washtimes.com — The Republican National Committee, hit by a grass-roots donors' rebellion over Pres. Bush's immigration policy, fired all 65 of its telephone solicitors, The Washington Times has learned. One firee, donations down nearly 50%, said: "Every donor in 50 states we reached has been angry...for 99 percent of them immigration is the No. 1 issue..."

    "campaign contributions" are "legalized bribery", and it corrupts our government.
    you think "big business" doesn't expect some "favorable legislation" in exchange for money?
    how can lawmakers make the "best policies" when this is going on?
