- wonderchemist, on 07/06/2009, -15/+294Well 167 is a prime number, so why not.
- baronvonnasty, on 07/07/2009, -10/+287Boston.com has the absolute best photo-stories.
- novenator, on 07/06/2009, -25/+172boston.com always has excellent photo articles, and this is no exception. This is a historical presidency and it's important to document it very well.

To Kennedy's Teacher-
Please excuse Kennedy's absence...she's with me.
-Barack Obama - FakeHipster, on 07/06/2009, -8/+100While the "100" days is arbitrary, it does have a historical basis. When FDR took office in 1932, he had a 100 day special session of congress which resulted in the New Deal. Of course, when presidents these days are sworn in the 100 days expectation is totally ridiculous, because they dont get that 100 days with congress.
- nolesfan247, on 07/07/2009, -9/+74Don't wanna digg this because it's at 167 diggs...
- ProfessorSYM, on 07/07/2009, -13/+78And 1,218 more days to go until Republicans lose the next presidential election.
The next seven and a half years will probably go by faster for you if you stop counting the days. - mkNix, on 07/07/2009, -3/+57On pic 6, is he walking on the outside of a pyramid? I did that as a young child many years ago, and got screamed at by Egyptian police as my action was deemed improper. But ofcourse i was a nobody.
- pathouston22, on 07/07/2009, -6/+55"Brought troops home from Iraq... oh, but sent them to Afghanistan instead"
If you actually listened to his speeches during his campaign, this wouldn't of been a surprise.
Oh BTW, Bush mostly ended the war in Iraq, not Obama. The security agreement to pull the troops out of the cities was signed in 2008. Obama is just carrying it out. - adam07, on 07/07/2009, -1/+47Yeah that was ***** cool
- KaizenNinja, on 07/07/2009, -3/+49Dugg for Chia Obama
- ProfessorSYM, on 07/07/2009, -13/+56Yes Obama, FIX ALL OUR PROBLEMS NOW WHILE WE DO NOTHING!
- roddack, on 07/07/2009, -0/+41Well holy ***** it wasn't a slide show I must say I am a bit shocked
- charolux, on 07/07/2009, -34/+74Say what you want, I'm just glad he's my President.
- 2of8, on 07/07/2009, -0/+38And they're on one page.
- str1fe, on 07/07/2009, -1/+39No, boston.com really does have the best photo stories.
- b10t0x1c, on 07/07/2009, -18/+54To all of you complaining that the "change" isn't happening fast enough: It took "W" eight years to screw us up this badly. Although Bin Laden's attacks contributed to the mess, not just in and of themselves but also by eliciting a great overreaction from the administration. Now you expect it all fixed up in a few months? It would seem that it is you rather than his supporters that believe he's Jesus Christ because you certainly are expecting a miracle from him. Great photos by the way. We haven't ever had a cooler president.
- ApokalypseNow, on 07/07/2009, -4/+40I might feel sorry for you if you and your ilk hadn't been so proud of your liberty-stealing, torturing, warmongering, christofascist. If I never hear another person talk about "real America" or "real Americans" it will be too soon.
- ThsGuyRightHere, on 07/07/2009, -2/+34Really dude, you guys brought it on yourselves.
- ladysherwood, on 07/07/2009, -2/+34@zincroth: your comment shows that you didn't even click the link, as the very FIRST photo is of him speaking to troops. In Baghdad.
- dse78759, on 07/07/2009, -2/+34Lotta cute women in the press corp.
- rocknog, on 07/07/2009, -20/+51***** conservatives, I swear. Some photo-ops of Obama, and it's suddenly "OMG this is pathetic look how people are fawning over him!" Yeah, like this is something that isn't done with EVERY PRESIDENT. It's like with the story about throwing the first pitch - it's a presidential tradition going back nearly 100 years, but suddenly because it's Obama it's outrageous and unprecedented.
- pathouston22, on 07/07/2009, -15/+45I like the guy, but he's really been going off the edge lately. This cap and trade *****, supporting a potential-dictator in Honduras, continuing Bush policies of no transparency in several important cases (White House guest list), and a couple other things.
- WinkyMcGee, on 07/07/2009, -7/+37Sorry, they didn't have time to get a picture of the President in a flight suit landing on an aircraft carrier. You know, the real substantive pics.
