- tajitj, on 08/23/2008, -5/+21Zogby is the only one doing real polling. This is very encouraging him being at 10% in Nevada, 11% in New Hampshire.
A lot of Ron Pauls support is definetly going to Barr. The angry ones online who bash Barr do not represent most Libertarian leaning Republicans. - tjallen, on 08/23/2008, -2/+13Go Bob, Go!
- paulotto2007, on 08/24/2008, -0/+10Strong for a third party candidate and party looking to grow... but I see what you mean... still a lot of work for the LP to do, not just this year but going forward...

- FURBjr, on 08/24/2008, -0/+2I am happy that Barr is polling (relatively well), lets see if he even can get on the ballot in NH though, before we see how much this poll actually matters. There is quite a bit of contention between Barr and the person the LPNH convention pledged it's support to, physicist Dr. George Phillies, whom the LPNH had been collecting ballot access signatures for even before the LP National Convention. Correct me if I am wrong here, please.
- Kangalanatolian, on 08/24/2008, -0/+2Keep talking Bob, you are making a lot of sense. But those of us who boycott the major corporate "news" media know those points belong to Ron Paul and his true successor, Chuck Baldwin.
If we keep the government from "regulating" the internet, the rest of the country may eventually see past them as well. In Bob Barr's case, trust for the message does not have to mean trust for the messenger. Sorry, but your record does not shine like Ron Pauls, or is clean like Chuck Baldwins. - paulotto2007, on 08/25/2008, -0/+2Ha, ha, ha... um, no.
Ah, the Buckley conservative vs. libertarian debate rages on... good thing for America that people went with Buckleyism, I mean, we're just going broke and losing our liberties... no big deal. - inactive, on 08/26/2008, -0/+1Supporting OBushma is like wetting your pants. It gives you a warm feeling at first but starts to stink real fast and then damages you.
Obushma and McSame is not a choice it's just lame.
OBushma's brother lives on $12 a YEAR. If you think he has compassion you are fooled. - goes211, on 08/24/2008, -0/+1I supported Ron Paul in the primaries and donated to him as a candidate for the first time. I wish he was running this November but he his not.
Bob Barr is no Ron Paul. However, we need to ask ourselves who can I vote for that will make a difference for the ideals that Ron Paul stood for. Obama, not a chance. McCain, sorry no. Baldwins, I don't know much about him but a vote for him would seems like a write in for Ron Paul, mostly wasted.
Barr and the Libertarian party will further the ideals that Ron Paul stood for more than any other candidate. Therefore Barr get my support and vote! - inactive, on 08/26/2008, -1/+2Barr will be lucky to get 2% nationally..Double digits in a couple states is simply Not "Strong Support"
- kemp34, on 08/26/2008, -1/+1Buckley conservatism = idiocy.
- Carv, on 08/24/2008, -6/+5...Exactly how is 11% considered "strong support"?
- vault, on 08/24/2008, -3/+2Then the title should have been "Poll shows very low support for Barr, but for an unelectable third party candidate, not bad"
- twoofmyfriends, on 08/24/2008, -3/+0Polls don't mean anything. Neither do votes. How the ***** did Bush get elected twice?
- Echota, on 01/05/2009, -7/+1He won't make it past McCains Rove politics!
McCain WILL NOT let Barr show him up!
It ain't gonna happen!
I support Obama 100% but Barr appears to have more smarts then McCain, even to me!
