Obama and Clinton wouldn't be able to promise the world to their supporters, so they don't mention it and the people don't see them as the frauds they are.     Obama spoke in detail on the anniversary of the war in Iraq on the way that the war has affected our economy and on the absurdity of cutting taxes during wartime. He also spoke in detail about the ways that he sees us being able to recover financially -- and about the myriad problems that face us, addressing the work that needs to be done and not just the pie-in-the-sky promises of a candidate.

    But you didn't read about it in the media, so how would you know?

Just check out his conversations with Greenspan from the late 90s through to Chopper Ben 2 months ago and you'll see he has a firm grasp on the problems, causes and cures for the embarrassing deficit, looting of the Social Security Trust Fund, falling dollar, credit crunch, trade imbalance, trade agreements and the damage our ridiculous quest for Empire is doing.

Paul's message of "Freedom, Peace, and Prosperity" is a good message, but it is useless if it doesn't lead to a change in the system. If you fail to convince someone, the error is yours, not theirs.