- LJU1492, on 07/07/2009, -5/+34The note to the teacher is my favourite.
- gerrylazlo, on 07/07/2009, -1/+26It comes with the job. Free pyramid tour.
- Shwaavay, on 07/07/2009, -3/+27He opened up a forum so that people could discuss the nation's most pressing issues, then laughed when the nation wanted to talk about marijuana policy.
- filolif, on 07/07/2009, -9/+32Obama was given a ***** sandwich by the Bush administration and we're all very lucky to have him return a certain amount of competence to the presidency.
- ladysherwood, on 07/07/2009, -4/+27pure excellence.
- inactive, on 07/07/2009, -1/+24I'd still get detention.
- rocknog, on 07/07/2009, -6/+28Compared to the past eight years, it's been just peachy. I love how you guys ***** trashed the place and then bitch when everyone else isn't cleaning up your mess for you fast enough.
- twiztidsinz, on 07/07/2009, -0/+21http://i552.photobucket.com/albums/jj344/Twiztidsi ...
- ladysherwood, on 07/07/2009, -3/+24# 14 looks like he's slow motion walking in front of some huge Michael Bay-style explosion. love all these pictures!
- cdhill, on 07/07/2009, -1/+21I was in Cairo 6 months ago, and you can climb up the on the make-shift staircase to about 4 blocks high. After that, the guards will scream at you and waive their huge guns telling you to get down.
But I don't think anybody gets to waive a gun and yell at Obama. Egypt probably made sure that didn't happen. - alais, on 07/07/2009, -15/+34Meanwhile back in the real world we continue to see bills being voted on before their read and "town hall meetings" with pre-selected questions passed off as open public debate. Change indeed.
- darookee, on 07/07/2009, -2/+21BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE
- Rotzooi, on 07/07/2009, -4/+23zincroth is a 16yo hardcore right winger, lol
you're going to have a ***** life, and you deserve it. - auburntygur, on 07/08/2009, -0/+18http://img10.imageshack.us/img10/3914/picture4wyj. ...
Coincidence? Yes. - Disastrophe, on 07/07/2009, -11/+29Yea, George Bush beat him to it!
- inactive, on 07/07/2009, -14/+31How does any of this need "verification"? It's common knowledge.
- The deficit when Bush left was $500 billion. It is now almost $2 trillion.
- Unemployment is now 9.5%
- More troops were sent to Afghanistan
- Obama said nothing to support the Iranian freedom protesters or to condemn North Korea's nuclear showboating
- Obama condemned the Honduran change of power, calling it a coup
- Speech to the AMA and "town hall meeting" to promote public health insurance (also see England/Canada)
- $3k/yr figure - see heritage foundation study www.askheritage.org (also see what happened in Europe)
- Cap & tax is full of earmarks and the whole thing is born of socialist environmental SIGs
What more "verification" do you need? - TheInformer, on 07/07/2009, -1/+17You're forgetting those important issues like Obama's bowling, his eating chili dogs, his swating of flies... you know, important substantive issues that shape this country.
- Disastrophe, on 07/07/2009, -2/+18Thanks for those insightful comments.
- Easty, on 07/07/2009, -7/+2217 is the coolest picture.
- julian02392, on 07/06/2009, -1/+16Looks like him and his wife.
- Elranzer, on 07/07/2009, -6/+21I thank God every day McCain didn't win the election and Caribou Barbie is no where near the White House.
- Mightbiteyou, on 07/07/2009, -0/+15Andrew Jackson beat a dude half to death with a cane for trying to assassinate him, its going to take allot more than showing up on the Colbert report to top that
- Aadain, on 07/07/2009, -3/+18Well, conservatives (or should we just be honest and say Republicans) haven't really found a way to attach him over real issues yet. They would rather kick up dust over what he puts on his hamburgers (mustardgate). Basically, I'd be surprised if they *didn't* throw a hissy-fit every time something like these photos comes out. Its par for the course at this point.
- jake86, on 07/07/2009, -1/+16Mr. President, you have quite nice handwriting. Very legible.
- AWBoy666, on 07/07/2009, -10/+25These are all common knowledge. Try picking your head up out of the sand for once.
- ManUnitdFan, on 07/07/2009, -1/+15Jesus Christ Zincroth, I know you're young, but here's what they're talking about: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mission_Accomplished
