Bubba fire all 93. No investigation at all. And he fired them to stop investigations into his own corruption.
Just goes to show you. Bush should have canned all of them. They were all Bubba hacks anyway. Otherwise Bubba would never have appointed them.
If BO gets elected he will urge every one of the US attorneys as well. He needs people that won't investigate him or his terrorist friends and supporters.- johnnick, on 09/29/2008, -0/+1Fishy, although your line about Obama's "terrorist friends and supporters" makes it clear that nothing I say will make a dent, I'll make a vain effort, regardless. Everyone understands that the President had the right to fire them for no reason at all. Like most jobs these days, the US attorney positions are "at will" positions. However, even though you can fire someone for no reason at all, if you do have a reason, there are certain reasons that aren't permitted, such as those tied to age, gender or racial discrimination. In the case of these attorneys, they appear to have been fired for failure to adhere to a biased political ideology, and that has tainted the whole Justice department's ability to appear unbiased.
