for Hillary. When basically any woman I have ever met is against Hillary.
This same type of ***** happened at the Republican debate with Chris Luntz and his so called "focus group" I wish some of you idiots would stop bickering across party lines all the time. Hell, I call ***** out that happens on the Republican side all the time, when I found out about Chris Luntz trying to decieve the audience, I was seriously pissed off. I do not support that kind of *****, no matter whose side it is. And, when that type of ***** happens, you know that it is all planned by the mainstream media and it is mostly a big act, so the whole thing starts to lose crediblity. - ElectricMunk, on 11/18/2007, -2/+5In Bizzaro Democratic debate, the less you are called on the more likely you are to being the "best candidate" for the people.....guess Gravel and Kucinich....who I already support
- JonParker, on 11/18/2007, -0/+3That happens in the general election. The primaries are interparty. I have no problem with having only Democrats at a Democratic debate, and ditto for the Republicans.
- Renuvian, on 11/18/2007, -2/+5So... a Democrat was in the audience at a Democratic party debate? This is news?
- inactive, on 11/18/2007, -3/+6I sure don't want a real democracy. I'll stick with my representative republic.
