It is obvious the current strategy of the Big Megaphone folks and the Money Interests that provide their advertising revenue is to pretend that Ron Paul does not exist. In fact for all practical purposes the effect is like the tree falling in the forest when no one is there to hear. This is a good strategy for them now so it will not stop until it stops working, we will know when it stops working because when/if they cover RP it will be hit pieces with a likely spin being he is a kook, just as was done to the last outsider(couldn't be bought) candidate with a chance-Ross Perot. Perot had his own money to get exposure, Ron Paul does not. We must do an end run around the Big Megaphone folks at this point. We have the time for a successful if slowly rising tide if we go all out starting now. End run consists of the following:
1. Use word of mouth with all your personal contacts, tell them the whole story, i.e. Ron's message, why his message is important, educate them enough to understand why it is important, direct them to further pertinent background info, explain how Ron cannot be bought and why that is important to the average voter, point out what has been happening in politics for a long time and who that trend benefits(a small group of very powerful people), have the converted/enlightened do their small word of mouth part, etc./we can share ideas here
2. Continue to use mass info means as much as possible, cutkomp-I have seen what you've done w/ the CBS Sports thing that's excellent we can all do similar efforts and include for example calling Talk Radio Shows (all of them including the big ones RL, SH for example) and working Ron Paul into the discussion, etc., share your ideas here
3. In my area those little roadside signs you see stuck in the ground advertising "We Buy Homes" and similar messages/Ads are cheap-We can all put some of those up a little at a time, even homemade(as professional looking as possible) signs w/ something as simple as "Ron Paul for President" helps increase name recognition. In fact, we keep hearing RP is an internet phenomenon it is important to get the word out beyond cyberspace. Again, share your ideas here but I have no doubt that the MSM, Big Megaphone, whatever you want to call it are not going to suddenly start showcasing RP.
